I just sent a ticket to Eric. I am sure he will suggest that, too. Some of the center posts on the clearos are at one point, some are at others. Two are sprung way out. I can screw down most on the adapter before putting the adapter on the VAMO, but that defeats the purpose. I may just have to wash and exchange coils on all of them tomorrow, and fiddle around during the process.Have ya tried 'lifting' both center posts (eGo & clearo) a lil' tad?
It is odd, but I have some clearos that work fine on the one twist I have left, but not on the adapter. They don't quite screw down right on the adapter. I might just have to order some replacement CE5 bases from Eric. My BCC's and mini Davides's work fine. I think it is those threadings that are going wonky. I just don't know how many I will have to order. They are cheap enough.
However, my attys for dripping definitely don't work on the adapter at all-- but do on the Vamo and twist. Which is why the subject came up. I decided to set aside the twist for dripping at panicky times.
Thanks for the advice on that. This one appears to be press-fit. Hopefully Eric will send me a replacement, especially if I sweeten the deal by ordering some bases. Would you happen to know who sells the adjustable ones, if that doesn't work?I know it was only a few bucks but I still contacted the vendor and got a replacement.

ETA I set the adapter on the wire-cutting hole of some needle-nose pliers, took a screwdriver and hammer to it, and now it works on more of them than it did before.
