Thanks Kenna, that's an interesting find! The problem with the kayfun Lites, though, is that all of the air has to come up through the center pin. Just making the air hole on the side bigger helps a little, but you really need a bigger airhole in the center pin as well, and the center pin just isn't big enough to accommodate a really big hole. So, I think something like the YouDe Goblin is really just a better choice if you want a lot of air. I mean, look at the size of those air holes. They're massive:

I've only tried TFA Double Chocolate (Clear), which tastes good on it's own, but it tastes more like cocoa powder than like chocolate. I think you need to mix it with creams and maybe sweeteners before it starts tasting like chocolate, rather than like Nestles cocoa mix. I think a lot of the problem in general is that part of the chocolate experience comes from the rich mouth feel you get from the cocoa butter, and that's completely absent when you vape. So, something seems missing.

Very cool! You can also get glass etching cream if you don't have a sand blaster (I don't). Basically, you mask off the areas you don't want to etch, then smear cream over the parts you do want to etch. Let it sit a while, and then wash it off, like so:

Only problem with the glass etching cream is it's made (sold by) Martha Stewart. Don't care for her much.

Sent with no malice and not a whole lot of forethought from my new Galaxy Tab 4. Thanks Santa!

I don't either but did you look at the link? I don't see her name in lights anywhere. Armour Etch® Glass Etching Cream

Where do you get the Youde Goblin? Only thing it looks like it was made for dual coils

It's new, so I'm only aware of one place that sells it, Triange Vape, and they're out of stock. However, it's only $27, and I understand they'll be getting more in (those will probably sell out pretty quickly as well, though). I'll post back if I run across other places that have it.

There's also a discussion thread on ECF under Rebuildable Atomizers as well, if you want to keep up to date.

I think I might like to try one of those. Do they work single coil or are they strictly dual coil? Bet it's a Vapor producing machine. I noticed the huge juice channels and four of those.

That Kanger Sub Ohm at 22mm sounds like a winner though. I will definitely be getting one. Not for the sub ohming with kanthal heads but it has a great Kayfun style build deck on it and it is really built solid. My biggest complaint was the size 25mm other wise they are heavy got really thick pyrex glass tank and easy to work with. More or less a good Kayfun knock off with good airflow much easier to adjust then the Lemo.

Good morning! It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood ...

Forgot to check the mail when I got home yesterday, so I had a lovely surprise when I looked, this morning. Vape-mail! Two 60ml bottles of one juice, and two 30 ml of others. Sweet! They should all steep a bit, but I'm thinkin' to vape one FOOB. Impatient, I am :)

Quick question: does anyone here accelerate steeping with an ultrasonic cleaning machine? (Yes, I did read some of those threads, but it don't know them, and I do know you. Well, sorta kinda :))

Oops. Another question: I see pix of etched glass tanks in various forums. I've googled, but can't seem to locate them. I've also asked, nicely, but the OP's don't respond. Anyone know where I might source them? They're so pretty! Thanks.

She makes them for lots of different atty's. I think she's an ECF vendor.

DIY liquid and new rayon wick in the Lemo - So far so good.
Read a lot about not using too much cotton but I'm going good.

Seems to me the cotton is going to absorb the liquid if it comes in contact with the liquid.

Cotton swells when it aborbs liquid, so too much cotton & liquid gets chocked off from soaking all the way through to the cotton that is actually inside the coil. It will be wet everywhere but inside the coil where you want it to get to in order to vaporize when the coil is fired. = dry hits = yuk. Rayon collapses when it gets wet, so if using rayon use more than with cotton.

How long is the shipping time for eciggity from Hawaii?

No clue. I would imagine maybe 7-10 days? Email & ask them. I finally found the Kayfun Lite Plus v2 with dual airflow control like the one I was pif'd. I wanted one in ss. The one I have is rose gold to match the copper Hana. So I just got this one. I like the airflow with them both open as far as possible without leaks. It only leaks a tiny bit if I over fill it. If I stop at the top of the clear tank it doesn't leak. It's an Ephro & on sale.

I tried the etching cream first. Apparently, pyrex glass is a bit too dense for the cream. I've etched a few mirrors and glasses with no problems, but even leaving the cream on until it dried didn't etch those tanks.
I got a small home sand blast kit from Michaels and it worked just fine. It's a can of compressed air and a jar that has the sand in it.

Could be he ordered them from FT. When the order didn't show up, he ordered more. Rinse, repeat. Then the turtles came ashore and he got buried. I'm also guessing he's not married...

... any longer!

She makes them for lots of different atty's.

Ah ha! She has tubes for the Nautilus. Now, if she just had some neat graphic designs instead of mostly FLORALS & BUTTERFLIES...

They do come with adjustable airflow control screws, so it may be possible to shut off the air to one of the sides and just run the other, or you could just plug the hole on one side (I think that's what 0mg does with her Orchid). But, since you have 4 post holes, I think it would be relatively easy to build both sides. The only problem is that you don't have a lot of room, which is true for the Orchids as well. At least you have a two-part chimney, which is a nice improvement over the Orchid V6.

I just tried using about half as much KGD as the rayon I usually use in my Big Buddha. I thought it would be too little, but it's actually working well so far. On my previous build with KGD, one of the wicks was completely burnt through. I think I just packed it too tight and the wick didn't stay wet enough.

Crazy day! Just popping in for a minute ...I'll catch up on posts later on tonight. Just FYI, Giant Vapes has 15% off until the 13th, using the code,
BestCustomersEver. Really good juice selection, great service, and speedy shipping. :)
Ack! I just got an order from them yesterday! I really like them, good selections all from one place. Can't beat that.
