Yeah, the PG is super sweet by tasting it. But most are saying their's are sweet but not "that" sweet.
Ok, you made me get up & go check mine. It's a bit sweet. A strange sweet though. Not like sugar or anything. More like you would get from a vaguely sweetish fruit. Strawberries straight off the vine are like that to me. Just a sense of sweetish flavor. Or any under ripe fruit. You can tell it has potential to be sweet, but it's not there yet. No odor.

Great idea, FT! Couple or so porchers to contact and see who's in need at that time. :thumb:
It wasn't just that but who would be able to transport it legally, or willing to take the chance, with all the state regulations. I told my husband a common friend of ours should get all my stuff, he can decide where what he doesn't want should go. You are the backup/co recipient. He doesn't know it yet, now you do. Don't plan on going anywhere but the universe often has other plans. I want to help people, not bleed them dry. You two are geologically the closest and I trust both of you. I trust many other people here but don't know that it can be transported safely to them.
Paradise? I do not think so.

Whatever tourists you may have did not even put a dent to the hordes we have here. So many of them that the idiots think the highway is just a wide sidewalk.
Do what we do, run them over at 70mph (speed limit 55 here). That's what they do to our local wildlife, until they get into the park where they screech on the brakes to take pictures of what what they murdered 15 miles back without ever slowing down. Your mongoose are fast, our wildlife isn't as quick. Been to HI, you have my complete sympathy. Stay strong, up your nic.

Actually, I thought tourism dropped off in the summer there. What's wrong with your tourists? Oh wait, they're tourists. :(
Really ECF? Editing a perfectly innocent rda name? VVanco (had to put two 'V's together to make a 'W')
Probably has to do with the spam attack a while back. A bunch of oddball words were banned. It was a good, yet awkward, ban. At least the link worked.
Kazz get the TObeco one. I have 2 Kayfun clones from fasttech and both rust HORRIBLY.
Mine have pretty much totally rusted out. It started with the holes the various screws go into (Airflow, posts, fill hole) and just got worse from there.

So my attitude is proceed at your own risk.
I've ordered three SS bowls for El Whacko and keep getting the cheap crap from China that rusts. I'm fed up with it. I don't care if I pay twice as much for a decent 5 qt. bowl, I just want something that is safe for him. I'd expect the same from an atty. If any of you get an inferior product, please give a url so we can avoid it. Please.
Hey, Mike - you have until the end of the month to invent it... Get cracking...:lol::D

Oh, and it has to be multi-threaded so it will into all existing tanks... You would be the savior of the entire industry...
Multi threaded, love it! That would actually be cool. Buy the proper base, use any coil. :)
I thought about doing that when I first got into DIY, with the PG and VG. I don't make as much eliquids as often as most do, so I ordered a couple cases of (72) Amber HDPE 150mL and 250mL bottles with leakproof caps. Got 'em from a plastics supplier for the medical, laboratory, and scientifc fields, that a friend works at. So they're not your usual cheaply-made HDPE bottles. They had to meet rigid specs. Got them as Overstocks at a great price compared to normal cost! I think I'll use some of those & break my gallons of PG & VG down into them like you did. Should help, shouldn't it?

PS. I just double-checked the specs on them and it says:
• Leakproof • For light sensitive materials • FDA compliant resin • Rigid • Black Polypropylene closure
These have excellent chemical resistance and are suitable for sampling and storage of sensitive materials.
Bulk case - contains a single bag of bottles with a separate bag of closures.
Temp. Rating: minimum continuous -148 degrees F/-100 degrees C to maximum continuous heated 230 degrees F/110 degrees C
Nothing wrong with that. However, I've read that "plastic" can allow air in. Also, a very few of us can taste the plastic leaching out from those bottles. Not knocking you for it, just thought it should be mentioned.
Yea, I would have expected a pic like that more from Iffy than Legs... :)
Me too!
My final order is being delivered today - no more stocking up (unless there just happens to be a sale I cannot pass up on)...
Um-hum. How long will that last? I give you a week. :D
As in "ooo, that will look nice in my stash box!"
Have very small but pretty stash box. Unfortunately I realize I won't use most of the pretty stuff. At least it was really cheap. :D

I just tasted mine too :D and yep, it is sweet but not the kind of saccharine sweet that sticks with me. It is kinda bitter sweet and it seems the bitter sticks around on the tongue a bit longer than the sweet.
Exactly how mine is. Bought from Tractor Supply.
Mine's sickening sweet.
Gary, is it possible that you're sensitive to the chemical that makes it taste sweet? I can acutely taste plastic from some tanks, drip tips, bottles where other people can't detect it at all. Also, can you taste it when it's vaped?
Put the beer down and back slowly away from the keyboard.
As we all know with vaping - taste is very subjective...

Being married to a Filipino - I have learned that when she says sweet - get ready to pucker your lips and if she says sour - do not touch it...
Try marrying someone close to the equator. When it's "mild," it's a trip to the emergency room. If it's "hot," you won't survive no matter how little you ingest.
I figure now that we've all spent a bunch of money stocking up on vape gear, things are going to start breaking around the house. I saw where someone was talking about the pump for their well going out a couple days ago, your air conditioning has gone out, and last night my TV died. Picture just turned black and stayed that way. Went out this morning and bought a 40-inch, 1080P HDTV for $250. Like most things in American commerce these days, it was made in China.
Some stuff made in China is great and may be our last savior, but did I mention how much I loath most stuff made in China? That's not even getting into their ethical practices.
Shhhhhhhhhhhh!! Oh wait, this ism't my house, I don't care if their tv breaks. They left me with 3 hump crazy dogs with stinky breath that, unfortunately, I love.
Glad you love them, more glad El Whacko isn't the humpy type. :D
And the big TV just died.
I wonder exactly how long I'm gonna have to stay in bed til this goes away.
TV virus? We have a backup for our backup TV-wise but you guys are scaring me. Somebody tell me there's not a mod virus going around.

Hoo nose? Well gotta remember. There's a few "types" of PG out there. I asssume vape places sell food grade. But there are some that are animal grade and at least one or two more types.

Reading up. Seems Samsung has a capacitor problem. Not that unusual. But have a few tv's. Of course the little one's are ok. The 55" died. And of course on a weekend so can't even call anyone.

Hey, I may be an "older folk", but I'm not THAT old! :w00t:

So far, I've not heard / read anything that says transport or possession of private property will be restricted. Sale and subsequent transport, yeah. But they'd have one heck of a time and loud noises from everyone, not just vapers, if they started inspecting every package sent from one private citizen to another, even if they did try to impose such a ban. Just think what that would do around Christmas!!

Yes, there is ransomware designed for smart TVs now.

And it's funny that this topic was mentioned. I was thinking about this the other day on how could I infect programmable mods to do the unthinkable as soon as the person pressed the fire button. One of my jobs when I was active duty was security (including anti-terrorism). It was fun dreaming up ways to create mayhem, and then draft/implement procedures to mitigate those threats.

In the case of programmable mods, depending on what the chipset controlled, I don't think it would be too much of a stretch to design malware to cause the mod to go "thermal" at the press of the fire button. And as most vapers are trusting of other vapers, one could easily go around posting a file that some would install in a heart beat. Hell, if I wanted to go whole hog, I'd break into the manufacturer's system and plant the infected file there for maximum effect.

Something to think about when you're eyeing that new shiny.

Yeah, coming closer since there are mods out there that you can set via bluetooth.

OTA (over the air) updates just makes it that much easier. Let's face it, the folks that are designing these mods and chipsets aren't thinking about security. They're thinking about the "gee whiz" features that the updates will provide.

Nice cheery topic for a Sunday morning. Geez. Just don't hack my programmable coffee pot.

Programmable coffee pots were essential to me before I retired. Prepped the night before, fresh coffee waiting when I got up for work. Now, not so much :)

Oh no! Do not encourage the dogs! It finally slacked off yesterday. That rescued little girl has a big surprise coming. The boys have already been surprised fortunately. I wanted a smoke & a shower when I got home!

We've been retired a bunch of years but some live long habits hang around ... still like the coffee ready when we come downstairs in the morning.

Some fun Sunday reading for y'all.

FLocker Mobile Ransomware Crosses to Smart TV - TrendLabs Security Intelligence Blog

And before you start laughing at the actual ransom, bear in mind that there are sites that specialize in the redemption of gift cards for cash. Some actually pay out rather well.

Wow ... you're just full of cheerfull news today.
