Good morning all! I really appreciate all the good links this morning. I've had my own personal crusade going on at FB this morning to justify my switch over to family and friends. Mostly how vaping is less harmful than analogs and how FDA/Gov't and BT are whining with propaganda because of missed opportunity.

Last night had some issues with sore throat and runny nose, nasal congestion. It passed with some nasocort and I slept well. This morning, I filled my tank with 12mg 50/50 (I didn't feel the 9 mgs was going to stave off cravings.) The thinner liquid was spitting at me and I got a drop spit in my eye last night, no fun, I rinsed it out. Anyway. After a half ml vaped felt this morning, it was to heavy, thick on the lung, so I thinned it out with 5mls of 100% pg at 18 mgs. I don't do math without a calculator and more coffee, but it's working better for me. Clueless as to what pg/vg ratio and nic level this is now. (Not fond of this double double apple flavor, but it works. I missed the hint of mint, so it was more satisfying after I dropped in the 5 mls of Cool Fresh.)

I really do believe we are going to be faced with some harsh regs. Anything bought online will have to be signed for with ID. You'll be able to count all the different flavors on two hands. And everything will be expensive as smoking.

Thank you, bookmarked it. Never did find it on my own. They sure have a lot of stuff. Love, love, love the unicorn type bottle! Have at least 40 of them so far out of fear they will stop make making them just because I like them. Hate it when they do that.

I haven't had that issue unless I've been adding quotes to a really long thread, then try to check another shorter thread in the middle, or do something else wrong. Glad you realized it was the med causing the issues, and very glad it wasn't your heart!!

I might be hitting "reply" instead of "+quote" sometimes. Trying not to get too frustrated until they get all the kinks worked out. Thank you.

I can tell you with absolute certainty that is the reason I won't take the cholesterol meds. If I have to go, I just have to go. I REFUSE to live with side effects that will punish me and lower my quality of life. I took those meds before and I ached like hell. I'm not doing it anymore. I'm working on lowering my cholesterol the natural way. VAPE ON!!

Yes, we too are working on it the natural way also. Our habits weren't that bad it's just that I got some bum genes somewhere. I can fix that but not so much if it was the heart. And now, if you can't eat it, you can always vape it and have seconds without any guilt.

Glad you are working your way through this without getting discouraged.

With the spitting problem, I use and angled drip tip adapter sort of like this Gun Metal Angled 510 Drip Tip Adapter There is a stainless steel one around I can track down if you're interested. The plated ones also come in three different colors.

Heck of a day, my friends. I was covered in dumpster slop dern near from head to toe and ready to walk off the job. Broke down and got my first Red Bull in months at the store, vaped for a few minutes and got rolling again. Glad to have this day behind me.

I noticed that my tastebuds quickly lose the flavor of that Mr Vape RY4. It's almost like unflavored juice today after vaping it last night. It was nice while it lasted but I may have a fling with Mr E Liquid tonight.

Been vaping on this Atlantis 2 / Crystal RY4 combo since Sunday. The factory coil is still shiny instead of gunked like a Kanger coil would be after two days. Tank after tank at 50 watts and this original coil is still performing. I complain about stuff a lot so thought I should give a compliment when it's due. Aspire did a good job on this tank and the coils. The flavor is right there with a Kanger OCC but the Aspire unit lasts so much longer. And Crystal E Liqud is top quality juice, too.

What wattage are you using on your battery? The Nautilus is one of the few tanks I've used that hasn't been a problem for me with spitting up the chimney. It certainly shouldn't be coming out in your eye. I vaped 70%PG liquid in it the past two weeks every day with no spitback so I'm wondering if you're using very low wattage and it's not atomizing all the juice the tank is wicking. A coil can flood and spit if it's not atomizing all the juice and the wick keeps pulling more in. FWIW, I would vape 50/50 around 10- 12 watts. YMMV

To clear a flooded coil, take the tank off the battery, fold a paper towel over the drip tip and shake out the excess juice. See if that doesn't cure the spitting. Video example I learned from when I started:



Sometimes there is a little hassle involved with vaping, especially in the beginning until you know what works for you. I hope you will keep at it long enough to enjoy the feeling of being a non smoker.

There are several ways to beat the cravings - first thing in the morning is usually the worst. Vape through them - which you are probably already doing; have a small qty of a higher nic for those times - many start the day with a higher nic and then reduce later on - let's say the first ml of the day is a higher nic and lastly, which should be your last choice - vape through it, but allow a few drags (2 or 3) from a real cig (not highly recommended, but I did that until I could get that past that first one in the morning). Later I did just one puff and later found out I did not need it anymore and it really started tasting nasty...

Oh and do not punish yourself - that is your worst enemy.

I have, but I'm out at the moment, and they're rather expensive, but I guess I'm going to have to break down and try again.

WTA's got me off cigarettes. I just couldn't seem to get past 3 or 4 smokes a day after a couple months of vaping. I then used WTA for the next 6 month's or so, then weaned myself down to just nic juice at 18mg. After another 6 months or so I dropped down to 12mg and that's were I remain with no plans to reduce it again.

I miss the juice vendor I used for WTA. He mixed some really good flavors. He went out of business. Janet and I used to talk hours with him on the phone. He was so knowledgable about flavorings. He would mix me up beta-samples of orange flavors, RY4 flavors and coffee flavors. He even named one of his offerings Janet's Heaven after listening to Janet's suggestions.

Yep - the WTA juice is way more expensive than just nic juice. But for me, it was still a lot less than what I was spending daily on smokes. So if it's what I needed to do to kick the habit it was money worth spent.

Oh how both Janet and I wish he didn't go out of business. Our favorite juice to this day was his MAUI blend. A tropical mix. I'd still buy that from him as straight nic juice sans the WTA just for the taste.
