Which way maximizes flavor, contact or spaced?

I agree with David, try it both ways and decide what works best for you. I tend to run at high wattages on atties with a lot of airflow (around 50-60W), and if I use contact coils, my juice tastes burnt. I was getting that burnt taste even at much lower wattages. So, for me, spaced coils are the winner. On the other hand, if I was vaping with something that had a much tighter draw, that didn't wick as quickly (like a stock Kayfun or a Taifun), then I might want to run at a lower wattage using a contact coil. I do know for sure that it's easier to make a spaced coil, just make a regular contact coil and instead of trying to get all of the coils touching, spread the coil out like a spring and then press it together again.

Donkey can't even say that.

How 'bout azz? BTW, quotes don't help...

We've been thinking of getting one of these for a long time. Would this be a good one for moderate to low use? The FoodSaver® Starter Kit.

Yepper! You'll never regret gettin' it. Also, do a Google search for da thousands of uses.

Kinda weird but it worked amazingly well. This guy said rub the side of your nose and forhead with the finger or in my case thumb that you use on the ball then use it. I couldn't believe it. Thought what the heck and did it worked perfect.

For any diaper changers, rub da diaper pin thru your hair (if so fortunate) prior to pinning. Learned this neat trick waaaay back when...

Dang...y'all are ooooold !!!

Tsk, tsk, shame on ya. How 'bout well seasoned (as in salt & pepper hair, if so endowed)? Just may have to report ya to an older mod! Oh wait... never mind...

I turned 58 in December.

Shucks, you're still a baby. I turned 60 in October of last year, and yes, that is a recent picture, I don't feel 60. I don't work like Iike I'm 60. I'm still working like an old pack mule and work circles around my opposite, who is the laziest little boy on the face of the planet,. Anyway, I digress

We Louisiana women are hard to slow down :)

I'm a relative newbie to the Vapor World, (about 3 mos) but I do qualify in the "older folks" category. Heh heh. I smoked for 43 flipping years!! I'm struggling right now, but I'm hanging in there. I'm so weary of being a slave to cigarettes.

I just quit the cigs 8 weeks ago and started vaping instead. I'm new to this forum and just wanted to say hello to all my fellow *vintage vapers*! Hope you have room fo rone more on the porch?

Rotowoman, I had my first cig at 14 and last at 61. If someone had told me a year ago I could do this, I never would've believed them. For me, the key was finding the right set-up and the right juice. I suspect that's true for most, so hang in there and you'll find what works for you.

IMO... spaced has a wider range of power that keeps the flavor.

Looks like you are one of us lucky ones. Stopped smoking and replaced it with vaping. MY key was flavor varity. I spent the first year switching between 12 flavors a day. Over the last year, I've cut that back, and sometimes go weeks with only 3 at a time. :)

Lucky and determined. Very determined. Mulish. Had a heart-attack scare, but thanfully it was a false-alarm. Still, it was enough to change my 'tude about quitting the cigs.

I'm still vaping elevnty-seven different flavors a day, but hey, I'm new at this.:)

Thanks Rotowoman! Do most of us <ahem> *elders* post to the other thread mentioned? I think it was called the lounge; not sure. I'm 62 but 18 at heart.:)

That would be the back porch:

We're supposed to keep this porch (somewhat) vaping related, but the back porch, (almost) anything goes!

And since this is all a virtual world, you don't need to drag your rocker from porch to porch, it's automatic. Without the always gumming up switches of those old 510s!

i dont know if this has been posted before as i dont keep track of older folks vaping thread as i refuse to be old at 29 :p , but for those who were interested in the kuro concept coilers for easier coil making if you have arthritis, the tobeco kuro coiler clones are out and now on eciggity.com for 8$ a piece, 2.0mm, 2.5mm, 3.0mm! Just ordered me 2 of em and shipped em same day today! :D

Hi there Alice! Nice of you to stop by and give us a heads up on the coiler. Thanks!

Taking a guess for long term storage how much difference would there be in storing the nic in the fridge compared to freezer ?

Have the current lot in the freezer but most the time freezer is foolish.

Also for the nic with vg how thick does it go in the freezer , nothing letting it sit at room temp for a while won't fix ?

I'd say put any nic that you're not going to use for awhile in the freezer and put the stuff you're using now in the fridge. What you put in the freezer should be filled to the top to avoid having much air in the bottle. I've read it will keep for years in the freezer. I think some people have used nic stored in the fridge for a couple years and didn't notice much difference at all, but somebody - maybe Semi? - said he had some stored on the door of the fridge that went bad. And a bottle of cold VG warms up pretty quickly on the counter. It's always going to be thicker than PG.

Because it's a Vapor Shark but it has the new one. Easier to see when you vape in the mirror. Oh and yes the RDNA40 I only ordered it a month ago.

You usually vape while looking in the mirror?

Check this even this dirty this thing vaped great. It tasted like "Monkey ..." but vaped great

Knew exactly what you weren't allowed to say, but please tell me you don't really know what it tastes like...

Nasal sebum - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia The link sums it up nicely. Ask any old time clockmaker about nose oil and you probably will get a smile.... the best lube for delicate gears you can "buy"......

Really? And I've spent good money (when I was young and stupid) to wash it away!!

I didn't know anyone used cloth diapers anymore. A friend of mine used to drive a truck for a diaper service. Used to go with him once in a while and get high driving around smelling dirty baby diapers. Yuk but we had a good time.

Boy have things changed! My son said they were going to use cloth diapers for the new baby so I thought I'd pick some up. They're hard to find! And when I did find them couldn't find pins and I don't think they even make those awful rubber pants for them! It's a whole new world of cloth diapers these days with snaps and velcro and they cost a fortune!! We're going to be watching the baby 2 days a week so they got us a special hose that fits on the toilet to rinse them. Sheesh! When I did find the "old fashioned" diapers the advertisement on the package mentioned how good they were as dust cloths and burp cloths. At least they didn't get rid of that idea.

Hello Charming! Of course we have room! This is a magic expanding porch with plenty of rockers for everyone. We even have a few recliners for a few who prefer them. We also have a back porch where we don't have to stick to vaping topics. Many here can also be found there as well so feel free to stop by there too!
