I just tasted mine too and yep, it is sweet but not the kind of saccharine sweet that sticks with me. It is kinda bitter sweet and it seems the bitter sticks around on the tongue a bit longer than the sweet.

Well you made me do it. I just went and tasted my PG and it is sweet also. When I used it to make juice it was fine. It's real sweet but the taste goes away really fast.

What kind is y'all's? Palm or soy?

All this talk about storage has got me thinking. There are a few flavors that I am going to miss as time goes on, but I will enjoy them while they last...

Semi, I asked OSDIY about long term storage of flavors and was told, "Over 6 months - glass bottles (I presume UV inhibiting colors or coatings) and cool room temperature - do not freeze. Refrigeration is "ok" if you're in a hot climate & don't have AC." Hope this helps.

They send mine in glass with a funky little stopper thingie in the top. Not sure how to use it. I found the spot to stick the needle in but it's hard to pull liquid out, so I take the stopper out.

Kinda makes me wonder, if you're making a tobacco flavor, you don't even want slightly sweet. How would it be possible if the PG is that sweet?

I know! That funky little stopper is weird, isn't it? I do the same with the smaller size bottles from them but the pint bottles ( ) are plastic with flat top screw caps, so no problem there. (Told ya I was "stocking up" )

Man garyoa1, I don't know what to think about your sweetness issue. I think you and me and Jack need to sit down and figure it out. It may take a day or two but I'm sure that between the three of us we'll figure out sumthin'.

All I know is, mixed up a small batch of juice, added 1.5ml of this pg... everything got cloudy. I may just quit vaping and get drunk.

Gary, just gotta say your experience is sooo counter to da majority! Have ya recently changed your diet/meds/adult beverage? I do ask this in all sincerity!

As to freezing any DIY component other dan nic, I'm not interested whatsoever! In fact, I don't even freeze my nic... no need thus far after five+ years of DIY...

Someone suggested that I cap and shake between each addition. So now I add my flavoring (some mixes use several different flavors) cap and shake. I then add my nic, cap and shake and then finish off with my pg/vg base. Now that I do it this way I've not encountered the cloudy mix again.

First ophph, what cap do ya wear? And as fer your shake...

OTOH, I'll also admit dat we males may do likewise...

Noap. Nuttin unusual or different. (outside o' da normal dain bramage) But didn't have this problem with the first PG I ever used. Than again, never tasted it til now since I had that odd smell with one. And some here are saying the flavor is all over da map.

Being married to a Filipino - I have learned that when she says sweet - get ready to pucker your lips and if she says sour - do not touch it...

I figure now that we've all spent a bunch of money stocking up on vape gear, things are going to start breaking around the house. I saw where someone was talking about the pump for their well going out a couple days ago, your air conditioning has gone out, and last night my TV died. Picture just turned black and stayed that way. Went out this morning and bought a 40-inch, 1080P HDTV for $250. Like most things in American commerce these days, it was made in China.
