HOW TO: Build the NicoStick

A long time ago when I heard about potential deeming I stocked up on 510 connectors and pulled them off old dead ego batteries since.

I would hate having to do it but I could probably manage this build.

It is toppers I have never really worked out beyond I know how to turn a cigalike carto into a dripper but it is not a happy place to be.

I run mostly mechs so it isn't really the mod that scares me it is the toppers. Drippers and tanks and such that have me worried. I see some big fasttech orders in my future.

My IGO=Ls from fasttech are still going strong at 3 years old and the subtank mini parts I picked up are rock solid.

All of my toppers have interchangeable parts and are rebuildable - plus I have a couple of drippers with big juice wells so I feel I have that covered - I may pick up a couple of something, but deciding what will be a chore since I always procrastinate so much over each purchase... :D

Note: My habit to procrastinate has saved me a lot of money over my vaping journey - I just hope that later it does not bite me with hindsight later down the road...

Yep, hardware is my big unkown also - I have tried my best to keep all my stuff interrelated and rebuildable to assist, but there is still an unknown remaining... I guess I could always buy 3 blem Provari's and put them in a drawer - the electronics should not go bad just sitting there...

Don't procrastinate on the Provari's if you're seriously considering it. Even Provape left a gloomy prospect for their future over in one of the Provape threads.

That is something that I am seriously considering. I figure that they are built well enough and they do more than what I need in vaping and should hold up well sitting in a drawer as I use them one by one...

I only have one thing to say about this lovely FDA BS. I'm truly sick and tired of government sticking its nose into my business and trying to protect me!! I'm past sick of it. I can understand not selling to kids, but the rest of the BS is just too much for me to contemplate. If this keeps on, they will be telling us next when we can go to the bathroom and how often.

Hi, been gone a while. Returned home to several disasters That almost completely took the wind out of my sails. About all I've been doing here is bumping the petition thread. I did wander over to the BP and saw some of the photos from the get together. Looks like you guys had a great time! :)

Here is one video from today

And this story flat out rocks. What the E-Cigarette Black Market Will Look Like if FDA Stomps Industry

Yes that is a easy build and will be a reliable vape. You will also be able to get the OKL/OKR and Raptor boards in 5/10/20 amp from places like Mouser as they are converters for LED lighting that modders crossed over to make mods from. Only thing that could be scarce is 510's like you said. You can get modern ones from Varitube for 4 bucks or the older style for pennies these days.

I have seven Reos, six BilletBoxes, four P3's, two P2.5's, two ProVape Radii, two mechs, and several random mods. (Sounds like the Twelve Days of Christmas!) I'm short on KFL V2 parts, kanthal and cotton, and am awaiting the release of the BilletBridge Sport (uses a subtank mini build deck). With this stuff and a dozen more batteries, I'll be fine. But I am so sad for the many folks who may never know the life saving wonder of this thing we call vaping.

Took me a bit to find the front again. It is sad, but somehow I think vaping will still be available, just much more expensive as they tax the product and drive up vendors costs by forcing them to provide proven quality control and pay filing charges. It'll be interesting to see if Au follows the US or Uk stance. Anyway, I'll be stocking up a bit over the next month or so of pay days, so I hope it doesn't get crazy with people buying up to the point of "out of stock" everywhere too quickly. I cant build my own, so I'll have to keep an eye on it, and dip into savings if I have to create a large enough back up stash to last the next couple years. Doomsday prepping, lol! I'm late getting into the game.

Well 1 more liter of nic and I undoubtably have a lifetime supply. Its hardware I worry about. How long can I keep it going. Being non mechanically inclined I just am not so sure how well I would do making my own mods and drippers. :p
I'm not as much worried about hardware as I am nic. I've tried dropping my nic level and been mostly unsuccessful. I may have gone from 24 to 21, but that's not even a dent. Most of my nic is at my sil's house, so don't even know for sure what I have, but 2-3 liters. I figure I need 8 total.

Glad you're home, but sorry you came home to several disasters!

yeah but whatchya gonna vape in all that? Are ya stocked up on nic? And I totally agree that it's a crying shame that cigs are safe, but those who have never tried vaping are the ones who will really lose out. I sure hope someone with a brain will come along and fix this. (a lot of someone's who are trying desperately to fix it).

Some level of medium will be drawn - not anywhere near to what we have now, but somewhere in the middle - probably very close to the bottom for sure...
I hope you're right, but although I'm usually a very optimistic person......I'm not that optimistic with this. I see more a prohibition type thing. Hope I'm wrong

ok if I got this right

I vape at 1 mg/ml

so one liter of 100mg/ml will make 100,000 mL juice

100,000 mL/60 =1,666.6(repeating) 60 mL bottles of juice

I consume 2-3 bottles a week (yeah I chain vape + subohm)

so that is 1,666 / 3 = 555.3(repeating) weeks

555 / 52 (weeks in a year) = 10.67 years

I am 51 so as I figure it 4 liters should do me?

Can someone check the math?

I bought a liter yesterday, so I have either 3 or 4 liters. At 10 mls/day, give or take, and at 3 or 4mg/ml, a liter should go about 7 years (allowing for waste). All of my Nic is the Nude Nic extended shelf life stuff. My biggest worry is whether "extended" goes out 20+ years.

I'm not as doom and gloom as I was yesterday; at the least, I'm feeling like the date will move to 2016.
