WOW! And another WOW! Truly amazing that you got that shot! She's beautiful. Did you have to take 600 photos to get it? Are you a photographer too? If not, you should be! I just might make that my avatar! Thanks so much for posting it!!!

I agree this is truly a great photo...we've got two feeders out back and we've see 10 birds fighting over the feeders 5X5. Amazing little creatures. I think some come back every year, we take the feeders down for about 2 or 3 months and they normally return the end of Feb or early Mar. We know it's time to put the feeders up, because we'll see one hovering where the feeders normally hang.

I always try to hurry when I bring the feeder in to clean and refill it because I'll see a little hummer out there flitting about, looking at the place where it was hanging. It's like I've taken away their ice cream cone! I think I did read that the same ones will come back the next year. Geeze, maybe we should only sell our house to someone who will take care of the feeder for us. I'll have to leave our feeder and instructions!

I like to believe in the basic humanity we all have inside us, somewhere .. but, I was reminded once again that I must live in a dream world, and maybe I do .. it saddens me .. it makes me wonder what agenda / motivation some have ..

I am a Patriot, I served my Country in harms way, I proudly display the Flag and I still get choked up when I hear a Patriotic Speech that touches me and I love my Country .. so, forgive me for that ..

Willie, You do not need forgiveness.-You need HONOR !!! You spoke your feelings about something-in my book, that is great. Heartfelt is something too many just don't appreciate !! Some of us do.

I don't know what an x2 battery is. Mike said we do have some adaptors here and maybe even a collar that might fit for my eGo. Look at this, I'm doing the same thing I did with the Raven. It's not even in yet and people are chomping at the bit to get their hands on one of these. I'm probably not going to jump on it immediately, just wait a bit to see when one of the excited others gets it and reports in. They'll probably have them before the co-op sends me my mini vivi novas.

A x2 battery is just like an ego only it has 808 threads. Mine is an auto but they have manual as well. SI is the only place that sells them that calls them a X2. It is similar to an iGo or 808 Vgo battery.

I can't click the like button because it's not good that you're depressed. It's funny, I stopped in the pet store today and said to the owner that they should put depressed people in a room with puppies and kittens. They'd lift anybody's spirits. I wish you a whole room of puppies and kittens!! Hang in there, this will pass. Wish I could help.

(((((((((((((((Jewels))))))))))))))))))) no advice, just a great big hug!!! Thanks for letting us know.

Wow Willie, that shot is amazing!!! I'm bettin you could sell that one if you were of a mind to, and if not, it's still a great shot.

Char.....that little girl is sooooooooo adorable!! I'm guessing your daughter. She is precious!

Dave........great quote!!

Janet.....there is a thing similar (likely the same) as what you're talking about in a testing program now that has an ego connection. The bc t whatever thingy but still seems to be the same thing with the other kanger deals that it has the dubious plastic, and that silly plunger thingy.

Let me know if you find out what the new ones are called and I'll check them out. Yes, I have the Kanger bottom coils. I'm not thrilled with the plunger thingy, but can live with that. Some of them seem to leak a lot from the bottom when I'm filling them so it's a whole process to fill. I hate wasting the juice and it makes a mess. I'm passing them onto my friend who likes them. My quest continues which is why I was hopeful about the X2-T3. I wonder why they're still making tanks with the plastic that cracks.

I'm with you!! I can't believe anyone is making anything with the leechy plastic.....makes no sense to me! Cept, I do have to keep reminding myself that we're dealing with people who don't consider it odd at all to use crap materials in their products. I don't mean that offensively, just as a statement of fact. They aren't known for quality or craftmanship like we expect here in America.

I never tried one of the kanger t2's, because of the leechy plastic, does it have a plunger?

I've been using the T2's for a couple of months and I haven't had a problem with leechy tanks. The first versions had some problems with the drip tips cracking but all my tanks have been good with no cracks and I've used juice like hot cinnamon that cracked the older type clearos.

I guess they figure you'll have to buy more of them as you have to replace them. I'd rather not even have to replace the heads, but nothing lasts forever. I have a coil-making master in the house, but he hasn't figured out how to make the plastic tanks - yet.

Awesome - great shot Willie - really like that the eye was captured so well. Mind telling what camera/lens you were using?

Nikon D5100 with a 55-200 Nikon Zoom / VR off / handheld, no tripod / manual focus since auto focus is never fast enough on something like this .. 800 shutter speed / 5.6 or so on the aperture for a medium depth of field .. continuous shot mode, probably fired off at least 80 shots to get this one .. I was maybe 4 feet from the bird at the time .. minor adjustments in Photoshop .. and although the eye highlight was actually part of the photo, you can easily add these kind of things with a brush in most photo software ..
