And doing a stellar job!

I am going to a local B&M tomorrow to see what they are doing. I have Von's ABL poster and the card info would be great!
should have it tomorrow but I probably won't be up til about noon. But will post it soon as I get up. A friend is fixin it for me. It would be great if they'd let their business card people print it on cardstock. But they can do it on paper if they want. It would really benefit them to get the word out though.

There are some phonies that went around for a while not too long back.
True. But they were exposed in early May, so they've probably been pulled. The last ones I bought were in March & were all authentic. You can easily tell the real ones because the surface of the white insulator is dull & has a rough texture when you drag a fingernail across it. The white insulator on the fakes is shiney & slick in the fingernail test.

@Von Vape imrens are supposed to be pretty good batteries, but definitely check out mooch's blog. He's the battery guru. You do have to be careful right now about the brown lghg2's as even some reputable vendors got some fakes. I think now he recommends the samsung 30Q as one of the best for most mods.

There's different thicknesses to the Protank chimneys. I do use the thinner ones as you described in my Subtank mini. :)
Thanks for the reminder. I had forgotten all about that. I think you posted that on one of the Tootle Puffers threads some time back. Nice to see you over here for a change.
Welcome to the porch choochoo ... always glad when someone else joins in.
Choochoogranny is definitely not new on the Front Porch. She's just been too busy stocking up to get around here much.

Aw-w-w-w-w, thanks everyone for the welcome. I have been spending time stocking, but been doing a little bit at a time for a long time. Also, I don't have to stock a whole lot and tend to buy what I know and easy to deal with.

The "grey matter" will get mushy and must plan for that, so have decided to stick with the ProTank 2's, Nautilus and Subtanks for my MTL low watt style in which I can use the same single, horizontal, 30 gauge, spaced, 1.5 ohm, cellu cotton wicked coil.

The Nautilus's housing was modified by drilling the old style with small wick holes. Drilled out two opposite holes with a 5/64 drill bit. Build my above coil, insert from bottom, capture with pin run through holes, finish off bottom, wick with the cellu leaving 1/4" bunny tails outside casing. I do use them over and over again by re-wicking and dry burning to clean.

The Subtank I've settled on using the little Aspire Replacement (Non Nauti) BVC coil casing.....again the ones with the small wicking holes. Coil and wick like the Nauti. If I want to use them in the NANO Subtank, I must drill out the top metal and use the "cup like" silicone grommet that is used with the ProTanks that covers top of wicking. Invert it to cover end of airshaft of the Subtank. Have just built 4 of them in 30 minutes.

Sounds like I do the drilling. Nope! DH has to use his new super duper drill......I get new stuff = he gets new stuff. Ha! His new stuff helps me with my stuff. Works out pretty go-o-o-od. Anyway, he uses a wooden dowel to insert into the casing so they don't collapse when drilling. Also, drilling out the top of the Non Nauti BVC he does in steps.......using progressively larger bits to ream the hole out to where the top is totally open.

So, this is what I've been doin' plus a little bit of DIY. Found I can do unflavored just fine and diluting my favorite store bought juices by half is amazingly good which leads me to wonder if I haven't been flavor "bombing" my poor "buds." :p

Wow. This post is packed full of interesting ideas that I'm going to have to try. Might have to come back for more details on some of it.

The Porches are really old continuing threads. When we hit the 15K post limit we just start a new thread & pick up where we left off in the last thread. There is a lot of vaping history in these threads, so a lot of info available if you go back & read the older ones. Especially the Front Porch threads. There are many devices & vaping styles represented here! A little something for everyone & very seldom are we invaded by trolls. The name of the threads helps discourage that! [emoji3]
