Tried to copy a link on my phone but not working. No more bulk but they do still have individual. Hum, not sure the ohms, but I don't think they are LR. I think those are sold out. But still great and simple for testing flavors. Drip, taste, rinse, blow out through 510 connection, next! And for me they last a long time. For tasting a strong flavor a nice vodka soak and perhaps a little plain pg/vg vape clears it out.

Way to go Mattman! Congrats on the win!

Holy Crap! You're amazed ... I'm amazed you a.) chain vape and b.) used less than 5 replacement coils in a year. Holy Cow! What are you using?
Hi, Mike: My husband and I had to go online just to find the specs because my batteries are so much older now that we lost the original receipts. I have had these batteries for about two and a half years. From what we were able to match up here, I have:

EVOD 1000 mAh battery
MT3 EVOD Style Cartomizer
2.2-ohm coil
(Of course, my gear is old enough it may no longer be available. Please feel free to correct me if the above is an invalid combination of Frankenstein parts. All were bought at a reputable KangerTech dealer.)

I now have to find the same stuff from an online shop. I doubt I will ever find them again for 15-17 dollars per battery or if the shop I went into has survived the times. I buy my 0 mg nicotine juice at vape4life and wait for sales. They mark down the 0 mg juice in 30 ml bottles down to five dollars a bottle and I often really stock up. I do not think for a minute that everyone would be happy with what I am using because it is definitely not a cloud chaser unit, but a tootle puffer type. I do get some nice clouds when I slowly inhale and especially after it's warmed up. The coils were expensive. A box of five coils was 10.00, which I thought was highway robbery because it said on the inside instructions that one coil would only last about two to three weeks, but mine are lasting months at a time. It might be an aberration from the earlier days, but I like this setup and hope to really stock up on enough to last a lifetime -- if I live that long!!! :)

the gear is still available. I just ordered 5 more T3S clearomizers for a bit under $15. They had the MT3's as well but I like seeing my juice.

I wonder why my coils are lasting so long. I'm perplexed by that, but delighted to save money (for a change).

I hope they don't feed that to teething babies!!! That's so funny it's SICK!!!
Or, so sick that it's funny!
Did my cushion in the sun get moved with the porch? If not this old purple kitty might just have to invest in a new one.

As you all know it was a rough summer and that turned into a stupidly busy tiring summer helping the Mother in Law adjust to things and deal with property and finances and 100 other things (yes I did have to teach her how to check her tires and put gas in the car). It all added up to I needed some time to decompress and become a much less growly kitty. :)

I am doing fine overall. Vaping wise I think I am going through another one of those change periods.

After months of nothing tasting good to me suddenly the tastebuds have kicked into high gear and everything tastes too strong or not like I thought it did. So now I am mucking about with some new DIY flavor at MUCH lower concentrations.

After vaping 24 mg all summer I am finally back down to 12 and working my way back down to 4 which seems to be the lowest I can go and stay sane.

I have finally figured out how to drive with my REOs. Now I just hate taking them out of the house as I am afraid I will loose one. Yes folks I managed to loose 2 ego batteries over all the traveling dealing with my father in laws illness.

I just picked up a NIFTY kit for rebuilding tools Wotofo DIY Kit

I also am giving those japanese cotton pads a try. So far loving them.

Super handy for portable REO maintenance and having everything in one place. I LOVE the coil winder in it. The tools seem to be decent quality as well.

I am seriously considering picking up a sub box mini kit for a portable vape that I wouldn't cry if I dropped or lost. Its a decent deal at $60 and the reviews are excellent. Any opinions?

Anyways just thought I would pop in and let you all know that I am still around. I often lurk and read the forums more than I post these days as I am often doing it on my phone which is not particularly suited to typing messages.

wow...are you vaping water??? lol Might be time to change that coil hun
HAAAA!!!!!!!!! I swear I just changed the coil a few nights ago for the first time in a few months or longer!!! Really!!! LMAO!!! I wish I could put it on a webcam, but I'd choke to death from laughing so hard!!! Why is this working? I don't know. But it must be awfully eccentric for someone to be so severely addicted that they vape 0 mg menthol ... constantly!!! I must appear like a nutcase -- a LOST one at that!!!!!!!!!!!

Could / would your husband build coils for you? Just thinking of ways to open up more options for longevity...
My husband would build a spaceship for me if I asked him to!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But he would make sure it would crash or run out of fuel. Anything to keep me happy!!!

Do you really think I could learn to do this high-tech stuff ... myself? Alone?? Unsupervised??? I am stuck in the era of "If it's not broke, don't fix it." I'd love to learn new tricks, but it is rather intimidating. It took me several years to ride a bike.

But the answer is, absolutely he would.

I got vape mail earlier today. An SMY 60W Mini TC Mod. So far I am really liking it. I got a black one and have it paired with a black Herakles. I love the size just wish the battery lasted a bit longer. Oh well, I have plenty of batteries so will just have to carry a couple extra in my shoulder bag when I go out.

As a retired military cop and retired corrections officer, I get a wonderful discount. They were having a Holloween sale and I got it for almost half off. I can't recommend them enough. Free shipping in the US and really fast friendly service. I am not associated with them other than being a very satisfied customer.

We added a slide so EB can retreat under the porch faster.

Added some woods and redesigned the deck out back.

Keeping the ocean and pool out front. :D (The dog's are not giving that up!)

Hi, Diver9543, I read stuff like your "SMY 60W Mini TC Mod" and I am baffled. I have NO idea what anyone is writing about, but I read every post hoping that I will get it eventually -- like a kind of strange osmosis. I suppose I will have to buy and try because I am curious to know what all these gadgets are like. I bet they would be fun! If I can memorize the periodic table of elements, then why am I having such trouble keeping up with the brave new world of vaping? I don't feel too noble about it, that's for sure.

All the gear you listed earlier is still around, but I'd suggest you move to at least a variable voltage battery. Lets you adjust for different value coils and for different flavors.

But to really plan for the long term, you need to start thinking along the lines of rebuildable toppers and replaceable battery devices. The materials needed then are all common use items, plus a stash of high % nic. Most of us get in at 100 mg, and of course dilute to use. That's the only thing that may become hard to come buy - unless you're using hardware that will become useless when the battery soldered inside finally dies, or the last non-rebuildable topper finally cracks.

Does it matter if I vape 0 mg nicotine? I weened myself off nicotine but still vape the way I used to smoke. I'd love to do this. Please don't laugh, but will I have to learn how to weld? I bet you think I am kidding ... ? I assure you, I am not. I'd love to try many of these things, I just honestly do not know where to begin -- it's as if I don't have a starting/reference point. Do people just teach themselves?

No welding required. :)

So you don't even need to stock nic, it's merely a question of getting as close to self-sufficient as you can. PG and VG will be unaffected, as will resistance wire, cotton or rayon for wick, and lithium batteries. All of those are used in lots of other areas.

Vaping specific things could be banned if they weren't on the market before 2007 - and not much was. That's the snag with built in battery devices, imo. They will eventually cease to work, and if they've been outlawed, will be hard to come by replacements.

Lots of utube vids on making coils, for all sorts of toppers. It's not really hard, and not too much to learn. Some simple safety precautions to learn.

And once we lead you down this path and spend your money on the hardware, at least a few of us here for even more help!

Older Folks and Vaping Front Porch - Part Four

Just a gentle nudge and a reminder.....please read....
I read the quote and all about the origin of this amazing thread. I know I have said this before, but if not for Texas Tumbleweed, I probably would still be smoking. I followed a link that took me to this thread and two weeks later I began vaping. I haven't looked back. I am learning and enjoying it here immensely! I will certainly make a point of remaining on topic. I'm overjoyed at being here. It really is a miracle.
