I woke up again this morning again with a killer headache. I thought diluting my juices would take care of the problem, but it isn't.

Excuse me if you've highlighted this before, but are ya sure it's your vaping?

I woke up again this morning again with a killer headache. I thought diluting my juices would take care of the problem, but it isn't. I am going to vape exclusively my dump bottle and my tobacco for 24, and see what happens.

Those floral teas may be a trigger. If getting away from them resolves the problem, then I will try them individually, without the tea.

While working on hydration, and a bedtime meal so I can take Ibu instead of aceta.

oh geez - I hope you figure it out soon 0mg. Cant be doing your mood any good dealing w/ a headache all the time.

@2legsshrt

Pat your loose is my gain. I'm been using the P3 since I got it. It's rekindled my 'like' for the Provari. It's allowed me to mix and match my toppers from my mechs to the P3 and not worry about the coil Ωs. I typically build 1Ω +/- a bit for the mechs and this range just wasn't compatible w/ my old Provari's.

Tonight I cleaned and built the K4. A good cleaning fixed the tight juice flow control ring. I built it w/ 28g kanthal, 7 wraps, 2.5mm @ 1.4Ωs. It's vaping well from 8 watts to 17 watts. 17 is too warm for me, I like around 12-14 watts. Even Janet likes it at 8 watts.

For comaparison - why I like mechs. The 20mm Simplicity on the left is a nice small package nd it uses the same 18500 batt as the P3. A lot smaller and lighter and give me a fine vape.

No, I am betting on it not being exclusively that-- season of the year, emotions, and whatever else. But each possibility I eliminate clarifies the picture a bit better. I know that my sense of smell is particularly acute right now, so it stands to reason that too much flavoring is part of the problem. Like I just sprayed the mold in my shower with pine cleanser-- I don't have any bleach right now.

Here's how I built the wick for the K4 with rayon. Actually I use the same method for KFL lites and Russians too. Been doing it this way a long time and it's been quite consistent giving me good wick.

Thread enough rayon to be snug almost tight going through the coil.

IMG_3265_zpskrkdgk4o.jpg

Snip off the ends longer than needed.

IMG_3266_zps1jwq7qii.jpg

Cut about 1/2 the amount of tails sticking out from the coil, remove the cut fibers, leaving a shoulder just beyond the end of the wick.

IMG_3267_zpsweliefkt.jpg

Wet the wick good w/ juice and using a needle press into the corner of the build deck hard enough to leave an impression in the wet wick.

IMG_3268_zpsazirhysx.jpg

Lift the wick tails w/ the pin, and cut off right at the 'bottom' of the crease/indentation from above step.

IMG_3270_zpspavosx2y.jpg

Using the pin tuck the cut wick ends into the corner of the build deck.

Assemble the atty, fill with juice, and enjoy the vape. I've never had trouble w/ over wicking or dry hits using the method. YMMV

With the 4.15v - 3.6v of the battery range i use them at.
I don't let mine get that low, many have said that your batts will last longer if you don't let em get below about 3.9 I'm surprised the vape doesn't get pretty bad below that with .4 ohms. But if it works for ya, that's ok I reckin

Seems like with this many drops (approx 10%), I should taste something.
I agree with others that you may have too much flavoring, but if you back it off and that doesn't work, try adding a few drops of apple cider vinegar, usually 3 drops per 10 mls I think, Iffy can confirm

Depends on the flavoring. Some, yes, that will work - if steeped with the cap and tip off, so it can air out.
Thanks, that's what I thought. I always wondered how juice could smell floral until I got that bottle of flavoring. Airing it out, steeping, nuking, etc. didn't do a thing for it.

Just had that lovely six month headache from a medication, didn't even realize that was what was causing it. Over twenty years ago I was dragged screaming, kicking and hissing to a chiropractor because I was close to being completely debilitated by a weeks long headache. I thought chiropractors were quacks. Joke was on me. Took a couple of visits but the headache was mostly relieved on the first visit. You could see on the x-ray my neck was badly kinked, to put it in medical terms, but it scares me to think what a regular doctor might have thought I should have done to fix it. Neck surgery? No thank you. So, um, if I'd been vaping back then, I would have been in heaven. ;)

You are already dripping? That's great and I'm glad you like it. Twisted wire, too! Are you doing your own builds? BTW, you can get the Tugboat V2 clone for cheap from Fast Tech if you are willing to wait for it.

$8.52 Tugboat V2 Styled Rebuildable Dripping Atomizer - stainless steel / 22mm diameter at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Hey Metal, Yeah, I like drippin, late at night when I can relax, but I'm on my Lemo's most of the time. I tried twisting my own 32 and it came out OK (I did about 3 feet of it and the coils came out nice) for doin it by hand since I've Not got a drill, but my arthritis is getting worse so I just buy pre-Twisted UD Kanthal A1 (not pre-coiled) from EVCigarettes.Com, 5m roll of 32G Twisted for about $5.99 and go that route. I use a Coil Master to do my coils, usually Dual 2mm ID spaced 8 wrap on my Magma @ 20W and Lung Hits (or tryin to at least), Please don't get me wrong, I'm not a "Bro, Dude" :vapor:, Ha Ha !! Just mess'in around, It's Fun though. I'm liking 10 wraps of Twisted 30 UD Pre-Twisted again, 2mm ID for my Lemo's (all 5 of them, I love those RTA's) and ... Labo cotton @ 13W MTL, Don't know if that makes me a "Tottle Puffer" or not though :smokie: (the 13W's). This Has Become a Hobby though. I've also got a S.O.D. 5k, Crown, Atomic, and IGO-L (I drilled that one out) 3 Lemo's, 2 Lemo Drops, 3 Sigelei mini 30W's, 1 Sigelei 50W Vr2, SID, iTaste SVD2, 2 1600 mAh Spinner2's, 2 EVOD2's, 2 AeroTanks (a v1 and a v2) 1 AeroTank Mega. I think thats it. Like I told my wife after I got my Spinners and EVODS to get me off of tobacco (August 28, 2014), Thats ALL I need. Then all this other stuff appeared ?? I'm just a Gray Haired Old Fart that likes to vape !!

I'm sure the pros will chime in, but I know that nic doesn't mix as easily with vg, so I add vg, then nic....then shake or mix that really well, then add pg I'm done basically. Then draw up whatever I want from the nic base then add my flavors

Almost the same, but I add the flavors at the same time I add the VG - that way when I shake it a little the flavor is getting some initial mixing also, but yep I do the PG last since that is what I am topping the bottle with.

I'm curious....any particular order to adding ingredients when diy? base/nic/ flavor? nic/ flavor/ base, etc. ?

yeah....yeah....I know...youtube.....rather hear from those I know

I usually mix the nic and flavors first, then the VG, with the PG last. My thought on this is I want to be sure all the nic and flavor make it into the bottle, not left stuck to the side of the graduated cylinder I use for measuring, then the VG because it's thicker, and the PG last because it should wash what's left out of the cylinder.

But most of the recipes I use are pretty tried and true and very simple, I don't experiment very much anymore. If I do try a new flavor, I usually mix a 3ml batch with no nic (substitute PG for the NIC) and try that before I make the "real" stuff.
