Me too Myrany ... and after college I don't think I ever had need of knowing Laplace Transformations, Quadradic Equations yet alone Saddle Points or being able to prove 1,000,000,001 follows 1,000,000,000.
You keep using wurds like them..........well the moderations is gonna git ya........

Hi, Diver9543, I read stuff like your "SMY 60W Mini TC mod" and I am baffled. I have NO idea what anyone is writing about, but I read every post hoping that I will get it eventually -- like a kind of strange osmosis. I suppose I will have to buy and try because I am curious to know what all these gadgets are like. I bet they would be fun! If I can memorize the periodic table of elements, then why am I having such trouble keeping up with the brave new world of vaping? I don't feel too noble about it, that's for sure.
Give yourself more credit. As others have said, YouTube is your friend when it comes to building coils. There are many videos available, some really good and then some that make me wonder how people get through life. The SMY I got is Temp Control and can only be used with Ni200 coils. I still haven't ventured into building TC coils, however, I have the proper wire for doing it. I guess I am lazy, I prefer ready made coils while I can afford them. Another thing I like about the SMY mod, it has a clock built in it. I haven't worn a watch in over two years as I always have my cellphone with me. The only thing is that I have to pull it out of my pocket when I want to know the time. However, with the SMY I have it in my hand the majority of the time so it is easy to see what time it is. Yeap, I'm lazy. LOL

I am a huge Peanuts fan! I loved Charles M. Schultz. I grew up reading Charlie Brown books! All of those characters were his best friends! I became very good at drawing them all the time! I thought they were real! He never got to kick that football. sigh. How I miss Peanuts!!!

I watched Charles M. Schultz on American Experience and I was floored. I have never seen such a humble spirit who seemed genuinely SURPRISED that we loved his characters so much! He was just not prepared to hear how the entire country came to a complete halt to watch A Charlie Brown Christmas.
I have always been a fan of Charlie Brown. I saw a commercial last night that showed a new Charlie Brown movie coming out. Oh yea, I will be going to see it. I don't like going to a theatre to watch a movie. The last time I was in a theatre was on a business trip to Logan, UT. I went with a couple other trainers and we watched The Village. Before that, the other time was when Clint Eastwood came out with Unforgiven. I will have to see if I want to go to the theater again. I might check out the new Imax version of the movie.

The first time I read this, I read it as 'a new movie, Charlie Brown coming out'.

Thought to myself 'That would explain a lot..'

:D

OMG that's beautiful!
Welcome to the Porch, vaporgrl! Pull up a rocker, and make yourself at home. And, if you feel up to it, tell us your story. We love a good story!
If they (meaning this new bill) really regulates vaping, then this could make me self-sufficient enough to not have to worry about losing my vape? I can never go back to smoking, ever. I'm afraid of winding up on oxygen again. I'm capable of learning anything I put my mind to especially if it saves lives. Where do I start? Youtube? Has anyone written the definitive guide to vape supplies and gear? I was reading the history of vaping about five years ago and was surprised it had been around for such a long, long time. There has to be a handbook published or being published. Any starting points will be helpful. I am going to need to fill my mind with creative projects that do not require physical activity because I am in for another major surgery that will have me laid up approximately nine months. My husband and I are already shopping for voice recognition programs for the internet. My blind friend is recommending I buy dragon dictate. I will not be able to use my right arm or hand for several months so the more reading and demonstrations, the better. I will still be able to vape! One other person has written to me about changing my current vape setup. Are my materials that antiquated? It's really a matter of lack of knowledge. I would rather acquire knowledge than purchase it. P.S. THANX.
Like others have said, PG, VG, flavorings, wire, and batteries should still be available. Although I'm not sure about tobacco flavorings since I doubt those are used in baking. As long as you have mods with replaceable batteries, rebuildable atomizers, and nic (for those that use it), you should be fine. That and be sure that a couple of your mods are mechanical so you have something to fall back on if everything else breaks.

I've learned most of what I know here, so others will have to post links for you to study in your down time. When I want to learn how to do something and don't see the info on ECF, I eventually remember to just google it or search on youtube.

The gear that you're using now is perfectly good, but not sustainable if the SHTF. You can always stock up on what you're using. But, the replaceable battery mods and RBAs should still be looked into and stashed just in case they become necessary. For all we know, nothing will be outlawed, just the prices shoot through the roof. No one knows for sure.
Just ordered two more. I couldn't resist. A white and a stainless. I added a note with the order that if they ran across a black to ship that instead of the stainless. Hope springs eternal you know.
I'm still tempted to buy a few more. I wonder how many Kayfuns would be a lifetime supply.
<- has a degree in math LOL
Me too Myrany.
I love math! Math is beautiful!

Just placed an order with Perfumer's Apprentice for ten different 4ml bottles of flavor. Need to start experimenting a little more with flavors. Does anybody have a dripper (cheap) that they recommend for trying flavors? Don't really want to be draining and washing/rewicking a Kayfun every time I try a new flavor.
This Mini RDA Squid by SMOKtech Rebuildable Dripper 1.7ohm - SILVER [gv-SMOKtechRDASquid-SILVER] - $6.76 : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more is what I use to test my DIY . Really easy to re wick for a new flavor.

Maybe a quick scan of the first 3 stickies here: New Members Information by Rolygate will help with the current state of names

Then some decisions. If you decide to go replaceable battery, what's more comfortable for you to hold, a tube or a box?

If you decide to go rebuildable, there are types that can also use factory heads, like the Kanger Subtank. So you could use premades while exploring building coils. (And many of the premades can also be rebuilt by the user.... many of us do that as well, to cut costs.) And for FDA-proofing, being able to rebuild your topper is vital!

Getting a mechanical (or 2) in the vapacalypse box is good insurance - I have 3 - but my usual vape is regulated. I like to be able to change the quality of the vape as needed and on the fly. Can't do that with a mech, but with a mech, it's just a container for the battery, a fitting for the topper and a switch. Not much to go wrong. Ever.

In an alternate reality, you and I would have been a good match.

It's funny how many people look at that diagram and freak out. I wonder if the average person looks at their car engine and just thinks 'witchcraft!!!'
Wasn't saying i didn't understand it and not really saying I don't like it. Just that it's to fiddly. Vapes good once you get it set up but, getting it set up perfectly is kind of a pain. :)

Actually if you took great care of it, kept it clean and replaced o-rings as needed, probably could get by with one but, i wouldn't want to have to. Also if you vape different flavors regularly you probably need a few more.

That looks good, might get me one of those.
I also have an Igo-w (dual coil) and an Igo-L (single coil) but this little squid is the easiest for me. I like the fact that I don't have to wind the legs of the coil around those tiny screws.
