Update on Kay!

Been trying to get hold of her for 3 days. They had sent her to the "other" rehab that was supposed to be so nice.......well.......they might have linen tablecloths, but they don't take care of ya. Some type of complication arose. She wasn't sure if it was infection or what it was.........so the rehab sent her to the ER. In true kay fashion, after waiting for 3 hours to be seen.......she called a cab and went home! The cab driver all but carried her in the house, got her remote, some coffee, etc. Next day, she ended up talking to her doc or someone, who told her to get her .... back in the ER!! So Chey took her up there today. She is waiting there now, but when passing her area, a doc stopped backed up and looked.....it was one of the docs who'd done her surgery, so he told her he was the only osteo on call, and he had a couple ahead of her, but he would find out what was going on and get her fixed!!! So I told her to let me know when she knows what's going on. She sounded great. She kept saying that I on the other hand, cuz of my cold, sounded like a dirty old man over the phone!:facepalm:

Even though I've seen evidence of it before, it's still hard to deal with! Also that one agency can essentially wipe out an entire industry!

Welcome to the porches!!! Good to see ya. But ya definitely oughta start gittin stocked up!
I've got my reos, two great atties, a couple more pretty good atties. Hope I'm not wrong, but I do believe batts, wire, cotton etc will be available, so workin on getting more nic and glass bottles to put it in. Hope we really will have two years and that prices don't go nuts
Nope. Nothing related to vaping was neglected. They nailed it all.

How would you compare the V4 to the Lite? I watched the PB YT review, it looks like an IQ test to take apart and reassemble. Thinking about picking one up but if it's not that great an improvement I'll just keep the ones I have running.
I don't have the lite... Somewhere, I have a v2 and the v4 is way better.

Thanks need to learn more about them...

It looks like one is a clone and the other is a real one - am I right?
Someone was saying that Fastech sells the Authentic a lot cheaper then anyone in the US apparently they got the OK from Kayfun to sell them. Probably not to many US vendors want to carry them there are so many others out there. PB likes the Hurricane better and he was always a Kayfunboy. Authentic Hurricane is like $190

So, what is new and exciting hardware-wise? I'm still running my old school KFLite. Killed my daily carry Provari 2.5 and picked up a classic. Still have my Semovar as my daily backup and Nemesis as the weekend warrior. Can I still hang out with the cool kids?

I've been using Hex Ohm's for several months now. Love 'em! Want more! I have 2 Hana Modz to send in for repair & they'll go in the stash box. I use KFL+v2's & have a few drippers in the box. I keep one out for diy tasting.

Glad you're home, but sorry you came home to several disasters!
Welcome back FT ... we've missed you. Just sorry you came back to 'disasters'. Hoping you're talking about the 'deeming' and not personal issues.
Thank you both.
Well the dripper I'm using right now is 4 years old (A7 mini), and still works as well as a new one.
(with a 2 ohm coil no less)

Lets see, figure I've got 6,000 months worth of pre-made coils ... ya think that will be enough?
Having enough is a myth.
My frustration mainly was trying to hold the coil/mandral on the head while trying to wrap the wire around the screw then tightening it down. My hands are not steady for that kind of work. The Zmax is the Sigelei v3. It's extendable for different battery sizes. I'm not giving up on the KFL. I did manage to get the coil working and will practice to find a way that works for me. I do love the flavor.
There is always this.

$22.00 Authentic Pliot Vape Coil Magician Electric Wire Coiling Jig Tool Kit - 2mm + 2.5mm + 3mm + 3.5mm heads / 1*18350 at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

There are a number of people here with hand issues that have been able to find a way to get coils made. Screws seem to be the hardest way to do it.
Tutu! So glad to see you back!

That newscaster didn't give him much opportunity to talk. She insisted this was all about the little stuff (labeling and age restrictions).

But, the article is pretty good.

It just infuriates me that we have to settle on fighting to move the date from 2007 to 2016. We shouldn't have to be fighting for ANY of it!
Thank you Dancing. The whole thing is ridiculous. Even the experts seem to be having trouble figuring the whole thing out. Knew it was going to be bad but never dreamed this bad.
Yup. Nicotine first. Hardware second. Get your .... moving!

I have lots, but still keep being tempted to buy more. After all, what if my brother's house catches on fire? Maybe I should have 2 separate stashes as added protection.
Two stashes is a good idea. I have serious concerns about our house burning this year (lots and lots of dead standing timber around here, some right next to the house.
Kenna I heard about the potential deeming one week after I started vaping and hit the panic button immediately. Once I calmed down I started a systematic process of getting myself ready for it. It was a conscious decision on my part.

I have spent the better part of the last 3 years hunting down information on how to DIY hardware and Liquid and stockpiling what I hope are devices that will last.

There is a ton of info out there on DIY liquid and even DIY mods. Dang near nothing on making an atty from scratch. What I found was an obscure video on how to take apart a Blu cartridge and make a dripper out of it. I tried it. It works. Not happily but it does work.

I have taken a considerable amount of crap from people on ECF over the years for being a vapocalypse prepper. That has mostly driven me to stick to the porches rather than venture into other areas of the site much. As a consequence I may be behind on what info is out there now.
You and me both. Grateful I was warned and took heed. The $30 Provari 2.5s have been a big help too. I own a herd now.

Both are EHPro clones. This is what all 16 of mine are. KayFun Lite Plus v2's. They have the dual air flow that adjusts with grub screws. Bottom fill. I recommend them highly.

Jup they nailed it all, but I can't see that surviving in court. Ok......you can have an 18650 battery because we're pretty sure you intend to use it in a flashlight......... but you can't have one, we saw that you bought nic, yur gonna use it to vape with. Also can't see if surviving court when Temco gets told it can't sell a wide variety of wires that it likely sold for other purposes before vaping was even invented. I could be wrong, but I just don't see that holding up.

PB likes the Hurricane better and he was always a Kayfunboy.
I remember when you couldn't get him to like any type of tank/clearomizer........it was boge 510 period. He'd try the tanks/clearos but hated em. That all changed when the vivi nova rolled into town!

Did Phil actually say he liked the Hurricane better than the Kayfun? I did hear him say that the Squape "may" have slightly better flavor than the Kayfun, but every time I saw him he was still using a Kayfun.

Lordy. I'm not playing with a full deck today..lol. Clothed nic. Duh. I would actually be OK with 50/50, but are there any concerns with stocking it long term in that configuration? I've been told that 100% PG is best for keeping in the freezer. I don't know if that's true, though. I like a 70/30 VG mix in my juices. Is the ecigexpress nic pretty much tasteless? I keep reading warnings about some nics tasting peppery.
Most of my nic is from MFS. I've only opened & broken down 1 liter. I get no peppery taste from it at all. I'm using it at 1.8mg in my mixes. I do have a liter from ECX, but haven't used any yet. I like the packaging of the ECX better. Those flat little jugs fit in thr freezer better than the big round bottles.

Mike, there are several of us here that have hand issues. My right hand is pretty deformed & doesn't work as it should, plus there are times when it's a bit shaky. I am very right handedn.but I work at training & using my left hand more. I wrap coils using a coiler & I have one of those stick type graduated mandrels that I put the coil on after it's wrapped. The mandrel is long enough that I can manipulate it better to hold the coil on the airhole & steady while I bend the coil legs around the post screws & thighten the screw. Sometimes I use a needle nose plier to hold the leg & pull it around the screw. There are a lot of things to use the help. Sometimes I can do it better holding the base in my hand, other times I put it on one of my MVP mods & can handle it better that way. I'll probably make a stand of some kind the holds it in a stable position that I wouldn't knock over. Maybe a pyramid shape with a 510 in the top of it.

Wow! At $156/liter, it better be good! Where did you hear about it?

I read it in another thread, @FringeChief68 is getting into DIY and asked about 100mg nic. Most had suggestions that have been written here, but nobody mentioned this one. Several people said to try the small 120 ml bottle for $17.99. A couple of people said it had NO peppery taste and was the smoothest they ever tried. Very pricy, but if you have sensitive taste buds this might be the trick.

I have seven Reos, six BilletBoxes, four P3's, two P2.5's, two ProVape Radii, two mechs, and several random mods. (Sounds like the Twelve Days of Christmas!) I'm short on KFL V2 parts, kanthal and cotton, and am awaiting the release of the BilletBridge Sport (uses a subtank mini build deck). With this stuff and a dozen more batteries, I'll be fine. But I am so sad for the many folks who may never know the life saving wonder of this thing we call vaping.

It is a sad time, very hard to believe its happening.

BB Sport sounds like something I want, the Subtank rba's are a good vape.
