Yeah... I got the Orbtronics ones and they don't fit in my SID, but they do fit in my mech mod, so I use them there. My problem wasn't length but width! too fat to fit in the SID!

DITTO ... I have a Sid too, and the first thing I tried to drop in (like that was going to happen) was an Orbtronic.
Thought I had it stuck in there forever.
Why I was stupid enought to push it all the way in is beyond me (except I don't like taking "no way" for an answer)
Anyway I banged it around enough to get a hold of a thin edge with some plyers, and out she came, no worse for wear.

Then I dropped in (this time it did drop) one of the panny's, and ...perfect.
I now have a drawer for the Vamo's and their batteries (long and short), and a seperate drawer for the "other's" with their batteries.
I think I'll try a panny in the vamo ... just to hear it rattle around

PF? PD? huh?

I think she has had her's longer than I have.
I didn't buy my panny's until I got the Itaste, and the Orb's wouldn't fit.
That was just a couple of months ago.

Your not talking to the sharpest knife in the drawer Mike, when discussing vaping gear, but ...
My understanding is the PF is the newer or latest verion of the same battery (the PD)
I think the PD's are getting harder to find now, as they are being gradually replaced.
Both are great batteries, ...and are identical in discription.
The only difference (I think), is one ends in PD, and one ends in PF

Hi all, I just found this thread and am wondering what age you have to be to follow it? :) I do not consider myself old, however sometimes my mind and body do have a few disagreements about that! Oh well being as I am almost 56 I will wait for the official invite to the old section. I am learning all kinds of things here, thanks to all.

Greg .. if your old enough to know better, and you do it again anyway, you belong with us.
Welcome ... oh goodie ... fresh blood :toast:

Have you checked this out? There are some reviews on Indiegogo that I would be concerned about. Google is Indiegogo a scam. I could be wrong but I would check it out.

I know this one is not. It is sponsored by the VP Live vape team. Demi and the dr worked together to set up this crowd funding. They side indigogo becaus it is international.
And yes, as with any croudfunding, make sure you trust the people you give you money to.
I trust both Diminish and Dr Farsalinos.

Ahhh, the things we do for love (10cc)...

And I love my Sigelei #20... if only the fire mechanism was more "robust". I like the size, the look, the handling, and especially the top-side fire button. But it's not consistent... sometimes it roars, sometimes it whispers.

In my quest to find a modification I saw several months ago, which I only skimmed over, which eliminates the spring from the firing mechanism, I just now sat through the most excruciatingly painful video I've ever made myself watch (most) all of. If you have a #20 and want to mod it, don't bother with that one unless you have a strong stomach and a lot of patience. At least now I have a pretty good idea of how to disassemble it.

In the "gee I wish that hadn't happened" department, I broke my Aspire Nova!... had it on the aforementioned #20, dropped it, snapped right off... DANG! So I'm back to my all-time favorite rig, a PT2 with a rebuilt 1.8 coil/wick on the #20 with an Panasonic 18650 (my Iffy battery :)).

I finally sat down with my Igo-L and made it work! yeehaa?... Made a 1.8 ohm coil, 7 wraps of 30g on a 5/64ths drill bit, made a cotton wick, and it works... uh... OK I guess. I still can't see what all the fuss is about with drippers. It doesn't make any more vapor, throat hit, or flavor than my PT2... but it's a lot more trouble, and messy too. Oh well, it can still be my backup/backup/vapocalypse device. Maybe I'll "get it" someday.

If you are not getting more vapor I have a question for you. Did you put the top cap on the IGO-L so that the hole in the top cap is directly in front of the coil? Assuming the coil is good and you do not have too much cotton (choking off juice flow) in it then lack of airflow is likely the issue.

As for leaking, mine never has unless I seriously overdripped.

A couple things to remember...First...water vapor is 10 times the size (diameter) of cigarette smoke. So very little (if any) of it is able to carry the nicotine into the furthest small passages of the lungs where you used to pick up the nicotine from the cigarette smoke.

Second...the mouth/throat has some nicotine receptors but considerably more nicotine receptors are found in the nasal membranes.

I was watching a PBusardo video and the way he vapes caught my eye. He inhales for a couple seconds...then while still inhaling he exhales some of the vape through his nose...then continues to inhale the rest of his hit. (The exhale kinda' involves swallowing but since you know what you're trying to do it's easy to "figure out".)

Once I started vaping that way I find I not only seem to "get" more nicotine but also get noticeably more vapor with each draw.

That's the way I vape and it happened without my thinking about it. I used to smoke like that when I only had a quick smoke break. Works great, but not when trying to stealth vape. Clouds of vapor are not good if you're trying to hide it!

What age are you? Bingo! That's the right age!! Welcome!

I have coils between 2.4 and 2.8. I have two 3400 mah's charged and waiting for my Vamo. Some days I am sucking on my binkie all day, others I might go an hour or two without. What'd be my range? Should I just coax the last of the battery life out of my two twists in the transition, or hold them back fully charged for emergencies?

I'd go ahead and coax whatever life is left out of the battery and then let it go. No point in having a backup if you're not sure it's going to work. These things don't last forever and you'll just end up with a backup drawer full of junk.

It has a puff counter which I've always wondered if I'm vaping more than I used to smoke, lol.

Saw this on Spinfuel:

"There is something, some truth that is spoken about in e-cigarette forums dozens, maybe hundreds, of times a day that for the most part all Vapers know to be true but others, non-Vapers, do not know. It is this; Vapers vape a lot more than smokers smoke.

We all know this to be true. Hell, if I counted the number of puffs/drags I take everyday from my e-cigarette and applied that number to tobacco cigarettes I would be in the category of a “4+ packs a day” smoker.

I’m a chain Vaper, like tens of thousands of others, I vape all the time. Why not? It’s safe. Harmless even. Hell, maybe even beneficial to lung health. And cheap. There isn’t a single reason that I can see for not vaping anytime I have the urge. I call it ‘pacify vaping’ "

Well, you could get a Bobo...

But frequency of vaping isn't necessarily the same as frequency of smoking, anyway. Nic uptake is different - and, of course, partly determined by the nic level one chooses. And since I don't have to go outside to vape (wife quit smoking years ago, so our house has been a non-smoking house since), I don't go out and chain smoke two in the cold rain before starting to shiver...

Additional flavor options...

While I'm reluctant to say, yet, that it's "harmless", it's obviously not nearly as harm - full, so, yeah, why not?? :)

The dual coil is 2.0 oms (I have a magnify glass, lol). What is the purpose of having 2 coils, anyway? What does 2 do that 1 doesn't? It just seems to take a much longer time to start "crackling" than the single coil tanks do. (It is supposed to crackle, right?)

1 VS. 2 Just as in flavs, it's an individual's preference. I prefer duals.

Da 'snap, crackle & pop' is da manifestation of a satisfied coil(s), aka 'coil(s) happy farts'!
