I have seven Reos, six BilletBoxes, four P3's, two P2.5's, two ProVape Radii, two mechs, and several random mods. (Sounds like the Twelve Days of Christmas!) I'm short on KFL V2 parts, kanthal and cotton, and am awaiting the release of the BilletBridge Sport (uses a subtank mini build deck). With this stuff and a dozen more batteries, I'll be fine. But I am so sad for the many folks who may never know the life saving wonder of this thing we call vaping.

Will you adopt me. Yikes! Nice collection. :thumb:

Its hardware I worry about. How long can I keep it going. Being non mechanically inclined I just am not so sure how well I would do making my own mods and drippers. :p

I'm not too worried about this. The FDA regs do not apply to fasttech or any of the other overseas companies. They apply to domestic retailers and manufacturers. As far as being able to get our hands on equipment, I don't really see a problem. Also, VG, PG, flavors, batteries, wire, wick... those are all safe from regulation. None of those things are "vape specific". Nicotine solution is questionable... I don't know if that will still be available to consumers or not. Is there another market for it, other than vaping?

Hi, been gone a while. Returned home to several disasters That almost completely took the wind out of my sails. About all I've been doing here is bumping the petition thread. I did wander over to the BP and saw some of the photos from the get together. Looks like you guys had a great time! :)

Here is one video from today

And this story flat out rocks. What the E-Cigarette Black Market Will Look Like if FDA Stomps Industry

Welcome back FT ... we've missed you. Just sorry you came back to 'disasters'. Hoping you're talking about the 'deeming' and not personal issues.

ok if I got this right

I vape at 1 mg/ml

so one liter of 100mg/ml will make 100,000 mL juice

100,000 mL/60 =1,666.6(repeating) 60 mL bottles of juice

I consume 2-3 bottles a week (yeah I chain vape + subohm)

so that is 1,666 / 3 = 555.3(repeating) weeks

555 / 52 (weeks in a year) = 10.67 years

I am 51 so as I figure it 4 liters should do me?

Can someone check the math?

Holy cow! You're going through 120-180 mls per week. Do you vape while sleeping?

OK -- caffeine hasn't kicked in can't comment on your math.

As I understand it, those products would remain legal until they did.

I thought I read a disclaimer re: the deeming that if an application wasn't reviewed within the time period allotted ... it would still have to be pulled from the market. I could be wrong I scanned so much 'reading material' last night.

Kaz they can and will stop it at customs. They have done it before. Don't count on Chinese suppliers being a way around this.

That may be true. Fortunately there isn't much that can go wrong with an RDA or RTA. They can't ban o-rings or screws, and those are about the only parts that would ever need to be replaced. Maybe glass for a tank, but that wouldn't be too terribly hard to source either. Even if you strip a thread, you can always just chase the thread with a tap or die, unless you seriously screwed it up. If push comes to shove, a coupla mechs and RDAs could last the rest of our lives.

@Mike

When you are running a dual clapton coil @ .5 ohms and 30 watts it can blow through a Full TFV4 tank in less than 30 minutes of chain vaping.

I am figuring numbers on worst case scenario type things.

OK

Hey Mike Kabuki on FT 10 bucks

Got mine (a real one) for free ... neener, neener. :pervy:

Then I stumbled across another one for $40. It was missing the glass tank ... but no problem. Kabuki and ZAPs use the same tank, and I had a spare ZAP tank.

I'm good on Kabuki's now and waiting on another P3. Damn the deeming. I feel OK for Janet and me ... but have concerns for others particularly those just starting out or haven't even started yet.

That's only one of many setups that can burn it's way through your stockpile of supplies in a hell of a hurry.
yep...when I went to subohm the amount of juice I go through in a week quadrupled.

oh the other side though I went from 4 mg juice to 1 mg LOL

I'm one of those pretty much just starting out. I admit this whole thing has knocked me off my moorings. Instead of casually searching around and deciding to buy something I want at a reasonable price, I'm feeling a sense of urgency, pretty much an anxiety, about stocking up on stuff. No joy in the hunt, now.

I'm having a hard time figuring out just what I should be focusing on with a fairly limited budget that was hit hard last week by a $4,200 bill to replace water and sewer lines at my house. Yeah, real life gets in the way.

I just got sample flavors, 250ml of 100mg nic, and 500ml each of pg and vg last week. Haven't even had the chance or inclination to experiment with it yet. Also, rolled my first coil on a Kayfun 2.1 and found it an unpleasant but doable chore.

I have 10 mods, though six are enclosed battery eLeafs. In addition, I have 2 Provari, 1 Evic VTC Mini and a $9.95 Zmax. I've been shopping and buying cheap (even the Provaris are blems that I got for a great price).

I just can't quite yet wrap my head around what I need to buy to feel safe if the worst parts of these regulations hold up. I know Nic is a biggie, but I'm not sure how much I need. And, a litre of 100mg nic at Nude Nic is $105. That hurts.

Take a look at the Subtank Mini or the TopTank version of it. The rebuildable deck that comes with it is about the easiest to setup I have ever seen. Very easy to tighten down the leads and get the cotton set right. I have much better luck with it that a KayFun style atty.

I would also look at the possibility of a quality Mech mod but you will have to ask around for what is quality these days as I am a bit out of the loop. You will have to learn a little bit about battery safety to go with using a rebuildable on a mech but there are many to teach you. I can if no one else steps forward.

For starting out you're not in a bad position mod wise. If each Eleaf lasts only a year - you've got a number of years before they all expire. (I got is iSticks too in our stockpile)

The Provaris will last a long time. Some of ours are approaching 5 year of use and still working well.

I'd suggest though a couple more replaceable batt mods though.

Don't know which brand/ model Zmax you have but our Sigelie (sp?) full & mini are decent mods.

You can get less expensive nic that's still decent for less $ than Nude Nic

If I were you I'd focus on finding an Rta style you're comfortable building. Then get a few & spare tanks/parts.

The KFL isn't that hard to rebuild. What kind of problems frustrated you. It does get easier w/ each attempt.

Ecigexpress, currently less than $50 for a liter of 100 mg nic. Doesn't hurt as much! Haven't checked MyFreedomSmokes recently, but usually about the same.
