I like my Nitecore chargers, but I haven't had my digital one long enough to report on reliability. An older Nitecore i4 version (no digital readout) only has 3 of the 4 bays working. That failure is not related to the sliders that hold the batteries, which are not too good on the i4 but which have been improved greatly on the d4.

I also have, and like, an eFest 4-bay digital charger.

All that said, though, the one most favored by those who know more about batteries than I do is the Xtar VP4. I have no idea why... it's beyond my desire to know, but somewhere here in the Forum there's a thread with rankings of the various chargers. I think that the person looking for a new charger (was that Omg?... Flamingo?... don't remember and I'm not going to go searching for the post) may have provided a link to that thread.

Im looking for a cheap RDA that will take dual coils and clapton coils. I would like to hear some ideas as to what might be my best option.

Depending on how long you're willing to wait, the Velocity is $8-10 at FastTech or Focalecig. The build deck is awesome - the set screws are on the sides. Two-post design, but two holes per post. Even *I* can build a dual coil without much difficulty. The wire holes are a bit larger, so I think Clapton wire wouldn't be a problem. I ordered from Focal because I wanted the bottom-feed pins. FT has been a little faster with shipping/delivery for my other orders, but not by much.

I have a nitecore d2 that is almost 2 yrs old and still working fine. I have a d4 (same charger in 4 bay) practically unused as a backup. I only use my external battery mods at home. Batteries and a charger would be just one more thing to drag along when we travel. Don't have an external battery mod that charges USB.

Wow sold!
Yeah that looks great. Everything else I have looked at has looked very breakable, lol, and most didn't have large posts.
This will be great for playing with coils and tasting ejuice, thank you!

ETA: And with a two week wait on shipping, my wife will have forgotten all about this new charge on the credit card, lol.

welp. Just entered the Cloudpour contest. Not really intrested in a TC device so will probably end up giving it away... then again, I rarely win anything so it won't be a problem

That's what I always said, and I now own a really pretty ECF engraved disrupter.

On a totally different topic, does anyone know of a flavor supplier that might carry Nature's Flavors Earl Grey Tea? I'd gotten it before from ECX and High Desert, but neither has it any more. Bull City and MFS don't carry it.

If I have to I can order it directly from Nature's flavors by the ounce, but they have about 16 variations and I can't remember which was the best for vaping. I think it was the "Coffee and Tea" flavoring but I hate to spend a bunch of money on an ounce (well probably two, since 1 costs $15 and 2 costs $18) and then find out that it's not what I want.

A large amount isn't really a problem, since it is my favorite, but I hate to spend that much money on one thing with my current budget status.

Oh yeah, pretty deep juice well - holds at least a mL, I think.... That was another feature that sold me. I have a couple of other RDAs, but I don't like constantly dripping.
Yeah I have been looking for a few days, and have seen a lot of chincy looking rba's (all price levels). Im not into dripin that much myself. Just mainly wanted a decent sized deck to build coils for. The deep well is definitely bonus! My daily driver is the subtank mini, and you can't get to carried away on that little deck, lol.
Thanks again I think Im going to enjoy this new RDA!

I got burned on a Nitecore, actually my batteries did. Once burned, twice shy. It's bound to happen with the number they turn out and it was just my bum luck. They are a good, reputable charger as long as you don't get the bum or counterfeit one. Always wise to buy from a reputable dealer and knowing what the fake boxes look like. Is there anything today that doesn't have a counterfeit counterpart?
