I use mine on my 20w istick for most of my out & about. It fits in my little crossbody bag in the pocket I keep my phone in. I leave that pocket unzipped just enough to slide the device out or back in. The Hana's will fit in the bigger pocket the same way, but are heavier, & a litle awkward when driving. I want to find a good deal on a 30w istick.
The Istick TC40W is available for less than $30 lots of places. I now have 2 and really like them. They're tiny as far as I know. Really pocketable (I think that's a word). Highly recommended even if you never use the temperature control features.

As an ole timer myself, I still find myself wanting to try new things, it seems to never ends !!! I have tried ( And this is a rough estimate) probably in the neighborhood of 5-600 different eliquids.. My new search is for coffee flavors,,I dont really like extremely sweet liquids but slight sweetness is ok.. Also not wanting anything caramel based.. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated...

Regards,Harley.....
There is this thread, Baditude seems to be a bit of a coffee connoisseur. I think everyone is looking for the perfect coffee vape. https://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/threads/best-coffee-e-liquid.676293/

Kenna how great! We live about a mile from the grounds at the fire station where they have that every year. My husbands great grandfather founded that town. He had a gulf station on the corner where fraleys is now, cate-corner, to fraleys, his name was Mr. Charleston. Everyone who lives in Midway knows who he was or knew him. He lived to be 102 but passed in 2005. He was full blooded Cherokee, his grandma just passed two weeks ago at 89. She was very well known also. Sorry if I've put this in the wrong thread. I can't find the back porch
Lol. I'm a ditzy brownish blond hehehe...what a small world!
Isn't that gulf station building still there? Lol, I know exactly where you are talking about! Amazing isn't it?

Good evening my friendly vaperers..lol...i. like being called that and not...uh...smoker!!! Even though i still am, i have stopped an extra pack a day! Did some vaping today, but i still have trouble relating it to a cigarette. i am searching around the forum, oh my, we have so much to read here and learn. I'm looking forward to all of it. Has there been any new information on the ruling, i looked for it in news, but not much to see??

I hope all my fellow Texanshave not had alot of rain today, i know central texas was hammer ed on today, and after the rain last weekend, it was is bad...:( it barely missed our farmup in midway. Thank heavens! Im hoping tomorrow brings only lil bitty amounts of water to us.

Have a wonderful evening!! *:)
Had that problem for a while too; vaping isn't like smoking a cig. Ran across a thread where people were talking about what they missed most about smoking. I realized what was most important to me about smoking, what relieved the stress/tension, was the sensation of inhaling the smoke and exhaling it. I concentrated on that and it helped a lot but everyone is different. The hardest thing to get used to, for me, still, is you don't get that immediate buzz-saw punch between the eyes when the nic immediately hits you when lighting up. I still have to remind myself that that sensation is BT's chemical manipulation of the cigarette and I'm not going back to their products, ever, just for that instant gratification feeling.

You've doing very well, just hang in there and you will find that magic combination that works for you.
Vaping is not exactly the same as smoking. It's close, but different so you really shouldn't dwell on relating the vape to smoking. It's it's own experience. It's just going to take some time to get used to it. Although I quit smoking immediately (still am amazed that happened) many people continue to smoke while they vape and gradually come to the point where they realize they enjoy vaping better than smoking. Just keep in mind that reducing the number of cigarettes you DON'T smoke is a victory in itself.

In the beginning my thoughts were grounded in how much I loved smoking, but hated what it was doing to my body. I started vaping to help me at least cut down, fully expecting to be a smoker for the rest of my life. Vaping was close enough that I thought it just might work. There were no panic feelings of not being able to smoke if I wanted to but I kept the open pack of cigarettes on the fridge - just in case. About 6 months later I finally tossed them. Just relax and let the journey unfold. Enjoy the ride, it's interesting and there will be some pleasant surprises along the way.
Excellent post!
I smoked a pack and half a day (more on weekends) for 40 years. Wow, it was getting expensive. I went through a carton every 5 days or so. It was close to $60 a carton. $360 a month, up in smoke, literally. It was over 5 years ago when I started hearing about these new fangled electronic cigarettes. Did a bunch of online research and ordered an EGO kit and some juice.

I remember the day it arrived. July 22, 2010. Two 600Ma batteries, a few atomizers and tips. Charged them up, added juice, and started vaping. That was my last day on cigarettes. Haven't had one since. Of course, I have upgraded to 1100Ma batteries, and progressed to DCT tanks and 1.7 ohm prepunched cartos, but I'm still using the EGO style batteries. Tried a few of the early mods, like the Rough Stack and the Bolt, but the switches always failed.

Seems like now, the government is trying to get me to switch back to cigarettes by banning online sales and taxing and regulating e-cig products and juice.
Sigh, what am I going to do with my Uncle Sam. He should be in a rest home, LOL. He's not thinking straight. Alzheimer's or something.
If Uncle Sam had gotten some of that nicotine into his system every day, he might not have such severe Alzheimer's symptoms right now.
Just one more old geezer lurkin' on the thread. Was a smoker for 56 years,I started at the ripe old age of 8, been vaping for 4 . So howdy from the Texas panhandle, my name is Butch.:vapor:
Eight years old? You beat me by four years.

Butch, Bozzlite and Harley - Welcome to the Porch, where I'm sure you've already guessed we love to make merry (and spend your money).

Does anyone have a pic of a size comparison with the 20w?

Yep, what Matt said. Look around for an iStick TC40. I don't have a picture handy but it's just a wee bit bigger than the iStick 20 and a full size topper like the KFL doesn't hang over at all.

Looking at the frontrunners on the presidential candidates list, I don't think it is just Uncle Sam's problem. Seems like Alzheimer's is very common among those polled.

the 2 Kayfuns I ordered from Vapor Range arrived today. YEAH!!!! They have both been soaked and scrubbed, drying overnight. Then tomorrow I get to build my new toys!! I do already have 1 Kayfun (Lite V2, same thing) and a mini Kayfun and although I don't care for them out and about (not real pocket friendly), I do love them for around the house. The flavor is fantastic!!

I do not pocket carry any of my KFL equipped PVs. I use a belt clipped cell phone case (box mods) or a maglight holder (tube mods) and I've never had an issue.:)

Kayfuns are not at all pocket friendly. I had my kayfun unscrew off my provari and fall on the ground as I was walking, luckily my dog noticed it and stopped to see what the sound was that I didn't hear. A second time I must of bent over and the tank came apart then 4mls juice in my pocket...what a mess, it looked like I pizzed myself. I now carry my kayfun in a mech sleeve in my pocket when we walk and have had no accidents since. I set my provari/kayfun in a heavy glass upright at work or it would have been broken eons ago.
I'm finding a twisted 30 gauge spaced coil on a 3mm bolt, 1.2 ohms works great in my kayfuns. It takes a couple try's to make the twisted wire behave(pull both ends with pliers while its on the bolt to tighten the wraps up) but once set I can get more vape time than a single wire build.

I am a totally dedicated tootle puffer. I tried the wire winding rebuilds, the subohm, the pancake wicking, the dryburning, but all that stuff is in the FDA apocalypse drawer. I now have 15 Aspire Naughty toppers all 1.6 ohm, plenty of replacement coils & a very satisfied smile on my face. I had enough wireing to last foreever before I retired.
Did you say DYI juice.........bwahhhhhhhhhh

I am in the process of filling a 17 cu. ft. freezer with premix.

When I was a kid and my mother sent me into Fedmart to buy her cigarettes, they were only 35 cents a pack. Years later, I swore I'ld quit when they got to over $1 a pack. By the time I quit, I was spending $300 a month.
I did exactly the same: said I'd quit before paying $1 a pack. First time I broke that promise to myself was when I ran out of cigarettes on a 1975 or early 1976 night skiing trip to Great Gorge ski area. I felt like I was being robbed but put $1.25 in a cigarette machine there. They were still only about $0.75 everywhere else in NJ.

At that time, I always had a cigarette in my mouth. Skiing, playing tennis, driving, eating... didn't matter... always a cigarette going.

Happy Halloween Kenna and All! I still keep getting the front and back porch mixed up. Could someone start a Patio or fire escape? I'm dyslexic as can be and get lost, but thank goodness the members are the same!!! Well, mostly anyway! :)

Husband and I are on vacation all this week, but I look forward to catching up with you and the group. Have fun in TX!!!
