I see no problem with vape stuff and tobacco stuff sold together. Going into a smoke shop and making that impulse buy of vape stuff often is the end of the evil habit.
That's what happened to me. Total impulse with very little info to go on. But that ego set up was the beginning of a beautiful thing!

I wouldn't have made it without being able to do 10w with my Nautilus and 30w with my Atlantis.

You really don't think you could have? I really, desperately wanted to quit and it was a big struggle for me, but two years on I'm pretty much vaping the same way I started, just with a fancier battery case. (At least it will last for years even if I don't crank it up with the latest topper on it.) There weren't many choices when many of us started and almost zero choices when some began but I have heard at least one person say they couldn't quit until they were able to really crank it up.

And everything will be expensive as smoking.

No, I believe that when it is all said and done - vaping will cost more than smoking because they will believe that people will pay a premium to get off of smokes - look at the costs of patches, nic gum, lozenges, etc...

"Next best greatest things" that I've never tried:
Provari, Reo, Billet Box
Kayfun, Russian, or any other new RDA or RBA since the first of those highly praised ones came out
Nickel wire*
Temperature control*

*still might try one of these days

Ya might want to keep holding out on the Temp Contol 'till the next generation comes around. Granted I've only been using a DNA40 w/ temp control for 2 weeks - but I'm thinking it's been over-hyped too. Under normal vaping - it's not significantly different than my mechs or VV or VW mods. If I'm noticing a difference it might be a bit more mild when chain vaping due to the temp regulation. But really I'm not seeing a significnt difference for my vaping style.

Kind of like the Kayfun 4 vs: the Kafun Lites. Most 'honest' people using them both say there's no significant difference in vape production of flavor production. It's about the looks, being able to access the build deck w/o emptying the tank, and I think primarily the 'status' of having one.

Well golly-gee-whiz you're just making me feel so much better about the future of vaping. Thanks

In those first 2-3 weeks, I really had to make do with the spinner/ETS combo. I wasn't ready to drop $70-$80 on a Nautilus and a good battery yet. I really wish I had done that right from the start though. It would have been easier with 5ml capacity and 2200 mah. And then I would have already had a battery that would fire the Atlantis I bought next.

I need to let you try my 300 watter with a twisted parallel quad coil build. You will forget all about 8 watt puffing.

Look at the prices of cigs in let's say New York (taxes and product) - people still smoke... The high tax could of made every one quit, but it did not and they knew it would not.

Sorry, but they sit in back rooms in every type of income / revenue producing venture in the world and try to figure out what can the market bear - Do you really think it will be different with vaping?

Finishing up the last bit of the S+C2 sample from Vape Wild and I figured out what it tastes like. It's like Tiger Blood without the coconut instead of a strawberries and cream flavor. Pretty sure it has some watermelon in it. Pretty good but not S&C, IMO.

In the mood for something different tonight...

I was going to smack him but he's hard to find when he's invisible.

What you say is true but I see this turning out more like prohibition. Stock in fish filters and tea bags may go up. Your local speakeasy may look like that picture above but I think people will be more resourceful, the black market will thrive and the sale of flashlights will go through the roof.

I know there is some concern about ECF staying afloat if ecig advertising is banned.

I am stocked, and continue to add as I can, but we are already here. All those smokers out there who don't stand a chance. That bothers me.

Vaping is the next big money cow, "they" (fill in your own "they") will milk it for all it is worth. While vaping can save so many lives, " they" don't really care. "They" just want to line their coffers. Whatever it takes or how many lives it costs. JMHO

And Wanda - I am sorely slacking in welcoming you to the best place on the web for friendship and caring, and with Deb's Place, in real life! Wait, is this the right porch for Wanda? Sigh...

Yes, right porch to welcome Wanda.

That some of them are lumping 0mg juice right in there with nic juice sorta gives a hint on what their long range goals are.

I came on board today and a member invited me to the porches. I don't know the difference between the front porch and the back porch. Is one supposed to be more formal than the other? I'm new at forums and new at vaping. I've read tons of great info at ECF, and have tons of questions. First, wth is a tootle puffer? Second, vape lounges are springing up like dandelions all over Orlando. It seems less like prohibition and more embracing the inevitable, at least around here. So that's good news, right? And finally, what, exactly, is the government trying to regulate? My step-son just told me that UCF sent out bulletins declaring vaping supplies as "drug paraphernalia" and they can be suspended for being in possession of it, and that just seems totally ridiculous to me. Isn't that about comparable to taking away my ashtray and bic, my wine glass, my beer stein?

Welcome to the Front Porch Sea! :) Or do you prefer Peach, or SP?

The Front Porch is (usually) vaping related and the back is more relaxed, music, gabbing, laughing, whatever's up at the moment.

Tootle Puffer is a term someone made up recently and has taken off with the thread you probably noticed. It essentially means low watts, high ohms vaping. It's not meant as anything derogatory at all.

The UCF thing is outrageous! It's like saying if you're over 18 and have a pack of cigarettes in your pocket, you can be suspended.

There are a number of folks here from Florida but I don't think they have any legislation going right now. They can fill you in. The real woory for many of us now is what the FDA will decide to do. That forum is here FDA Regulations | E-Cigarette Forum

Again, welcome to the porch! Not sure where everybody got off to. They'll be back.
