OK - here is mine all done.

I will probably spend a few days re-aranging PVs and slots to get just the right look for me... Then change it up every once in a while, just because I can :D

Now you need to think of something to hold flavoring bottles to pull from while mixing. So they don't fall over.

When I was using nickel I liked the 28awg I was shooting for .08ohm so I used 5 wraps 3mm and just hand wrapped it spaced then pushed it together and would come out fine. It doesn't have to be perfect for a .1 with 28 would be about 7-8 wraps. Always had good luck doing it that way. With the SX .08 worked great but some of the others require at least a .1. 28awg makes it so you don't have to have so many wraps. 26awg you have to go 11 wraps at 3mm but 28 worked great for me.

Yepper, it's a grand feeling knowing you're being proactive!

Hey hey, I got vape mail. My flavors came in while I was napping this afternoon. Already mixed a batch of strawberry ripe and am steeping it in hot water. Couple of shakes and steeps and it'll be ready to vape.

Matt,

Must say dat I still get a gleeful chuckle from da folk dat show enthusiasm anticipating 'new' possible adventures; regardless of how long they're 'bakky free!

Our vaping world is constantly expanding. But it's still fun to relish our own lil' room of possibilities!

Hi to you all! I am new to the forum and was glad to see this discussion. I am "over 55" and been cig free for 11 whole days! Smoked 40 years, non-stop. Got off by using a cigalike and am ready for more battery power, so going shopping tomorrow. Hope I can understand the kids in the vape shop as they try to explain it all to me. I have read a bunch, and youtubed-ed a lot to try to understand what my next step should be. Also the newbie discussion here on the forum has been helpful. Going for the Ego type next, I guess......but not gonna light a cig, that's for sure!
Welcome Liz, you have arrived at one of the two best places on ECF. The back porch is the other. Congrats on your 11, well, now 12 days analog free.

Today, Friday the 13th of Nov 2015, makes 1000 days since I had my last cigarette. Thanks to vaping!
Hey, Dave, congrats on 1,000 days. You need to get an FPV racer drone to celebrate.

Mind me asking for a recipe. Orange is one of the flavors I'm looking to try.
Don't have an Orange, Matt. Most of mine are adaptions from the recipes in the ejuice Me Up and others people.

I've been thinking of trying spaced microcoils (1.5-1.9mm ID) but am not sure what application would benefit from them.

I went from 2mm contact, to 2.5mm contact, and now I use 2.5mm spaced. The spaced coils seem to gunk up slower. I don't really see a difference or taste a difference in vape ... just longer time between cleaning and rewicking.

I tend to get about 60 ml of Vanilla custard sweetened with Stevia between rewickings in my T3's. I use spaced 30 ga 2 mm 1.6 ohm coils.
When I rewick I lightly dry burn them twice with dipping in water after heating.
It boils the crud off leaving them clean.
Running several months on my coils so far.
No burned insulators yet either. Since I learned that one time ;)

My like button is not working... had to skim some posts to catch up after a long, busy, good day. Posted why on the back porch ( Geordi and I did good). But what I will duplicate post here is I saw a friend tonight I only see once or twice a year. 2 years ago I told her about vaping (she was smoking a cigarette). Last year I saw her with an ego type battery and a clearo, vaping away! We chatted, and she was a convert and thanked me. Tonight, she was sporting an iStick and a tank (didn't really get to talk), and I said "Still vaping? Fantastic!" as I pulled out my mod and took a vape. She said "Yes, 1 1/2 years, and it's all because of YOU!". It was a good day.

Hey, how about sharing the recipe. Vanilla is one of my favorites, just haven't found a good DIY recipe.

I just replaced the rayon wick in my titanium coil after 6 weeks of use. I really should have replaced it 10 days ago when I cleaned it but didn't replace it. It's been gurglish since that cleaning.

I mean, what good is a wicking material if it only lasts a little more than 4 good weeks before it needs to be replaced?

On the other hand, the titanium coil is still going strong 6 weeks in.

You prolly won't like it but it is simple. Too weak for most people, but I likes it.
CAP Vanilla Custard V1 1.5 ML
CAP Vanilla Whipped Cream .3 ml
Stevia 5 drops
1.5 ml 100 mg nic.
50/50 PG/VG 26.7 ml

Going to try new variations soon.
Maybe a touch of eggnog?
Some other cream flavoring?

This is the topper I'm using with temperature control. It's the Eleaf GS Tank. It came with the Istick TC40W I won in the contest. Normally. The tanks that the manufacturer throws in these bundles aren't so good but, I really like this one. It has a 0.15 ohm NI200 cartridge in it and adjustable airflow. The vape is great and the airflow can be adjusted from very similar to a Kayfun to all the way open and airy. I'm going to order some more heads for it today. Hopefully it will stand up to use. Only real problem I see with is that it doesn't have a rebuildable deck available as far as I can tell.
