Carto's would have been enough to keep me away from vaping at all. Or syringe filling. I think I came to it at the perfect time!

I started with 808 cigalikes from a local tobacco shop. Then I started ordering online. Then I landed here, and ordered from Volt. I got frustrated with the limited options and wonky adapters, and made the transition. Sold the 808's to a friend.

Filling them was beastly. And I couldn't know if they were full enough. And they didn't last long enough to be worth the expense.

Then I switched to bottom-coil clearos. Rebuilt coils all the time. Once I settled on floral teas, I no longer had to have a bunch (30+) of flavors going at once, so I abandoned that.

Experimented with RTA's, and settled down to Orchids. Inexpensive, and infinitely rebuildable. And they hold 5 ml each, with options for 9.5. Now I am moving away from the floral teas, and returning to some old favorites from the flavor-flitting days.

WOW that is Shockingly good. But I can't buy even one more.

@3mg Meziere Yep I remember filling those things. And having them not last all that long. Wow we've been at this awhile if we remember that.:)

He may need to sub-ohm to get what he wants.
Has he tried your Reo??? Yeah I hated the filler material too. Right from the get go......couldn't stand it, but it was all I had for awhile. Luckily got a ce4 within a couple weeks or so I think

I came in from the smoke via a local shop (one of two at the time, now I don't have enough fingers to count!), and they set me up with a CE4+, on a 650 Ego. Couple months later, "discovered" bottom coils, aka T3 and PT.

Did do a stretch with cartos and carto tanks, but never really liked them.

My experience with cartos was very very short. From research the Smok DCT was the atty to have at the time and it was being offered in a coop so I couldn't loose(so I thought). It came in the mail and within the first 10 minutes I wanted to throw it against the wall. Just couldn't get it to work properly, either flooding or dry hits. I even took the carto apart, revamped the coils put back together and still crap vapes, bought different cartos and tried again to no avail. Those several DCT tanks and bout dozen cartos sat for well over a year before I finally gave them away. I still kept 1 carto and tank to remind me of the awful experience and the complete waste of money those DCT tanks were.

And I'm kicking myself, I really liked the looks of the red/black and almost bought one the other day, and now they don't have any more, except the mini. Selection of the 2.5s is dwindling fast it seems.

Oh, and hi everyone, lurked here a bit but never posted since I'm not really sure if I qualify, being 45. But wanted to at least say hello.

Howdy and a big welcome to the porch. Find a chair or rocker and make yourself at home. No 'id' checks on the porches and you're likely not the youngest. So please to join us and stay awhile.

Everyone at every age loves to sit on a great big porch! I'm delighted that you came out of hiding to say "hi." We love meeting new folks :). Welcome To the friendliest and most supportive thread on ecf (IMHO, anyway!)!

Thanks for the welcome to the porch. I tend to usually be fairly quiet so I'll probably mostly sit back quietly in my rocker. I do see a few familiar "faces" around here so I assume it is safe, but...

should I be worried about this?:D

Nah, not as long as you have room on your credit card :)

Unlike me, my brother is a DTL vaper/smoker. He misses the feeling of the smoke expanding in his lungs. That's how he describes it anyway. Yet, he still wants the flavor of a 306. Maximum flavor, maximum vapor.

He's tried my REO. But, what's the difference if he's dripping from the top or from the bottom? It's the topper he needs to work on.
My experience with cartos was very very short. From research the Smok DCT was the atty to have at the time and it was being offered in a coop so I couldn't loose(so I thought). I had a helluva time getting started with carto-tanks. Starting with my first coming pre-punched with 3 holes. Yes, 3 holes!!! I vape very high PG. So, you can guess how well that worked!

I go through periods where they just aren't working for me. Then, sometimes they're fantastic! That's why I've got so many different kinds of things. That's just the way things work for me.

For those that can stick to it until they get it to work properly, one thing might be enough. But, not for me. I get so frustrated that I have to walk away for a long time. And use something else in the meantime.
See I still love my carto tanks. I even picked up a diver to use in them and went through the nightmare of figuring out how to get that to work. I SO regret not getting a sophia instead.
Watch the Classies. I recently found some Sophias there for $30 each shipped. They're long gone now. But, you never know!

Welcome to the Porch! You're certainly not the youngest. Make yourself at home, and tell us all about yourself.

The only thing to worry about is your credit card. Just like everywhere else on ECF!

I forgot to mention. If you keep checking on the Provape site, they keep adding a few more here and there. You never know. Another red/black may just turn up!

Na, I'm just kidding ya. We just love to spend other peoples money and enjoy vicariously. This porch is supposed to stay vape related, although we sometimes get off track. I am sure someone will post a link to the back porch where anything goes. I am on my phone or I would. The porches are the best places around! Lots of friendly, caring, knowledgeable people who love to share and listen. Welcome again!
