My multimeter measures the resistance of my vape coils accurately and was less than $20 at Lowe's. It has good detachable leads. I've had it for 3 years. It has horrible reviews on Amazon, but not for lack of accuracy. The negative reviews cite failure of the display screen and sudden total failure, but knock on wood, mine is problem-free so far and seems really solid to me. It came with a K-type thermometer sensor that also works well. This is the one I have: Amazon.com: Ideal 61-310 Resi-Pro Multimeter: Home Improvement
