This just geys crazier. Looks like My Vape juice, one of the most popular NET (naturally extracted tobacco) vendors will be closing due to her credit card service. Seems Visa and Mastercard have deemed her a tobacco vendor and canceled her account. On my phone so no link to quote Dianne, but what next? Credit cards don't work and the postal services won't ship? I AM starting to get paranoid :shock::shock::shock::evil::-x:-x:-x

These are the members of the Senate Appropriations subcommittee for Agriculture et al. Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies | United States Senate Committee on Appropriations
Please consider writing to them. The House and Senate Appropriations bills must be reconciled before they are sent to the President for signature. I haven't found anything at all re the Senate's deliberations on Agriculture (FDA) spending for the next fiscal year. It is my understanding (fwiw) that both chambers will try to complete their respective bills prior to August recess. Of course, that didn't work out so well, last year.

I just got through watching the rest of it. I love it. If only this could be spread to everyone in this country.

The FDA is going to be shamed so badly! Which they should be. No, they should be prosecuted as individuals and put in prison.

You must be talking about the V4 if you want to see how everything on the V3 works watch Quorax's review on it. It has all the stuff the V4 has but no Spring. The V5 will probably be even better but damn why can't they come up with a better price.
I've been using the V4s for a long time now... I just don't adjust the airflow.
For me, it's an easy device to fill and rebuild.

AMEN! We can only hope, and write, and speak up, and vote. But I don't know who is pro vaping (pro health) or not because no one will even address Social Security and health care!

Just got off the phone with Kay finally!!! Been trying to get hold of her for days. Poor things been through the ringer. She sounded great!! She wasn't in pain when we talked, she'd just gotten up from a deep sleep for about 4 hrs or so. She's been in pain, but wasn't when we talked. She's real fuzzy about what all has happened and when it happened.....but she was able to tell me that they gave her a tour of the rehab that is in the hospital where her surgery was done......and even showed her the room that would be hers...... took her back to her hospital room, and a few hours later came in and said they were releasing her to go home. She told em no, I'm supposed to go to the rehab...... they said newp, you're doing well enough to go home.

She went home......Chey had to go to work. Kay futzed around trying to get things arranged so she could move around, have everything she needed with her, etc......so then her leg and foot swelled up really bad......and Chey had to take her back to her doctor.......(who she now likes a lot by the way, this is the one she was gonna fire after her surgery was done with). He sent her to make sure she had no blood clots, she doesn't......and that was the second time she'd been checked within a few days, so that's great! Her recliner is set to when she lays it all the way back, her leg is elevated above her heart, so that's great! She's getting the in home therapy set up.....great again! And while she's not happy with the hospital just kickin her out.......she's glad to be home and a lot more comfortable there. So we'll see how the next few days go. She's also had so many friends and family there checking on her constantly so she feels so incredibly blessed to know she's completely surrounded by people who love her so much!!
Ivm so glad she's doing so well! She really is doing great if they sent her home instead of to rehab! Excellent!

Is provari big and profitable enough to survive this? Although, if I'm buying my tank and replacement coils from the uk, my source of supplies shouldn't be at risk, as long as they aren't made in the USA. Well, it's all a bit of a mess, isn't it? They really are moving backwards. Hope someone, maybe the medical establishment, will shine some light on it.
Having a good time with my I stick, big improvement over the vaporfi. Don't miss sub ohm at all, thought I might.
Very glad I found the porches, it was a very solitary experience before I did. And everyone has been welcoming, patient, and so helpful. Have yet to see anyone else vaping here.
Kids coming this weekend, don't see them often enough, and next week I start designing my spot, wicker, an overload of tropical plants, so it feels like rainforest, and whatever artwork I get inspired to do.
Turning down commissions in favour of just enjoying.
I'm thrilled that you like your new set up! Now you need a duplicate or 2 of that & you'll be unlikly to run into 'lack of vape syndrome'!

I look for our representatives to slash some items out of the FDA action and restrict their ability to seize and stop current products from shipping. Testing is one thing. Banning everything is a little bit Fascist. Test the products and require manufacturers to retrofit problem devices. Put warning labels on the rest. Isn't that the American way? A label that says, "You must use batteries rated at 20A or higher in this mod to prevent overheating and battery failure or explosion. Minimum safe atomizer resistance is .5 ohms" should be sufficient.

I also think that our lawmakers will realize that the registration costs of getting products approved is ridiculous. Charging a separate $300,000 application fee to get different nic strengths of juice approved is ludicrous.

Mods need to be safe and batteries need to be matched to the load they are used under, but this is common sense. The problem is that people are buying mods with replaceable batteries and inserting the cheapest batteries they can find. If you put a 10A battery in a cloud maker, you run the risk of battery failure.

Isn't that a little like buying a small sports car with a Hemi? It's a dangerous device if you floor it, run 100mph, and pass cars in heavy traffic. If you maintain safe speeds and drive responsibly you will be fine. Do they ban cars with more than 100HP? No ... it's up to the driver to accept the responsibility for their actions.

Uhmmm...I just want more Kayfun's & another one of these!

I was deliberately skipping those companies with BT connections. It goes without saying that if anything can get through those with connections probably have the best shot at it. How many of us would buy from them though? I was looking at companies I would trust.
I bought a couple of things from Johnson's Creek when I first started vaping. Before I knew to differentiate between smoking & vaping. When I saw the actal label on their bottles I discarded whatever I had & kept one just so I'd remembr why I don't buy thier liquids. The bottle blew my mind. They call themselves America's Smoke Juice. I emailed them & asked why they would use the word's soke juice instead of vape juice or eliquid. The reply said that it was originally because when they started out the public didn't know what vaping was or what eliquids were so they went with what people would be familiar with which was smoking. I replied that they've had years to change it & distance themselves from smoking since vaping is not smoking. Their failure to do so tells me that they are associated with tobacco products & I would not purchase their products again. They also develope & sell their own ecig pens. This bottle is from 2014 & has warning labels on it about the dangers of nicotine.

Am still buying assorted brands and types of premade juice in search of the ultimate flavour. Watched a couple diy beginner videos, ug, bottles, beakers, syringes, and a multitude of ingredients. It's fussy, messy, and basically setting up a kitchen lab, and the calculators are confusing me. Start out with 100 pg Nic, but how to get a from there to a usable bottle of flavoured 18 Nic juice is still a mystery. Percentages versus Mls? If it was straight up mls, I could do it easily, but although I'll get the nicotine, I'm dreading having to mix it myself. Too much math, not my strong suit.
I moved this to the Front Porch, Vape.

Take it from me and others who purchased way more stuff than needed, that the list of labware needed is quite short.

I use a 10 ml graduated cylinder and a 100 ml graduated cylinder and nothing else except a container to pour the joose into after combining the ingredients.
Some people prefer a 5 ml or 10 ml syringe instead of the 10 ml graduated cylinder.

Johnson Creek used to (and as far as I know still do) supply the juice for Blu. So there is your Big tobacco connection right there.

It's always interesting how the Camel gets its nose under the tent. We thought that the FDA was finally doing something that was good (or at least not that bad) for ecigs.

The Camel has now entered the tent.

E-Cig Execs Are Actually Thrilled With New FDA Regulations

E-cigarette makers have hailed the Food and Drug Administration's proposed regulations for new tobacco products—including electronic cigarettes, pipe tobacco and hookah, among others—as fair and moderate and a sign of a business-friendly approach
“It’s a great day,” says Christian Berkey, CEO of Johnson Creek, a leading maker of electronic cigarette liquid based in Wisconsin.

Berkey was referring to the FDA’s issuance Thursday of proposed federal regulation of electronic cigarettes, a nascent industry that has grown to nearly $2 billion a year in U.S. sales. The move extended the FDA’s authority to regulate new tobacco products, including electronic cigarettes, pipe tobacco, and hookah, among others.
