You didn't get at least a sample of the infamous Mad Murdocks juice. He sky rocketed to fame a couple years back w/ his Pluid juice. A thick dark green very very liquorish tasting juice. There were waiting lists, back logs, etc. trying to score some at its peak of popularity.

Can still get it.

Believe me they aren't cookin the stuff we can get at the grocery store. Same with the beef. They use quality stuff that is probably way above our budgets. It probably tastes great too, when your paying the price. I was watching an Iron Chef and the pork they were using was $600 a pound from Spain.
yeah I realize they use much better quality than we get in our stores, but I still aint eatin pink pork!! lol

@Kenna ... Flamingo is visiting her parents and asked me to pass this along to you.

"Been keeping up with the FP but having major problems with the laptop. It keeps crashing, wiping out stuff. Could you let Kenna know I have a funny corgi story that (at best) dovetails with TSA and my ongoing struggle to trip them up with vape gear disguised as a pipe bomb?"
stinks she's havin laptop issues, but can't wait to hear this story!!

Yea, most everyone told us the cheeks were "the most prized" part of a halibut, but we didn't agree. I'll take the wonderful, pure white, flakiness, of the filets anytime!
yeah, chewy and stringy would not be for me either.

Cooked them same as I did the filets (beer-batter dipped, deep-fried).
never had it done like this......dad always just put some lemon and garlic and baked em. Soooooooo good! Haven't had halibut since I was a teenager.

No thanks. I gave mine away. Back 'then' a local vape shop was carrying his juice. Since it was no fuss, no muss to pickup a bottle I did. It was a unique experience ... but I didn't finish the bottle and PIFed it to a friend.

Still a friend? ;)

She wanted to try it ... but to this day she hasn't posted or replied to me whether she liked it or not. I did check w/ her a couple month's after sending it and she hadn't ... maybe still not to this day.

Halibut is great just salt and peppered and grilled in butter but not too much so it stays real moist.

... baked em.

I'll take my fish fried (beer battered or egg-dipped panko'd) or grilled, thank you! Honestly, can't 'member many times I really enjoyed baked fish.

Oh wait, I also luv fresh caught fish fried in a cast iron skillet with just sum bacon grease or butter, salt & pepper on a shoreline or river/lake bank!

A GAP (green apple pie) vape would be a fine dessert!

Please post your results! I have a LOT of Protank coils that I would love to be able to use with other tanks. And I shop the clearance sections where Aspire tanks show up on occasion. View attachment 570669

OK. Bad news I'm afraid. I tried a Protank head in my Aspire tank and it doesn't fit. I thought the chimney on the head would fit inside the chimney section in the tank, but it was too big. The post I read must have been referring to a different tank. I read it and didn't bookmark it so I can't go back and check. It was talking about putting a silicone cup over the bottom of the chimney section of the tank, then pushing the chimney section of the protank head up through the cup to get the seal. If I come across it again I'll let you know.

Yes, they were! My 105 pounder was the biggest one I've ever caught, and...the hardest 1 for me to bring up, too! I'm no spring chicken now! :D

There was a famous halibut in England many years ago. It lived under an oil rig in the north sea. Apparently they used to dump tons of waste food off the side of the rigs and the halibut grew huge. They called it Herbert. It was around at the time they were privatising the Post Office over there, and everyone was supposed to get the opportunity to buy a few shares cheap. I remember a cartoon in a tabloid. It showed him standing in a queue saying, I'm Herbert the 600 lb halibut and I'm here for my shares.
