This is exactly WHY I bought the REOs and the Provari. It is also why I have about a dozen really simple drippers and 4 other lesser quality mechs. I have a lifetime supply of Nic in my freezer.

Hardware and nic are the chokepoints. Get that covered and you should be fine.

I also have been stocking heads for my protanks and CE5s. They won't last forever but they can be rebuilt which will extend them outward for years, considering I am still rebuilding the original 20 or so heads I started with when I started vaping over a year ago.

I also have the 2 divers I bought for my carto tanks. They are fiddly but they do work and will extend the use of those. I still regret not getting the sophia instead.

I first found out about all this mess about a week after I started vaping. I've been in doomsday prep mode since.

Edit: I also figured out how to convert a premade blu carto into a dripper just in case that sort of vaping manages to survive all this and I got desperate. It aint great but it does work.

All the doom and gloom is a big part of why I take vacations from EFC at times. It sets off my panic attacks. I would tell people to make a plan at this point and slowly but surely get yourself as well setup as you can manage in what time we have left. Having a plan helps a ton.

Same here with the panic attacks. I'm almost 6 months into this & thinking in terms of how fast I can get prepared. So my shopping focus is changing.

Well I think I've made up my mind, NOT. I really like both ways the Temperature Control is really good, so is the old way. I don't think I have a preference either way they both have their pros and cons. One thing I have noticed with the Lemo you can open the air so much that you can use a greatly increased amount of power and not hit temp control and if you try to put too much it will stop you from getting all the bad stuff from overheating. Right now with the air opened up I am using 18w at 410 degrees and not hitting TC which is great because you get an enormous amount of vapor. When these Lemos get too low on juice like just barely showing at 420 or 430 you will get a slightly burnt dry hit but not at 410 that is with KGD. I think Rayon might have a higher burning point. That is my next experiment. It is also really hard to burn off a nickel coil when rewicking. I've only tried it once at 600 degrees but to get the ash off if you use even a soft brush you screw up your coil. I ended up having to recoil too.

would tell you a couple of solid mechs
several solid rebuildables either drippers or tanks or both
a supply of nic

and the knowledge of how to use all of the above

They cannot touch PG, VG, Cotton, wire, batteries or food flavorings

got up this morning, and had 17 re-tweets on that one, so I've tweeted this one today:

use this link to find out who is funding the sponsors: Home - FollowTheMoney.org
broken link in case ECF don't like that one

OK - find at least ONE mech mod you can use that doesn't appear to be very breakable. I've got a Hammer mod. Heavy, but vapes very well.
Stock up on nic, or know someone who can DIY nearby.
also same for recoiling... have the stuff or know someone who does and will help - just in case
Then you can relax and get just what you want, and nothing else, because you are covered.

I understand that you are asking about the canceled subscription.
I carefully reviewed your account and found out that the:

So... Apparently, I must have set a time limit on it. Going to go take care of that now. :)

There are in my house.

Yes - the 2 in the middle are original R91's and one on the end is a Version 2.0 w/ the airflow / filler ring.

I got it from a co-op on another forum site. Only got 1 because I wasn't sure I'd like it. Now that it's become my fav - I haven't been able to find it for sale anywhere. If you find one someplace, please let me know.

Mt Baker Vapor has them for 60.00, EVCigarettes has them for 80 something, & VaporDNA has them for 100.00. I think Mt Vapor will be getting some of my monies as soon as I find out how much it's going to cost to get the Hana fixed.

I'm not panicked. Not yet, anyway. Perhaps it is foolhardy on my part, or perhaps I am just naive, but I believe this community can influence the outcome. Don't mean for this to get political - at least no more so than it is already - but I do think we have a voice. And I applaud you all for doing whatever you can to make our voice be heard. Let's make some noise!

We will all have noticed that I am now in to rebuildables ...I may be naive, but I'm not stupid!

Yeesh I am so out of date the last Databases I ever worked with were MS Acess (the office suite one) and FIleMaker. LOL

We teach a database course on MS Access, but I haven't taught that one (frankly, I hope I don't have to :) ). The Distance Learning department here is still a heavy user of FileMaker as well. So, you're not so out of date.

On the subject of preparing for the vapeocalypse (which is looking more imminent every day), my collection includes:

1 4nine clone
2 SMPL clones
4 2six clones
1 26650 Stingray clone
1 KFL+V2 clone
4 EHPro Big Buddhas
1 Goblin
1 Orchid V6
16 miscellaneous batteries
1.5+ liters of 100mg/ml nic
probably around 0.5 liters of misc. flavorings
about 3 quarts of VG
lifetime supply of KGD and rayon
Lots of bottles, syringes, needles, mixing equipment
Miscellaneous parts, tools, kanthal, volt-ohm meter, etc., etc.

If the vapeocalypse hit tomorrow, I could last for at least a few years without buying anything else (and possibly, several years).

Of course, all of that is moot if nicotine becomes a controlled substance (Oregon House Bill 2558).

I like the idea of the mechs but I also enjoy being able to start out in the morning at 10w and later in the day go up to 11-11.5 and back down to 10 in the evening. That is quick isn't it at less than 1/4 the price.

he, he - a variance of 1 to 1.5 watts. I don't even think I could tell the difference between vaping at 10 watts compared to 11 watts.

Mt Baker Vapor has them for 60.00, EVCigarettes has them for 80 something, & VaporDNA has them for 100.00. I think Mt Vapor will be getting some of my monies as soon as I find out how much it's going to cost to get the Hana fixed.

Kenna - be careful. The Russian V2's at Mt Baker and EVCigarettes are not the Russian 2.0's. The Russian 2.0's have a ring to adjust airflow and a side fill port. The V2 91% and full size Russian use a screw to adjust airflow. The V2 R91% uses a screw to fill it while the full size Russian does have a side port for filling.

VaporDNA has the V2 for $100 and the Russian 2.0 for $114.

It's quite confusing since the upgraded originals are called V2's and the all new one with the side ring for air control and filling is call the Russian 2.0 or sometimes the Version 2.0 not V2.

So how does everyone store their nic? Buy liters & break it down into what sizes for freezing? Freeze or no? In what kind of bottles? I'm thinking the 100mg/ml would be easy to mix with. Pg or vg better for storing?

I'll catch up tomorrow. g'nite!
I store mine in my nic freezer. It's locable

I only buy PG nic... It's my understanding it will last longer.
I estimate I have about 18 years of nic stored... And room to triple that.

Many, if not most, freeze nic in 'padded' colored glass bottles for long term storage. I like to break down a liter into 250ml bottles. According to Kurt, our resident 'ECF chemist', PG based nic stores better than VG.

I'm sure others will chime in with helpful info..

Pretty sure Tractor Supply only sells PG. It's about $24 now.

That's what I thought too. But, when I went to pick up some PG, they had gallons of VG sitting right next to the gallons of PG.

ETA: If the PG is about $25, it must have been the VG that was about $35.
