What are husbands for if not to sacrifice ourselves for our beloved?
My hubby would tell you the husbands job is bug disposal.

In other news. Set up a new subtank mini today. Anyone have any hints on how to get the airflow control ring to turn when it is being stubborn? It came set to full open which is too much for me and I can't get it to budge.

Sorry all mine work fine. Looks to be a pressed fit arrangement. If new I would seek a replacement one. if not get another base or try soaking in something?

I've already had one of my subtank bottoms separate. They unscrew apart and you can pull the ring off (not threaded, just a ring) along with the microscopic spring and ball bearing. All I can say is maybe your ball bearing slipped the hole its in and jammed up the works.

Well it finally happened my vapemail arrived today (happy B-Day to me). Got my new Cloupor Mini TC 50 looks and works great. And it only took 30 days from order to touchdown, so a big thanks to china post and usps for that.
Now if I can get the hang of makin' DIY juice that's tolerable I'll be good to go. Needless to say my first attempt has received less than rave reviews. But we ain't quit yet!

You will always be my cherry on top!
:)
Not sure. But I heard somewhere that lithium and water do not react well.
Will research. Could be wrong. Maybe if it is just real hot and not actively venting water is ok but if venting not a good idea?
Will await your research. Your assumption makes sense though you'd also think that by now someone would have jumped in a pool with their venting mod and gone poof.

PS - Thought Cher was already dead.

this from the following link:

Lithium will burn in a normal atmosphere and reacts explosively with water to form hydrogen.
The presence of minute amounts of water may ignite the material and the hydrogen gas.

Well that is good to know, thank you. There was this today. This Battery Won’t Make Cars or ‘Hoverboards’ Catch Fire Hoverboards have sure taken the heat off of "exploding" ecigs.

Thanks for the happy b-days. And yes I'm committed to creating somethin' vapable from the RTD kit and the flavor kit I ordered from flavor concentrates. Once I get it figured out the next phase will be the gathering of pg/vg/nic cause the g-men are comin'.

Well I pulled the trigger on some DIY stuff, vg, pg, nic, various syringes, couple of flavors all just under 50 bucks. Normally I spend about 70 a month on joose.
That's great!!! Can't wait to hear how you like your first DIY juice. Just don't get discouraged if at first it's not what you expect. It's easily tweakable. For fruits it's often good to add a bit of lemon juice, basically from the plastic lemon. start with 1 drop per 5 mls and go up from there, kinda makes em pop. Just like adding lemon juice and zest to a blueberry pie when baking

So, it's the Nautilus Mini for him. I hope he likes it. If not, next stop is the Subtank.
Hope that works for him!! At least he keeps trying, so that's some success. Keep hoping my SIL and nephew will. My nephew is more interested in it, but hacks up a lung, and I've tried changing everything else for him, pg/vg, nic etc, I'm pretty sure it's how he's vaping, and he doesn't want you to tell him how best to draw on it, wants to do it his way, then hacks up a lung, gets frustrated and buys cigs.

I’m crushed, David Bowie died tonight from cancer.
Oh man.......so sorry to hear this!! He was a little odd, but he was a great one!

Happy Birthday to you!!!! and much good luck in your DIY. What wasn't so great about your first attempts? Folks here can likely help!!! Have you tried unflavored to see if you like it?? Many do.

Oh Please No Hydrogen Bomb Scares!!! Vaping and batteries already are 'worse that WMD's' .
Thanks for the b-day wishes
My first DIY attempt was supposed to be a fool proof single flavor mix of ~50/50 @ 6mg but my 5% flavoring yielded something with a chemical rather than strawberry flavor.
adding a few additional drops of strawberry flavoring didn't seem to help so lets let her steep. after a week tried it again still no strawberry taste. Added 4-5 drops of flavoring have yet to try it again. Was strawberry not a good choice for my rookie attempt?

My hubby would tell you the husbands job is bug disposal.
Hmmmm... Lannie tells me that "the man's job is to lift heavy objects and kill things." I don't particularly care for the second part of that job. Well, and, of course, my tired old body is now resisting the first part too, so maybe I am at the place where the best job I can do is to just blow up when she throws me her bad battery....

They loosen up but the newest ones the ones that suck are tight. I put my fingernail in the hole and turn it clockwise with the tank on the mod so that you have the back pressure of the mod to push against. They will loosen up though a little VG might help.

If its one of the latest ones the single air holes with the dual air flow are both tight. I have to set it so that one hole and part of the wide open is open. I took mine off and put one of the old ones on. I will keep it for emergencies.
