Ahem...

IT'S SNOWING AND WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE!!! AAUUGGHH!!!

Where da Northeast 'coasters at? Despite the typical New England mentality to overreact to the possibility of... a snowflake it's really woolly out there! Beyond the non stop 35+ mph winds in my location the roads are like trying to drive on glass covered in marbles - don't. Not a clue how much we got out there because the drifting is so bad. And we're gonna get another 20 hours of this!?

Anyone else in the pummel zone for this one?

One of my nephews goes to college there. I'm sure it's all party, party, party for them. Hang in there and keep the batteries charged.

With the Lemo when filling it I just fill it till the liquid is about half way up the glass.
These vacuum/gravity tanks for me if they're filled to the top seem to not wick frequently and you need to do some non fired vapes to help things along.
Contrary to some who never have any problems with completely filled tanks.
Its not the wicking either because after a vape if i leave the tank the next time I go to it the liquid level has fallen so the wick is absorbing the juice.

I'll try it. Just might work. My leak only seems to be when I fill it up too much, but this thing goes through so much juice it's crazy. OK just filled it half way. So far so good running a .2 coil 420 degrees at 16w. Good vapor hard to get used to this air flow but I'm trying. Seems as though if I tighten it down too much it doesn't work well so I'm opened up about half way.

I'd like this second part if I had half a clue what you said! :)

Basically she made a gasket out of a carto condom. An o-rings would also work. HINT: If using an o-ring on a countersunk screw (one with slanty sides) make sure the outer diameter of the o-ring is smaller than the outer diameter of the screw head. This will hold the o-ring in the little counter sunk area under the screw head and help keep it from popping out from under the screw head. Stays in place better.

Sent with no malice and not a whole lot of forethought from my new Galaxy Tab 4. Thanks Santa!

Looking at folks' signatures, I see a few REO lovers. What's so great about 'em? (Not bein' ornery; really want to know what you like about the Reo!). The closest I can get to understanding how they work is a Billet Box. I'm pretty sure that's not right :)

ETA: I'm worried that my question didn't come out right. After seeing so many folks lovin on their Reo's, I'm curious as to why folks like them so much. I read a bunch of posts in Reo threads, but no one talked about why they like their Reo, only that they like it.

I second the question. I too would like to know the appeal especially over a rta on a VW mod. Thanks, all opinions welcome.

Good sleuthing! Wow, not at all surprising, I need to do this with Texas reps and totally bust em out if they're anti vaping and taking money from BP/BT

It was another forum member that posted that link, DrMA.

The bill is here. https://legiscan.com/CA/text/SB140/2015 The sheer length of it is enough to make someone chain vape.

I saw where y'all are pretty much getting the brunt of this.......20,000+ without power. I've always wondered, what do y'all do if that happens? Does everyone have generators, gas heat, go to shelters/friends, or sit in yur house and freeze??

Don’t know about back there, but here we sit in the house and freeze. Unless of course it’s the summer, and then we just sizzle until the power is returned. A few have generators and have no qualm about running them all night long and keeping the rest of the neighborhood awake and miserable. From what I've seen on the news about past storm outages back there, it takes them a lot longer to get the power hooked up again because of all the downed poles. I feel for them.

Well, they taught us to question whether what we were being taught was true. That's pretty valuable.

Your schools were far better than mine. I think most of it was growing up in the wrong place and the wrong time teacher wise.

Guess what? I finally built my first dual-coil! And, it even works! Quite well, as a matter of fact.

Wahoo!

IMO NO. I tried subohming last night and I didn't enjoy it at all. One of the juices that I like so well tasted like Monkey ___.

You tend to use that very descriptive term quite a bit, just wondering how do you know what monkey___ tastes like?

Well Wolfy that seems to have fixed my leak. Also I have learned that you need the air flow to keep from hitting TP on the RDNA40.

One thing 2legs - If you take it apart to clean or such then make sure you keep track and remember the two silicon rings.
One that goes on the bottom part where the build deck is and the other that goes on the top part. They can be hard to see when there in , I sometimes get a screw driver and move them around to make sure they're there.

They can get stuck to the tank well mine did and they're hard to see.
Just an hour ago I took it apart for a build and filled it up and it started leaking. Im touching the tank and its wet and also it was able to spin around, thought this doesn't seem right.
Trying to figure out what was wrong and I then noticed the silicon ring on the bench. I had forgotten to check they were still in.
Put it back in tightened it up and all was good.

Think it was stuck to the tank when i took it apart and fell of when I was wiping the tank.

That is awesome! I would use it for my avatar except 1). it's someone's personal artwork, and I don't want to take it without permission, 2). there's no way I could live up to that image :)
...
I agree. Unless you get permission from the creator, it's not really your's to use.

OK... I'm not very artistic, but I'm clever and I have craft-like skills.

I did these just for you, PapaSloth

you can use the second one as an avatar if you like, or you can see if you can re-frame the first one and shrink it into the 150x150 we need for our avatars. :)

Thanks Ken :) The only change I needed to make was to turn the picture the right way up :)

It is a dead simple mechanical mod with an onboard 6 ML bottle of juice that you sqeeze (squonk) to send juice up through the tube to an atomizer. They are also nearly indestructible and if should break simple to repair. The manufacturer stands by his work and is a fantastic guy to deal with. He is often on ECF keeping track of what is up with us REOnauts.

A REO is not a cheap investment but it is one that is built to last.

Edit: Let me also add that what I carry with for example if we do an all day trip to the big city shopping (an 1.5 hour drive each way + all day shopping). My REO, One battery box with a couple of extra 18650s. One batter box with 2 6 mL bottles of juice.

Changing juice is a matter of unscrewing the now empty bottle from the mod and screwing on a different one.

I CAN actually use a REO while driving even with my tiny hands assuming I am not having one of my horrible arthritis days. On bad arthritis days it is the weight of the thing that gives me fits not so much the use. IT IS HEAVY.

Looking at an Elkronigin. I've heard good things about them: good juice capacity; easy build ('tho you're good at building, so that might not matter); well made; and great flavor. I was thinking about the Ruzgar, but it has a very small deck, and I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to work with it.

ahhh! The Erkronigin is on my short list of 'wants' too. Had to google 'Ruzgar' never heard of that one. I tend to stay away from glass tanks surrounded by metal though. To me the hold in the heat and tends to make the juice in my tanks turns dark.

Hi Heybilox - I haven't neen on the porch regularly the last couple days. So I just wanted to welcome you to the group.

E-cigarettes would be banned in public places under California bill

Excerpt

"Whether you get people hooked on e-cigarettes or regular cigarettes, it’s nicotine addiction and it kills," Democratic state Senator Mark Leno, who introduced the bill, said in a telephone interview. "We're going to see hundreds of thousands of family members and friends die from e-cigarette use just like we did from traditional tobacco use."

Do they think everybody is so stupid that they will believe this stuff? Hope he's publicly flogged and held accountable for his lies.

Well dang - I was having a pretty good day 'till I read your post - such a lame and stupid thing to say. But consider the source a politician.

Myrany, thanks for your answer. I bookmarked the post and will watch the videos. That was really sweet of you to do!

Mike, i popped into my local vape shop, this afternoon (read down to know why) and asked the owner about the Erlk. He's going to get one for me. I love that young man! :)

WOO HOO! I did it! So excited. Thanks to all of you who have been so encouraging, I built two coils, today - 1.2 and 1.6 ohms - and wicked my KFL+ and K4!!! I had NO idea that juice could taste this good. Patrick (young man and owner of vape store to which I referred) watched me build and guided me through wicking. The K4 gurgles a little bit, but that's OK. I feel like I did when I was 10 and got my first pie crust right :)

Should've taken pix of the builds, but I was laughing too much to remember! Next time ...

I am almost done cleaning my FT clone V4. After it's first soaking in the ultrasonic cleaner it came apart easily. Ran it through 15 minutes with Dawn Dishwashing liquid in hot water. Two hot water rinses and now it's soaking in Vodka. Will run the cleaner for another couple of cycles then a couple more hot water rinses. Set it out on a paper towel to dry. Put it back together, coil it and wick it up then we will see how it vapes. Do I want to leave out the air control screw? Thoughts?
