Discount Vapors has some air flow control clearos, buy 2 they are $1.99 each. I tried and experiment and put one of the air flow bases on a mini Davide. Works great! And for $1.99 instead of the $5.29 I paid for "official" ones. When I get home tonight I will try to remember to post a link.

Thanks for the nod FT. Watched this industry and community for some time. Followed super_X_drifters lead with the micro to try and see if we could put quitting and rebuilding on the fast track for new vapers. Reason I limited my participation the first 2 yrs here to hardware. Here to pay back what I couldn't pay forward. So the gratitude can't run out. Not the adventurous dynamic fella I was in biz and personal life these days but we try and keep up. On this FL bill we all of us need to pay attention as I think the agenda has seriously hardened. Evidence to me of the impact of the determined influence of vapers and this community. Bound to be a pushback. It's expected but a good sign. If you want to put out a fire, throw water on it. Well vapor's the proof positive. We're doin' it. Numbers matter!

Thx FT for the warm welcome and good luck. :)

If you've kept up on all the hardware, I'm in complete awe. I've forgotten more than I ever learned here. I live in California, land of stupid laws even for a democrat. We're up for a new round of assaults soon. Hope they all self-combust. I have no sympathy. I've seen you around those threads and salute your perseverance. Your patience far outlasts mine. Sir, I salute you and thank you for what you do, you do make a difference.

Always nice to get an ack for the effort. Hey, if we're all here participating in our success, practicing our conviction and best of all enjoying the benefits of it, particularly as regards our health, it matters. Our numbers are significant. If we can bear in mind how those who preceded us made this possible, their trials and struggles, we make a commitment of gratitude to promote the preservation of our rights…We then leverage and multiply the beneficial impact of our predecessors contributions. Believe we should all strive for the latter, as much as we may, to pass on what we know so others may join us. We get our vape and walk away; well then, it's just a commodity to us. We need to reach those vapers.

As for keepin' up with all the hardware; bro, that's the bain of our existence…resisting that, lol. Ironically, that is what we're trying to defend — the value of imagination, the divers evolution of this technology and potential for the quality of life to folks just like us. Can't blame peeps for havin' a good time as we do that, can we? I'll grant you, it's not easy keepin' up with this many mods, lol. But we try!

:D Good luck.

Just charged up my new MVP pro.
It's calling for up to 2 feet of snow here.
I should be good for at least 5 days.
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.

You're a braver man than I! And I don't fear hurricanes. :D Good luck.

No sno here but sub teen temps aren't much fun either. And an order from TPA is in so have to head to the states to pick it up.
Get tired of that "killer juice" that gets discontinued as soon as you try it. So, ordered some Pina Colada flavor. Now, no clue why I ever tried it in the first place but it was amazing. Discontinued. Tried a half dozen other brands since and all sucked. So I'm off to see if I can duplicate it.

According to an online search of my local shopping haunts loctite blue is more available than elmers rubber cement. Haven't figured out the logic but based on info available I am suspecting that rubber cement is not so dumb, it's just unobtainium. So, I'm modifying my mental shopping list and will find out tomorrow if loctite will jump into the cart when I go to Walmart.:)

Perhaps it's just too ordinary for a web search. Just look in the office supplies area. :)

I think this is it? You have to purchase 2 to get them for 1.99.
5S Adjustable Airflow Clearomizer 2.2ml - Clear
Yes! That's them! Thank you Robert. You do have to buy 2 for that price, and 2 of the same color. But they work pretty well and the AFC bases work on my mini Davides and Protanks. They come with the enclosed dual bottom coil assemblies, but I use single coil Kangers with no problems. For me, the AFC for $2 is worth it even if I don't use the tank part itself.

We've got both a Super Walmart and Super Target approx 2 miles from me and neither shows to have rubber cement in stock. And yes I did do specific searches in office supply. And if I recall correctly Walmart would not even offer free store pick up for orders. What's Up With That?!! Walmart does, however, claim to have Loctite Blue. I guess rubber cement is either too precious to keep on the shelf or has such a hazardous make up the children could be harmed.
I guess I'll have to suffer retaliation from my wife for me doing 'shopping' when we go to WM today. I give her a rash for 'shopping' while we are buying groceries.

Those AFC's have been around for years. Before I switched to RTAs I had fitted all of the PT & Puritanks that I used with them. Be sure and verify that the AFC control works smoothly before installing. Some of the ones I bought were very hard to adjust initially, but after exercising them freed up and worked fine. Air flow control and No More Puddle Of Juice On The 510 connector. Whooo, Whoooo!

Try contact cement if you can't find rubber cement. Pretty close to the same stuff. I got a small bottle of it at Lowe's or Home Depot to glue some leather while making a razor strop.

Like I said, Amazon has rubber cement for under $4 shipped. Prime not required. But as far as wally world and those having it on their web site... I think that's due to... how many frikkin things can they list? :) Especially if it's low margin and easily found everywhere. Then they have the "price matching" which makes it more trouble than it's worth to list.
