My son got frustrated. He didn't want to buy a mod with replaceable batteries and a charger. So-- with pass-through capabilities, a powerbank will suffice. :D

I am so sorry, Yiddle. I definitely did not mean for that to be as ugly as it sounded to you. It was intended to be sarcastic, yes, but in a friendly way.

Grimm Green has a good one about PA and the mess. It starts at around 17 minutes in...

Will do what I can fer PA vaping, although I'm not a resident there.

For whatever impetus one needs, besides our own vaping experiences/stories, please watch beyond da PA 'call-to'arms. Jack's story of him and his Mom should be mandatory viewing for every flippin' pol in our nation, regardless of gov't level!

I'm really gettin' tired (especially mentally) of da bad news, vaping and globally wise...

Thanx, Gary!

The verdict on the RX 200? Haven't messed with it much yet. The SS 304 coil I'm using works better on the DNA 200 but I'm guessing if I mess around with the settings it would work just as well on the RX 200.

Yes, you're the only one. The rest of us aren't smart enough. Sheesh.

Ay, yup! Would have made me want to light one up if I didn't already have one going, which was pretty much guaranteed to be the case.
Did you do the latest firmware upgrade supposed to really help the SS.

Thank you all for being a tad less talkative than usual. I had only 12 pages to read, tonight!:)

Congratulations, @Robert Cromwell! An early Christmas present!

@Yiana, let me add my (somewhat belated) Welcome! The Porches are home to some of the most kind and generous folks I've had the privilege to know. We are kinda inclined towards helping our friends spend their money, though :D.

@DancingHeretik, I just love that red P2.5! And @bigbells, what a lovely gesture!

(((((@yiddleboge6))))). You mustn't leave. You simply must not!

@MikeE3, hold off for as long as you are able on the 'Buki. Because once you try one, I fear you will want another. And another !

I seem to have torn the retina in my "good" eye. I'm a bit worried; I'll see a retina specialist next week, and, I hope, he'll be able to repair it. Meanwhile, I'm ever so grateful for such "old technology" as a P3, BilletBox and BVC coils, as I can't see to wrap one of my own. And the vape is perfectly wonderful!

They appear to have made great advances in such repairs. Praying that it will turn out ok.

I guess they do a CT every 3 months and I use Symbicort. They did find a couple more little spots. My 02 level runs about 95%. I haven't seen the pics but by the sounds of it they are pretty scarred up.
I'm glad your O2 level is good but sorry about the new spots. You've been through enough, hope the madness stops soon. Hope you held up well with the weather. Tornado? Hope you guys get a chance to dry out soon.
Oh, and didn't the anti-smoking commercials always make you want a smoke? Did me!
They did, every single time.

Yiddle, don't leave, especially over a sarcastic joke. It's a shame you took it wrong.

To others somewhat new to the porch, we thrive on sarcastic humor in here. 99.999+ % of the time when something reads like it's rude in here, it's friendly sarcasm. If you think you've been insulted, ask instead of jumping to conclusions. Disagreeing with someone is one thing but I can't think of a soul on here that would intentionally insult someone. If Iffy took me seriously every time time I called him a mangy beagle, we'd be at war. It started, no joke, over him making a disparaging remark about someone's octopus. (BTW Ifstah, I got you a bottle of Happy Jack Mange Medicine for Christmas, it's in the mail. :D)

Yiddle, please reconsider, it was just a simple misunderstanding. We want you back.

Little Bird,. I'm so very sorry. I know nothing of the condition but trust 3mg. Please let us know how it goes. Hoping for an excellent outcome as hard as I can.

1000 days smoke free YIPEEE!
Congrats on what is now 1002 days!

I posted the following on the Back Porch... really is Front Porch stuff:
I finally got around to using the RX 200. I need to use a higher temperature setting with my SS coil than I use on the DNA 200. I'm using 460 F and 60 watts with the DNA 200 and 500 F with the RX 200. The RX 200 does not have adjustable wattage in TC mode, it always uses 200 watts.

I upgraded the Wismec Reuleaux RX 200 software but if that had any effect on how the mod handles SS I didn't really notice. The display screen of the Wismec Reuleaux DNA 200 has bigger numbers and icons than the RX 200.

The additional programming that's possible with the DNA 200 gives me what I think is better performance, but there is not a huge difference. I programmed the DNA 200 for the exact diameter of the wire I'm using, which at 0.39 mm is a little smaller than true 26 gauge. The resistance curve is specifically for SS 304, whereas the RX 200 is just "SS".

I have some amazing news........my sil went for her post treatment check, and the treatment they did for the lung cancer worked..........doc said the cancer is gone!! Yay!!! She specifically asked him if she was in remission, or if it was gone......he said it was gone!
Love good news like that!

USPS at work the VA sent me an Rx yesterday. They are about 8 miles from me but since the Spokane sorting facility is still shut down from the windstorm it went to Federal Way about 300 miles from here to be sorted and sent back here to me.
Seems illogical and dumb but it is actually the most efficient way for the Post Office to handle mail processing.
