Oh, good guess. Mine was going to be baby bigfoot until I saw your post.Think it's a frog. I could be wrong though, hard to be sure till more of it is printed, but that's my guess.
got some 84mg juice ready to go??? And newp, that's not a typo!Oh, good guess. Mine was going to be baby bigfoot until I saw your post.
Okay, outta here for Dad's 93rd birthday (that translates to a dire warning that I'll be on that bloody laptop for a week).![]()
kewl!!!
yeah a lot of what we had, wasn't that great.......but being new to it all these days would be even more mind boggling! I felt overwhelmed even back then, and that was nothing compared to nowThere are just to many choices and styles of mods today... It is a wonder how a newbie knows where to begin - I guess you start at price point and go from there...
Very strange.Well that's odd. I ordered a mod (and a tank that I didn't need, but gotta get high enough for free shipping, right?
) over the weekend, and the preshipment info showing on My USPS dashboard says it is coming from a pet and aquarium supply store
.
That's not who I remember ordering
from.

Lokachu mathing!Absolutely! Was fixin to say this, but you got it covered. Vape?, most vw mods also have vv settings an old but good way to figure out a starting place is to take yur ohms on your coils. if you don't know, most of the time it's imprinted on the metal part of the coil, or your mod will even tell you what ohms it's reading at. Add 2 to the ohms and subtract .2 So if you have a 1.8 ohm coil......add 2 makes it 3.8 subtract .2 makes it 3.6 volts. If you can't figure out how 3.6 relates to how many watts, we can help you with that.
I have actually found other uses for it over the years and yes I am well organized and that is why I do not have worthless non usable stuff in my shoe boxes... LOL...

Yah it works pretty good it came with the atty though.Very nice!
I sure hope your M tank works better than the ones I got with my KFL's otherwise your RTA will christen your new pretty.

I see MONEY! Oh and that lost remote in the back!Oh come now ... everyone has one of these in the house.

Yeah. Mine doant got no muny.I see MONEY! Oh and that lost remote in the back!
Oh thats a bummer! Any idea why?Same here I got a couple of ehpro kfls a few months back that came with them. Really like them for the first week or so, so I ordered 7 more from FT. Put one of the FT m tanks on one of my kf 3.1's then both kfls and the 3.1 started leaking. Now I've got nine M tanks that are decorating my vaping bench.![]()
Thank you, I've just come back the few pages and found this. So I'm thinking higher ohms, but if i get vw, how in the world do you know how to set it if you're not an electrician? Wouldn't that be a bit dangerous since I don't understand it? Although, I'm not feeling all that safe with my current model, but I don't have to worry about settings, too high too low, wrong coils, et? Have a suggestion for a very simple one, that isn't hard to draw on? I'd love a couple suggestions for complete starter kits. There are thousands if I go online, and my head is spinning... Well, it does that anyway. But it's a bit like trying to teach yourself a new language and there are way too many choices. I'm not all that picky, does anyone have a pretty simple one that's held up well, and delivers an easy, airy draw?@Vape?
I'm hoping you were able to watch the YouTube vid I posted and that it made sense. I'm feeling like we're making this more complicated than it needs to be. Here's my take - after which I'll shut up!
1. What is required to vape.
A. Mod (also called a battery. I'm going to call it a mod.)
B. Atomizer (also called a tank)
C. Coil
D. E-juice
2. Mods
A. Mods are "regulated" or "unregulated." Regulated mods have built-in safety mechanisms. So do some unregulated mods, but we're going to ignore those, for now.
B. Regulated mods are either "static" power or "variable" power. Some static mods, like the one you have, are variable, but they don't really let the user control the power. We're going to ignore those, for now.
C. Variable mods (these are all regulated) can vary the volts, the watts, or both. Variable wattage (VW) and variable voltage (VV) are similar, from a user's perspective. However, most new vapers find variable wattage (VW) easier to work with. We're going to focus on VW mods.
D. Some mods use an onboard battery - the battery is built in to the mod. These are charged through a USB or equivalent. Other mods use a separate battery that gets charged in the mod, through a USB or outside of the mod, on a charger. There are pros and cons to each. They don't matter, right now.
3. Atomizers, or tanks, hold juice and a coil. When the mod is fired, the coil heats up the juice and produces vapor.
A. There are many atomizers. Some are made from Pyrex, others from plastic, and others from metal.
B. Atomizers come in various sizes. This is personal preference. Some folks want a large tank so they don't have to fill it as often; other folks prefer a smaller tank.
C. Atomizers use pre-made coils, also called "stock coils," or use coils that you have to build yourself. We're focusing on stock coils, because they are easiest.
4. Coils
A. Coils are basically one or more wires with wicking to hold juice. The wires are coiled - hence, the name- in various sizes and with various kinds of wire.
B. The longer the wire, the higher the resistance.
C. Resistance is measured in ohms. I'm not going to try to explain that, now.
D. Coil resistance is typically referred to as sub ohm (resistance under 1 ohm) or higher ohm (resistance is between 1.0 and 2.0 ohms).
E. The most relevant distinctions between sub ohm and higher ohm coils are these:
i. Sub ohm coils require more power to heat up and produce vapor.
ii. Sub ohm coils produce more vapor (clouds).
iii. Sub ohm coils lend themselves to "direct lung" vaping.
iv. Higher ohm coils require less power, produce smaller clouds, and lend themselves to "mouth to lung" vaping.
v. Many people think higher ohm coils produce better flavor. This is a matter of opinion; it is personal preference.
This post is too long, already. I'm going to start another one.
I've watched half a dozen you tube vids on beginning to vape. Most are old and spend a ton of time discussing eGo's, clearo's, etc. This one is not bad. At about the 3 minute mark, she talks about VW box mods, and bottom fill attys. More, later.
