Well I don't know whether to ignore this rant or respond. I think you are ranting to the wrong people. I don't think you have ever posted on this thread before and are out of line to come here and cause a problem that hasn't been mentioned on this thread since early this morning.
I don't know if you read the message that Bluesman sent or not but you say people on this thread posted mean and spiteful things. I think you are mixed up on who said what. Bluesman was out of line and he was called out on it now you can blame it on whatever you want but he needs to apologize to the person he hurt and be done with it.
If you would like to discuss this further I would think it would be better and less confrontational through PM's.

I do not need to be preached to about drugs and their possible consequences. My bride endured steroid (for reduced swelling and inflammation) psychoses, post emergency surgery for a hemorrhaging cancerous brain tumor; the most bizarre experience I've ever lived through!

You may have read about the wrestlers that killed their families and then committed suicide due to steroid psychoses. Do you know why? Because they had the seed of destruction within their psyche. With my bride it wasn't destruction nor meanness that drove her. It was protection of her family! Did you catch that word, protection. Not attacks, not meanness, no lashing out; just pure love and concern for her loved ones!!!

Have you read the offending debasing PM? I have! So excuse me for sticking up for an 'innocent' as opposed to overlooking an 'unfortunate attack' by one of our members.

This has been pretty much a non-event in this thread for much of today. But now you're here, and I suggest if you would care to discuss this further that you PM me. And yes, I'll keep it private.

The last time some innocent chit chat got the door slammed shut and locked.

This is the "innocent chit chat" post that got posted in the old group that many of us were quite offended by:

Bambi? All my driving life I've daily driven through herds of 'em and bragged for 25 years or more over being the only one I knew that hadn't hit at least two. Then one morning just before 0600 on the way home from work....BAM!!! A 10 mph or less strike. County and local farmer hadn't bush hogged the right of way; I'd braked and made the 90 off of Rockport onto Rockeast Road....hadn't even had time to get on the accelerator when a deer stepped out of the 5' high weeds immediately in front of me.

Damned thing strutted over in a yard across the road and just glared at me with red eyes....I could feel hate from them. I got out of the truck, pulled my buck from my pocket, and headed across the road to cut its throat....I was really peed off. It lowered its rack and charged me....quickest I ever got back in my truck. I recalled all the fences they'd knocked down and ate my wife's gardens and skinned the bark off my trees; and, how sad I felt about my truck....not even a year old. Sold it last year....man, I loved that truck. So, from then on whenever I've seen a deer on the side of the road or on it, I grab a lower gear and floorboard the accelerator. Now I can't even hit one intentionally. This is all I think about when I see or hear about a deer: (insert pic of dented truck here)

That's not "innocent" to me. I've been sick for a few weeks so I'm just coming back into this. I just wanted to remind people who may have never even *seen* that post, that it was what started the problems. It wasn't about hunting or fishing in a sportsman-like manner - it was hunting "bambi" with a truck.

This has nothing to do with the caff. issue, I just wanted to make sure that that post was shown so that people might get an idea of why so many folks got upset.

Gee am I glad that I finally felt well enough to come online for a little while tonight and have to relive this.

I've been gone. I have no idea what was said as the original comment has been pulled down. As far as trying to start trouble - I never knew I wasn't part of this thread. I don't post much but have been reading most of it since the split.

As I said, I wasn't talking about the Caff. situation - I'm out of that one altogether - completely. I was just clarifying the "innocent chit chat" statement, that's all. I wish no ill on anyone in this thread. I just think that anyone who is newer and never read all the old thread would ever understand that it wasn't an innocent comment, that's all.

As far as joining a Jr. High School facebook page? Look who's being insulting now. I've never said anything but kind words to you tx and you know it. Look at my postings for the last 3 weeks - I think I've maybe managed 5? I came online tonight and I came into this thread to try and understand what I was seeing in the other thread. I simply made a comment on the only part of a statement that was made that I objected to as I have no knowledge about, nor would I wish to drag out what seems to be a bad situation, because I don't think I really need to stir anything up when I don't know what went down!

Did I say anything bad about caff? Nope - he and I have never had a problem, we've joked around together. Did I grab pom-poms and start shouting go team Blue! Nope, didn't do that either.

Please don't put words in my mouth. And why is it "you folks?" There are plenty of people who frequent both threads - when did we become enemies? And if it's "you folks" vs "us folks" as it seems you're saying - why are the same people still posting in both threads?

We don't need to turn this into a freaking war - especially those of us who have NO CLUE what was said.

I can only stand on what Dusty the Mod said about conduct, and I haven't done anything to warrant the treatment I've just received here.

Again, I wish everyone here the best - no more, no less than I would expect in return.

It's purely coincidence that that occurred. The post I responded to was something like 7 pages back - how did I know where it would land? I just told you I've been away sick for 3 weeks. I'm sorry that the post before mine came across to you as confrontational.

I was simply trying to rectify that the innocent problem from ancient times wasn't so innocent for some of us. I was NOT trying to stir the pot - I was trying to post a fact.

I'm not try to pick a fight or stir anything up - that's not how I am. I simply wanted to clarify a fact. That's all. It's why I said it had nothing to do with what's going on. I just thought it deserved some clarification - that's it.

I hereby give up trying to defend myself (when I shouldn't have to). There's no way that I'm going to ever be seen as someone just trying to clear something up - it'll always be, "That time that daisy came in and stirred stuff up." If that's not how you view it say so, if not - please take this to PM now if anyone would like to comment to me further.

That's my request, I respectfully ask that you observe my wishes.

Gotta say your timing wasn't the best; especially in the wake of the caffe/blues issue. Please believe me, that's just an observation, not a condemnation by any means!

Also, another part of that ancient history is that the ol' orig thread was requested to be closed and not mod initiated. As a result, most posters in that ol' thread know exactly the 'here' and 'there'. It's no secret. Considering that some of our newer active contributors don't know the genesis and may wonder what's going on with the sudden history lesson, it's understandable that they don't appreciate some of the angst.

Regardless, life, the ECF and vaping will go on! Glad to see ya back in da air (as per avi).
