I know that they carry other manufacturers (TFA, CAP, INW, etc.), but I don't know about their 'house' flavorings or nic/pg/vg...
In my experience, WL is a first class operation and they do have very good Nic., PG & VG. A little pricier than some places but great packing & shipping that's free over $65. They also pack their glassware better than any place I've seen.

Sorry... can't help on the Kanger coils... I've never even attempted rebuilding a disposable head. :)
No problem there brother! Am I correct in gathering that the COCCs are NOT re-buildable, then?

Geez If I ever get in a disposable head ..... I toss it out before it can contaminate stuff.
   Sometimes I wish my head were disposable. There's things I don't want to know.

I wouldn't go that far... there are a lot of the 'disposable' coil heads that people rebuild. I just don't have the patience for it, and I've been using RDAs and RTAs for a long time now. It may be entirely possible to rebuild the Kanger COCCs, I just don't know anything about them.

If you like TFA go to their website and order the bulk sizes if you have some favorites really cheap. The 4oz sizes 120ml from what I remember are like 6-8 dollars

Maybe I'll check that out. Down the road a bit we might have to do that anyway.

ECX does it as well, their "Signature" line is TFA flavoring.

Yay!!!!

And one Inawera, because they had the only Rhubarb I could find and I really like Rhubarb. That one didn't work out too well.
<<scratches INW rhubarb off my list>>

Quick question to possibly help out another ECFer. Has anybody tried the RBA base on the Nautilus/Kabuki? There is another member here that needs a glass tank to vape banana flavors, and she only has 3 glass tanks. The only one she has available at the moment is the Nautilus, but she doesn't have any coils for it. So she was wondering if the RBA base was any good. If it is, she may order that instead of (or in conjunction with) the standard Nautilus coils.
I think MikeE3 has been playing with em.

My head's been disposable for years now, and jup.....it does contaminate things...... but I'd look really weird without it. :D

For your viewing pleasure:

Just googled up this video, it's pretty good, better than any info I found on the VVTF website or FB page. But its actually from the VVTF company.

It looks quite do-able until you have one of these tiny RBAs in front of you. I really do need to take some comparison pictures so you get a feel for how tiny the working space and screws are.

Did I say she said it's tiny ... well I have to agree.

Next to a KFL deck. Look at how small the grub screw at the top of the VVTF is. Smallest precision screw driver I have could be smaller.

Nauty%20RBA%202_zpsdj1qrebk.jpeg

But it's doable ... 1st coil/install about 30 minutes. I forgot how they did it in the video so I just 'did it'. Will watch the video again before attempting the 2nd one I have. Used 28g Kanthal on a 2mm mandrel (the air hole is a bit bigger than 2mm and def smaller than 2.5mm). Forget how many wraps ... maybe 9? Came out to 1.4Ωs

Nauty%20RBA%201_zps3uapicsq.jpg

Tomorrow I have to sweep the floor (it's a hardwood floor where I work). First coil went boing like a spring trying to get it into position. Mile's is coming tomorrow and I don't want his little foot to find it.
2nd attempt w/ the VVTF Nauty RBA. This time a vertical coil. Considering I've only done 2, I think the vertical may be a bit easier. This one came out on the high side 1.8Ω, was looking for 1.6Ω. (the RBA head is just sitting in the Nauty base crooked for the picture)

Nauty%20RBA%203_zpsfg7oklpa.jpg

I think tying a few midges on size #28 hooks gives me a bit of an advantage. That hooks shank is only about 3mm long.
So I put a rayon wick into the VVTF w/ the vertical coil. Put a piece of rayon behind the coil and a piece in front. Pull them through, cut of the tails and packed it into the chamber. Looked good, what do I know.

4_zpsdhlejdry.jpg

From the side.

13_zpszt1hzxds.jpg

Made vaper when I fired it up. Still looking good.

14_zpssuzuqji2.jpg

But ... the draw was so tight I though I forgot to open the air hole on the Nauty. Nope air hole is open and juice is almost pouring out. What the heck. Tried to blow through the drip tip ... nope could even blow air through it in reverse.

"Light bulb" goes off. I probably pushed rayon under the coil when packing and clogged up the air hole. Tried to push a tooth pick through the wick and into the air hole. Yep ... definitely clogged. I Took a pin, a tiny screw driver and tried to unplug it. Seemed to work. Put it all together and tried again. Nope now it's passing air but flooding like heck. Took the head out again, took the bottom of it off to expose the air tube and pushed the toothpick through from the bottom to the top. Opps has a bunch of rayon strands down in the tube and it clogged the opening again. This time pretty tight. I messed up the coil some trying to ream it out.

So I took all the rayon out. Putzed w/ the coil to unmangle it and reworked w/ KohGenDo cotton. I though it would be easier and faster to use cotton. Had to take care and go slow getting the rayon in place.

Anyway back to trying to vape it. Well I had air flow and a lot of gurgling and flooding. I quit!

Maybe I have to pack in even more cotton to make it harder for the juice to get through the juice opening. It just above the red o-ring in this picture.

5_zpsb2djbdyq.jpg

Ending: I think I took one for the team. I may try again ... but this VVTF is not for the faint of heart yet alone 69 year old eyes. I guess if the FDA came and confiscates all my decent toppers I could get this to work or not:cool:
The only 'non-rebuildable' coil I rebuilt was the Aspire Vivi Nova top coils. Janet and I teamed up on those. I wound and installed the coils and she wicked 'em.

The VVTF is a good idea and I haven't totally given up. It's still laying on my work table and I'll eventually give it another try. My take on the Kabuki is plug and play ... I was looking for something that vaped well that I didn't have to rebuild. I got interested in the VVTF in case the supply of Nauty coils dried up either do to the deeming or Aspire no longer manufacturing them.
News flash ... it has "postibilities". My 1st attemp might have been user error. I took it apart and saw a lot of juice in the base of the Nauty under the coil-head. Remember I was getting a lot of flooding and gurgling. Well the top threads of the VVTF aren't the best and a bit touchy to screw into the post inside the tank.

So when I assembled it I screwed into the tank threads then screwed all that into the base. I don't think it was sealing in the base section properly. I just cleaned it all up and screwed the VVTF into the base then into the tank section.

It seems to be working OK now for a 'first build attempt'. I did have to go to 20 watts not my normal 14 watts to get decent vaper but then the coil Ω is 2.0 not the 1.6Ω I'm used to at 14 watts.

More later ... off to do some grocery shopping w/ Janet now.
@DancingHeretik - next installment re: the VVTF.

I recoiled the second one with another vertical coil. This one is spaced 6 wrap of 28g Kanthal on a 2mm mandrel. It ohm'ed out to 1.23Ωs. Wicked it with not as much KGD as I did the 1st one. This one I'm using w/ a Nauty mini.

It's working really well, comes to temp nicely at 14 watts. Produces a nice amount of vapor w/ good flavor. Even Janet said it tastes real good.

I'm starting to think these 'def' have potential if your willing to strain your eyes finding the slots in those tiny screws. And you'll need a really small size precision screwdriver tip. On set of mine the smallest was still too big.

I'm not sure what's up with the 1st build. It's on a standard size Naugty and even on the largest air hole the draw is not a loose as it should be. Now that the 2nd one is working dang good I'll have to take the 1st one apart and try again w/ it.

I've actually never had a Nauty tank taste so good. Maybe it's the cotton. All my Aspire Nauty coils are still the originals w/ I think silica wicking.
@Dancing: VVTF - The Next Chapter.

I redid the coil on the full size Nauty. It still sucks! It's basically the same build as I have in a Nauty mini that's working fine. I don't know if something is amiss w/ the RBA deck of the Nauty tank. Another time I'll put the 'good' working RBA deck in the full size Nauty tank and try to figure out what's going on.

Just firing the coil w/o the tank on and it's making vapor. But put the tank on and I get gurgling and a juice drops in my mouth - yuck!

@DancingHeretik: VVTF - the Last Chapter

I officially gave up this afternoon. I took the 'working' deck out of the Nauty-mini and tried it w/ a HoH original 510 Kabuki. Well tried is not quite the right word. I never got it to vape.

Actually I never got the VVTF deck to screw into the tube inside the tank. Nope couldn't do it. It always cross-threaded and wound up crooked when it was too tight to turn w/ my fingers. I even took the glass tank off and tried and tried and tried just screwing the deck in the upper tube. I could not get it to go in correctly. I think because the deck only has 1/2 a circumference of threads to get started it just won't engage the tube's threads properly when the lower 1/2 of the threads begin contact w/ the tube threads.

I have no problem w/ Nauty heads and the Kabuki and the VVTF deck screws into the Nauty tank tube section OK ... but no way could I get the VVTF deck screwed into the Kabuki's upper tube.

Don't know yet how I'm gonna handle feedback on the Ebay purchase. Maybe neutral saying it fits a Nauty OK but not a Kabuki. Although the Ebay ad specifically mentions the Kabuki.

Maybe it will fit the FT clones I'm waiting on. So there might be an 'Afterward' to follow the Last Chapter.

While I do occasionally enjoy a nice rhubarb pie, imo vaping it would be right up there with bacon.....

I have never been able to vape anything that I would not eat, drink, or even have in the house cooking.

Maybe I should say I would not try anything that falls in that category, but there also several things that do fall into that category but I still would not vape them - You just mentioned two on that list...

I've found a few things that I don't really care to eat, but I like to vape. Honeydew is on that list. Found a lotta things that I love to eat, but don't like in a vape. Anything with very much cinnamon at all. I love cinnamon! But vaping it feels like I've breathed in a handful on cinnamon and it's stuck to the back of my throat. Now that I'm using a different build, I do need to try it again. Really liked Gracie's churro juice at the odyssey!

I never thought about that. But my 3 favorites at the moment are Crème De Menthe, Banana Nut Bread, and Ginger Ale, and I love all 3 outside of vaping. Can't think of anything I've enjoyed vaping that I didn't like to eat or drink. Lots of stuff I like to eat and drink that didn't work out for vaping though.

Earl Grey tea is one of my favorite things. But I've been trying for a while now to get a good Earl Grey vape recipe figured out. It's not bad with equal parts honey but still not quite there.

I just became an Ultra Member today. 1000 posts.

My rise to the top is proceeding on schedule. Soon I'll start moving up through the ranks of moderator and then admin. My master plan is to become ECF Founder by 2020. When that happens I'll remember all you Front Porch folks who helped me on my way up.

Seriously, this thread is where I mainly hang out these days. All the politics and deeming stuff has worn me out and this area is still a fun place.

Are the Kanger COCC coils re-buildable? Anybody.........???
What is a COCC? I googled it, and no can find. Mayhap my googlefu is lacking...

The SSOCCs can be rebuilt, tho I don't know why anyone would bother. You can just get a subtank mini and use the rebuildable deck that comes with it.

Man I passed up a new computer at Best Buy Flash sale. Same as mine HP 17.3" I5processor, 1TB HD, 8GB ram $399. Well maybe they will even be cheaper. Oh and Win10 already installed so everything should work with it. 3 USB ports, HDMI, CD DVD burner. I didn't want to get another HP though. Don't think they are made to well anymore the one I'm using is an older HP and works fine. Now to the vape stuff if I bought 10 I would have to get rid of 6 or 7. Will they let you sell clones on the classies?

No. Well actually they draw a fine line between counterfeits and clones. The rule is 'No Counterfeits'.

Could we set up a group buy for 10? Anyone interested?

Sent from my LG-V700 using Tapatalk

Careful ... you're on the edge of breaking an ECF rule. You can only talk about and organize group buys in the Co-op forum area of ECF.

Well I have been away from ECF for several years, came back to see what was up with FDA, now I'm here for the duration and stocking up on everything! LOL Shopping till I drop :)

Welcome back and welcome to the front porch. Glad you found your way here. So what are you vaping and what are you stocking up on?

Quick question to possibly help out another ECFer. Has anybody tried the RBA base on the Nautilus/Kabuki? Dancing nicely summed up my posts. My recommendation is NO don't get the VVTF RBA base for the Nauty/Kabuki. You need good experience rebuilding, eye sight better than an Eagles, the pateince of a saint and then you may, just may get it working satisfactorily. I did get one working OK in a Nauty but I'll not be doing it again. As for the Kabuki ... it's extremely touchy to get it to threaded into the Kabuki chimney ... it can be done but not easily. It screws into the Nauty chimney OK ... but a real pain to get it right in a Kabuki.

For your viewing pleasure:

Thanks Dancing for bringing my posts together for "K".
