My multimeter measures the resistance of my vape coils accurately and was less than $20 at Lowe's. It has good detachable leads. I've had it for 3 years. It has horrible reviews on Amazon, but not for lack of accuracy. The negative reviews cite failure of the display screen and sudden total failure, but knock on wood, mine is problem-free so far and seems really solid to me. did a check on the s-body voltage;

30%=3.6v
20%=3.5v
10%=3.4v
0.0%=3.3v=shut-off

thanks for that info... looks like the way I do it, between 14 and 10% is when I want to switch out.

Not really understanding this, Kenna. The dual intake KFLs have the intake around the base, and the air then goes up the center hole, so alignment isn't an issue. Perhaps Pepper was talking about some dual COIL device, where the chimney holes do need to align so the air goes across the coils? I know that's the case on my one lonely dripper.

The positive post MUST be snug and not move. Problems WILL happen if it shifts!

The dual intake in the base goes in one side, through the pin, & does the same thing on the other side. For the dual airflow to work correctly all three holes have to line up, so if you hold the base & look through one of the airholes you'll see all the way through & out the other side. I have one that was not lined up. The center pin was turned just enough that it was only open less than half way. Which means the airflow was really tight. So I took a screw driver to it & in trying to line the holes up, I loosened it so the positive block on the deck was loose. I had trouble getting it all tightened back up correctly, but with the airholes aligned, & nothing touching anything it's not supposed to. Finally got it done, tho! Vaping it now. Woohoo! I can wrap coils, wick a Kayfun & repair one, too!

Thanks for the suggestions, unfortunately I don't have any peppermint or spearmint flavorings. I bought 4 different premixed flavors from that B&M I went to a couple of weekends ago, and they are all ~ahem~ "not good" to put it mildly. They all seem to have the same aftertaste, and they all irritate my throat after about 3-4 hits.



I've been keeping 0 nic in the Lemo since I got it early last week, and 5mg/ml. in the ST Mini... both unflavored. I hate to get all gross and everything, but I still have a phlem build-up in my throat due to irritation from something. I keep varying my pg/vg ratio, nic level, and power settings and still have throat problems. I'll get it sorted out, but it may take awhile.

Ken, you were talking about "mint" extracts from the kitchen! I didn't get that until I was proofreading after posting.

Uman, I had that problem when I got out of the hospital last May. It was bad enough that I had trouble breathing around it. Turned out I had Thrush from the antibiotics. I did the swish & swallow stuff. Two whole bottles of it, & that didn't get rid of it. I finally remembered about apple cider vinegar. I used about 3 tablespoons in a little over a half a glass of water, added a tiny bit of honey, & did the swish & swallow with that 3 times a day trying to make sure it hit the lump in my throat when I swallowed. That did it! Took care of the rest of the Thrush, also. Be sure you use the organic ACV "with the Mother", keep doing it & you'll notice after a couple of weeks that you feel better all over & have more energy, too. I need to start doing it again. I can do just 1 tbsp in a half glass of water twice a day & maintain my energy & all that way. I just used more to get rid of that lump & the Trush.

kayfun 4 was like $180 and i didn't read all good comments on that , rose v2 is $170 or so and saw a couple of reviews and not 100% favourable.

I paid 51.00 for my marquis clone (incl shipping) from catfish atty mods need to try some various builds in it to see if I can get it where I love it.

Doffy sent me a few atties he wasn't using, some clones, a couple auths. So far, I'm liking the nuppin the best, but still have one more to try. I'm finding I tend to prefer lung inhales, and med sized atties apparently. lol

No, all the ones Doffy sent work on the Reo grand. I only have one right now that works on the Reo mini now, and that's an ERA. It's ok but not great. Need to send the mini in for a snippy snip, new 510 and contacts when I get the $ thinkin maybe I'll hit my son up for that for my bday in July.

Marquis, I only did one......twisted 30g 5 wraps I think, came out to 0.9 single coil. I'd done a dual coil that came out to 0.4 but only have one aw imr batt and didn't want to forget and slap a panny in there at that ohm, so I took one off to get the 0.9 single coil.

Has your Wal-Mart quit carrying VG? Mine apparently has. Probably because they are concerned with revenue-- cutting into quit-smoking aids, and prefilled cartos. I thought I could get by without buying anything this month.

I'll try to remember to look. Problem with our store is half the time they don't restock stuff. Drives me crazy. And sometimes they do just up and decide to stop carrying something you've bought there for years. Their VG would up giving me breathing problems anyway.
