Sorry Ken, just got back from our G-dughter's 7th BD party.

Was dis gathering 'nother joose fest? What did ya pick up today? Any decent deals?
It was about half and half this year, with a good presentation on stage about advocacy.
I got a coiling set and a new mod

Not a chance in hell I'm revisiting that post. Away from home, computer that puts up letters randomly and also moves the cursor to some obscure location mid word. :grr:
I don't think it's your computer. I'm having the same problem. Not sure if it's not the board or a combination of the board and my browser software. I'll be typing along just fine and all of a sudden I'm up in the middle of what I quoted and overtyping whatever is there. Big pain in the backside.

    Ken, what's the mod?
Off hand, I would have to call it a
    Mini E LVT A.JPEG

    made by
    Mini E LVT B.JPEG

but that is just my guess, since I'm going by the words on the package.

    Mini E-LVT by Dovpo.

It is a temp control mod, but since I don't do temp control, I'm not using that part of it. Just regular wattage.

So now that you've got the coil kit, you going to be making house calls to repair/build coils for folks? Pretty snazzy.

As to the mod, looks like something Bones from Star Trek would carry and point at people to diagnose / fix 'em up.

It looks almost exactly like my Heatvape Invader Mini, which is also a TC mod (that works poorly in TC mode). It works just fine in wattage mode.

Glad to hear hardware gained sum floor space!

    Nice kit! IYDM, price?

Ya sure ya couldn't dupe dat Mini E-LVT wid your 3D printer, assuming an in-house material price break?

Hopefully we all can meet up on da next 'semi-local' convention!

    Big pain in the backside.

    Switch cheeks...

only difference I can see is the top.. The rest all looks alike.
The Orlando vape convention does not allow clones.. This was $65 At a 20% discount...
    Is yours also a Dovpo?

kit was only $45 at the convention... Not a bad price for what you get in a canvas case.

No, it's a Heatvape. I got it around 6 months ago when it first came out. Even if your Dovpo was identical (minor difference at the top due to a rational complaint by Phil Busardo), it wouldn't technically be a clone, since the name is different. For all I know, Heatvape and Dovpo could be the same company.

Nice looking kit. But 24 ga?! I mostly use 30 ga, but am thinking of buying some 28 ga also.

Still, a very nice kit. Enjoy!

And I rebuild single bottom coils with 32 :)

Yep, a good travel kit needs multiple gauges.
I like 30 for the bottom single coils. And about .5 mm larger diameter than stock at 2mm with wick slots widened to 2mm as well. Kanger coils.

We were waiting for our car outside the baggage claim area of the Phila airport recently when a young man came up to us and asked how vaping was working out for us. We told him great and that our 45 year smoking habit ended 4 years ago when we found vaping. He said his 70 year old grandfather started vaping a year ago after smoking since he was 14 years old and hasn't had a cigarette since. He feels great and is very happy. How nice! The word is spreading so fast that we're not only spotting vapers in the wild much more often these days, but people are so happy about it they even seek each other out to confirm the good news.
The only people I seem to convert are those with a brain; they never smoked but bought into the crap that vaping is bad. We need all the allies we can get so I'm not sorry about that. The person I desperately want to help is the neighbor in the hospital in intensive care. he got his breathing tube out today. I want him to live for his wife, children, grandchild and future grandchildren. And I want him to be able to help his son quit. That's not asking much, right?
hey hun, are you on a laptop and using a mouse? I was having a problem where the cursor would jump to another spot, while I was typing, highlight stuff, and of course it was so quick, I'd type another letter and it would all delete. Fixed it by setting the touch pad to turn off anytime the mouse was plugged in. Dunno if that is your issue or not, but hope so, cuz that was a simple fix that I stumbled on purely by accident.
That's what I thought it might be too. It's my husband's laptop though, they're attached at the hip, oil and water and all that. Personally, I think it's the same old control issues. (And the cursor just disappeared somewhere during the last sentence and inserted text somewhere around here. Sorry everybody. :()

Nice, very nice. :thumb: I thouht a kit like that as a waste, until my husband kept, and still does, running off with my great grandfather's needlenose pliers. He has a large tool chest stuffed full of tools and he has to steal mine? What is it with you guys? :grr:

I was ready to believe Deb, but it does it when the mouse is unplugged. Tomorrow night I'll have my beloved computer back! Halleluiah! :nun: (No offense intended.) The next day, El Whacko comes home! :rickroll:  I mean,.
Ergo, my lifetime ban from Karaoke...
Why does this not surprise me?

I gave away my ego batteries and threw away the other stuff just the other day. Had several Vivi Nova tanks that I couldn't remember where I bought and had refills for that didn't fit so off they went. Using a homemade SX350 device, an IPV3 and now a Istick TC40W. Have no desire to go back.
Just bought an iStick TC40W, but waiting for the TC coils. In the meantime, it works fine as an upgrade in VW mode. Fires anything I stick on it with the Kanger sub tanks. MFS has older tanks on clearance now really cheap. (As little as under $2 for the SMOK tanks, etc....) For folks on a budget, MFS clearance section of their site is a neat place to browse.

I don't know what devices are being used by those who are having problems with the cursor skipping around, highlighting stuff, replacing existing text, etc.

However, I do know it's a common problem. With me, it's been with a netbook and a laptop until I learned the "fixes". I suggest doing a Google search for "unintended cursor movement [insert your device name]". On YouTube there are cures for dozens upon dozens of different devices that have this problem.

Thanks, Bells. Husband's computer, think he has windows 8 and has been trying to update it. Not working, not my problem until we visit my parents. Parents have Vista (?), that just sucks, but he's 92 so keep my mouth shut. I'm just grateful he lets me use it.

Tonight I watched my 92 yo father teach my 93 yo mother research her meds online. She won't retain any of the information, but it was still heartwarming. About 30 (35?) years ago, my computer class was trying to wrap our brains around the concept that everybody would have a computer that fit on a desk with the wisdom of the world at our fingertips. Who knew that it would lead to a "cure" to smoking that actually worked?
Anyway. I'll look it before we come up here again, just don't hold your breath.

I think that in order to find the specific remedy the brand and model of the computer are likely to be more important than the operating system. The cures I found were model-specific. Straightening out my NB505 Toshiba netbook was quite different from straightening out my Inspiron 15 Dell laptop, even though both had the same problem.
