I also found out that SS430 has less nickel content then 304 so I think that is the one I'm going to try.
I like using 26 AWG regardless of wire composition. I have 26 gauge Kanthal, Titanium and SS 304. Nickel 200 too, but the nickel wire is destined for use as baling wire.
I also think that 24 would be good Dave. I think the only 28 I would ever use is Kanthal. I have a bunch of that baling wire also. Nickel, NiFe. I'm either going to go with the 24awg Ti or Unkamen which measures out at .42 so excellent fit in the old STM. Might try 24 SS430 unless I get it from Unk also.

My vapemail from yesterday. On top of the Reuleaux DNA 200 mod are replacement parts from fasttech that are compatible and interchangeable with the Kanger Subtank. The fasttech tank fills from the top and holds over 7 ml. Me likey being able to refill from the top.

Just my opinion, wire-chaser: skip the SS wire. I don't think you're going to like it any more than you liked NiFe wire.

SS wire is decent but not excellent, and I believe I'm going back to titanium, which produces a better vape. It was the supposed safety of SS that made me try it, but there's a definite drop-off of vape quality compared to titanium.

I'll amend the comment I just made about SS coils in TC mode: My SS 304 coil is producing a quite satisfying and tasty vape right now, after soaking in Everclear. No, I didn't soak the coil, I soaked the user.

I'd be happy to stick 10' of SS 304 wire in an envelope and mail it to ya, Legs, if you want. I have it in 24 gauge, 26 gauge and 190 proof 28 gauge.

Vape mail arrived today! I received my Cyber Monday order. A Uwell Crown Sub-Ohm Tank Kit plus a couple boxes of the .15 Ni200 coils. I also received the Tobeco Chi You Megan Mechanical Mod. That now makes 3 Mechs that I have and I love each one of them.
kewl!!!

Nothing outstanding, just some new batteries and a skin for my ipv3
that's kewl, I think Wolfy has one of those, can't remember which mod it's on though.

How is everyone ?

I was too lazy to read posts and will just assume all are good. :)
speak of the devil, hiya hun. Hope you're doing good also! fine here.

We tease about swiping but I have no claim on it. I found those stats overwhelming, as I do every year, just like 9/11, and I hope you spread it far and wide. Please, do take it it and run with it. How many people care these days? I've seen people on ECF say that folks ought to get over the use of the swastika on vape gear since it was so long ago. It's not so long ago for them, their children, grandchildren, great grandchildren.
wow, who uses a swastika on their stuff?

Vaping related: mu juice really sucks lately. Haven't changed anything, just the size of the bottle of flavoring I bought. Need to experiment with this and that before asking for help. ;) It still sucks though. :(
Kay had been going through this for a long time, she finally upped the ohms on her coil and it made it all better.

No, I didn't soak the coil, I soaked the user.
hehehe

Looking good ... I like you choice.

Just a couple days back I order some M-Tanks from Smoke Evolution @ $1.99 ea. Let me check if they're still in stock. Yep ... they're still listed in the clearance section ... they also have colored ones. I got some other 'spares' tanks and parts too. Shipping was $2.99

Anyone looking for a really fine mech. This place is clearing out their Nanos mechs for $29. They're made my MMVapors in Greece, same people who made the Poldiacs. You can't get much better then the mech's made by MMV ... they were priced a whole lot higher at the normal selling point. The downside is MMV stopped making the Poldiac's and Nanos.

I bought a set of 7 M-Tanks from FT for less than $3. Liked being able to vape a tank dry without burning up the wick.
Well yesterday I had put one of the M's on my KF 3.1 and filled 'er up with some SOB juice I'd bought from Bombvapor. After filling the tank I noticed a small crack and thought that I'd probably put too much pressure on the M while filling. Later I topped off the tank and noticed that the small crack had been joined by another much larger crack. Needless to say I quickly drained the tank and replaced the M-Tank. So I really believe that the cracks were caused by the SOB and not caused by excessive pressure. So, keep an eye on your M's.
This incident was only the second instance of a juice damaging a tank I've seen in almost 3 years of vaping. I shutter to think what a mess a tank failure could cause.

Tutu, in da past, there have been some folk that suspected a flav level diff/concentration twix volumes.

May I suggest that you 'cleanse' your palate and taste a drop of da smaller volume and, post re-cleansing, da other.

I really can't see where coil resistance/voltage/wattage would affect da flav of a known/satisfactory recipe, assuming da same flav vendor.

Good luck, sweet lady! Please keep us posted...

I got a black one but they scrood me on the extension. Charged $5 more.
Well if I'd gotten 6 out of 8, that would have been more than 2 out of 3, which Mr Loaf tells us ain't bad. But, as I said, I got 5 out of 8, which is less than 2 out of 3.

But I don't feel bad, cuz 5 out of 8 ain't bad.
Did y'all ever get your missing stuff from Vixen Vapors? Or a refund? Or, at least, a response?

Jeez the weather is sure screwy. It's 55 degrees here pouring down rain and another big wind storm tomorrow. I don't ever remember weather like this in December here. They just got everything fixed from the last one. Think if it looks like it is going to happen with winds above 60 might run the motorhome up and fill it with gas and propane in the morning. We can always move into that. The ground is drenched so I'm sure more trees will go down.

For my fellow lovers of the Kanger Subtank, these Fasttech replacement tanks that enable top-filling are really excellent in my opinion, and I just ordered a second one:
$6.68 Replacement Tank Set for SUBTANK Mini Clearomizer - stainless steel + glass at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

If you don't like the tall size of this high-capacity replacement tank, just select one of the lower-capacity options. I don't think the one I got actually holds the claimed 9 ml of joose, but it definitely holds more than 7 ml. (For my first fill I carefully measured how much I was putting in.) Does require a needle tipped bottle or syringe to fill, but the advantage of not having to unscrew the base is well worth that slight additional effort.

I blow a drop or two out through the 510 connection after top-filling. If I don't, there's a little joose in the chimney that ends up in my mouth. I don't really know why; something to do with the air pressure is my best guess, but I never have fully grasped the mechanics of air pressure and vapor lock in these devices. I do, though, know that blowing a drop of joose out solves the problem.

It just occurred to me to try using the other hole in the top for filling. One hole has a red gasket of some kind and the other hole does not. I'll try using the red gasket hole next time.

Of course you could still fill from the bottom, but then you'd not be taking advantage of the best thing about these tanks.

The machining and threading are really good on the one I got, and the tank is fully interchangeable with the genuine Kanger parts of a Subtank.

On vape gear? Don't see why. On the other hand most folks don't know it's history. Hitler took it from his church. It's been a religious symbol for hundreds (or more) of years. I remember history books with pics of teepees with it on them.
It does have a long history but for most people it has been forever changed into a symbol of evil and suffering. Saying that it's time for people to get over it is cold-hearted and thoughtless.

It was a Chinese manufacturer, not sure which one. Was a year or two ago.

I'm really leaning towards it being the flavoring. Read below.

Do you mean bottle sizes? This is TFA. Never had a problem with the small glass vials, the larger plastic ones haven't been that great. One bottle was horrible. Steep, shook the daylights out of it and nuked it to no avail. Even tried to chalk it up to my taste buds suddenly getting more sensitive last summer/fall but that doesn't seem to be it either. Guess I'll order some of the small vials and try a side-by-side taste test. Thank you.

I'm not yet willing to buy into a theory that the goodness of TFA flavors ordered directly from TFA is dependent upon the size of the bottles. Then again, the only TFA flavors that I've ordered in multiple sizes from TFA are Clear Double Chocolate and Maraschino Cherry. My 120 ml bottles in plastic seem to me to be the same in strength and quality as the 6 ml bottles in glass.
