Hello everyone.
Been a while since I've stopped by the porch, but had to pass this along -

Anybody set in their ways and still using Kayfuns (like me) there is a heck of a deal here, so I took a chance and ordered 2.

These are just like the one I paid $30 a couple years ago. A good kayfun clone for less than $10 is hard to beat, and I got them in 3 days.

Hope everyone is well, and I'll try to get by here more often...I miss the company and whoopee cushions.
Hi Bolivar! Welcome back! I got a few of those, too, it's a really good deal!

Bought a couple of theEhpro v2+ KFLs from vapor range a month or so age. Just love 'em. Watch the air screws though, they will back out on their own. I've heard tales of the air screw backing out to the point that it locked itself on to a mod. Just sayin' what I've heard.

Thanks for the tip. A drop of blue loctite on the screws will fix that. MMMMMMMMMMMM, blue loctite flavored juice !!!

Let us know how the loctite works out, I've got some red in my toolbox but haven't had guts enough to try it.
ETA Considering trying a small piece of teflon tape. Hmmmmm? Chewy and flavorful;)

Hum, seem to be missing my quote from Robert. I received a KF V4 from Vapor Bank with a faulty air flow deck screw. It was sealed. (found the problem thanks to my friends here) Since it was a manufacturing problem they sent me another and told me to keep the faulty one for parts. I found the screw at Fasttech and it (along with a few other spare parts) hit the states yesterday. So I should be able to fix the faulty one.

I also had problems with a KF Lite V2 from Vapor Range. Just could not get a working coil. They sent me another, keep the faulty one for parts. Several days later (again thanks to my wise friends here) I realized it was sticking to the MVP I use to check ohms. Tightened the air flow screws and voila! Another working KF Lite! I even emailed them that I found the original problem but they said not to worry, I got a freebe. I am using David's suggestion of a little rubber cement and have not had any more problems.

That red is evil stuff ! I use blue on my rifles that have problems with screws loosening due to recoil. A screwdriver will break it loose. But the red....need to get it to over 400 degrees to get it to budge.

My ratio is 65/35 cause I like the throat hit, & the nic is 3mg, with 10% of TFA blueberry extra.

Basically I made what I typically order pre made.
I think its hard to get a throat hit with 3mg. Thats what I use too and I really don't get it. Busardo says you have to use like 12mg like him. I'd have to get used to nic all over again been on 3 for about 2 years.

The rubber cement has been on my mental list every time I go to a store. But the stuff is not too bright, I guess, it keeps forgetting to jump into the shopping cart.

Well, darn it, I figured rubber cement would be in every home.

Where other suitable thread lock compounds might not be :)

Have any of you tried a Uwell Crown. I heard they are pretty good thinking of getting one later down the road. Considering 1 ML also way down the road.
It's a great tank, I use that & the TFV4 exclusively. Well I did put my sub tank back in the rotation, putting a clapton on the deck turned it around.

As for your comment on TH, It went away when I went down to 3mg but raising the PG brought it back.

According to an online search of my local shopping haunts loctite blue is more available than elmers rubber cement. Haven't figured out the logic but based on info available I am suspecting that rubber cement is not so dumb, it's just unobtainium. So, I'm modifying my mental shopping list and will find out tomorrow if loctite will jump into the cart when I go to Walmart.:)

I vape at 6mg. 50/50 and that is plenty of throat hit for me...
as I get older and my brain stops working right, I plan on upping the nic to compensate. will most likely go to higher VG then to reduce the hit. :D

ohhhhhhhh noooooooooooo I so wish you could come!!!! Definitely no contest........but dang. Have his birthday a month early this year and tell him he's earned???? hehehe
I wish it was that easy. It would require over 12 hours of driving for my husband to get me to and from the airport plus all the days I was gone for El Whacko to be housed in a kennel. Then there's the money spent and the days off from work for my husband. Also other considerations. It's just not doable, unfortunately. I hope you guys post a ton of pictures--and gossip. :D
Thanks for the nod FT. Watched this industry and community for some time. Followed super_X_drifters lead with the micro to try and see if we could put quitting and rebuilding on the fast track for new vapers. Reason I limited my participation the first 2 yrs here to hardware. Here to pay back what I couldn't pay forward. So the gratitude can't run out. Not the adventurous dynamic fella I was in biz and personal life these days but we try and keep up. On this FL bill we all of us need to pay attention as I think the agenda has seriously hardened. Evidence to me of the impact of the determined influence of vapers and this community. Bound to be a pushback. It's expected but a good sign. If you want to put out a fire, throw water on it. Well vapor's the proof positive. We're doin' it. Numbers matter!

Thx FT for the warm welcome and good luck. :)
If you've kept up on all the hardware, I'm in complete awe. I've forgotten more than I ever learned here. I live in California, land of stupid laws even for a democrat. We're up for a new round of assaults soon. Hope they all self-combust. I have no sympathy. I've seen you around those threads and salute your perseverance. Your patience far outlasts mine. Sir, I salute you and thank you for what you do, you do make a difference.
I use the Davides since the PTs became popular about the time I switched from carto tanks and people were having so many problem with them. Tried Evods but couldn't get rid of the plastic taste. Anyway, I hope you ordered the coils from FT, they're about $3.00 a pack from them if you buy more than 5 packs at a time. $3.44 Authentic Protank Clearomizer Coil Heads (5-Pack) 5-pack - 1.8ohm at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping It's what I'm stocking up on. But also listen to what Kenna says...
I have been stocking up since day 1.
The afc makes the pt2 my favorite tank. I have 7 years worth of coils, and that's without dry burning any.
Plus I have the pre made coil inserts if I need to use them.
A few more tanks and afc bases I should be good for about 10 years, nic included of course.
BTW. I only vape about 1-11/2 ml per day.
AFC?

Oh my, I vape a blank load more than you do. I'm not dry burning and rewicking because I can't see well enough at the moment to do so but have jars full of old coils to do so when when I can address the issue. I really need to sit down, breathe and address the issue of what I have, will need for the long term and what I need to buy for the long term. Anything is better than smoking but paying a near 100% tax (proposed in California) is not something I'm willing to bow down to.
Many who came that way were indentured and not very free.
The most freedoms for Non native Americans was just after we won independence. Freedoms have been disappearing ever since.
Some came to escape certain death in their homelands and were discriminated against violently because of their nationality. Go figure. Today, according to some, if you're a rancher, logger or miner (think destruction of our national resources) you're special, the rest of us--including this land's human heritage--can go to hell in a hand basket.

Hi everyone ... been missing on the porch for the last few days. Dang Grandkid past his 'bug' off on me ... Started w/ 102F fever Monday night which totally wiped me out for the next couple days. Was still feeling bad enough today I went to the doc ... she's the one asked if I have any grandkids w/ colds ... yep was baby sitting one the end of last week and even Monday. Hope these anti-biotic's kick its axx.

Oh and since this is the front porch .... welcome to the new folks who joined in the last few days and I'm expecting vape mail tomorrow. Hope it's on time as Saturday we could be in the middle of a blizzard.

Now lets go see how many pages I'm behind on the back porch.
Glad you're feeling Mike! :) Damn those germ-ridden kids. A friend says half her office is out with a nasty bug. Hope you are 100% soon.

When it finally does jump in your cart, store it upside down to prevent it from drying out. Just a hint from someone who learned the hard way.
Only on my toes. I prefer lavender.
Clear is also good to put on the numbers and the graduation marks on a syringe.
Do that and the numbers last years longer than the rubber plunger. Just a friendly warning.

heh - regular mouthpieces but with a condom on top. softer in the mouth and makes the piece taller for a better vape IMO.

AFC= air flow controller. Makes a big difference for 5 bucks extra.
