what sort of airflow do you run at depth?
i got fedup with that last build already, it wasnt quite hitting the spot, no doubt the huge VD is taming things down to much...
this is the first time ive gone below .2 ..

Went back to my normal dual macro coils. 24ga 4/5 wrap .28 ohms. Thanks to Drifter for the tutorial on iTeo's wicking.

both the coils are still joined like a sleeper
she's flickering between .18-.19Ω
i'm not using that size airhole it shows in the bottom pic.. it spun around to that when i took the cap off
i also have 3x 32g A1 braided, 1/16id dual on the atomic at about .2ohm and that has dense dense clouds, i've been braiding up 3 strands and then running my thumb nails along the length of the wire to tighten it all up, imo they are far better then the 26g g-plat, clouds & taste wise

Do you actually braid the wire or is it twisted? If you braid it, doesn't the stiffness of the wire make that difficult?

no not twisted, Braided creates gaps that spits clouds of flavourful vapour, look..this pic is of a 1second fire up with a single coil...
even have a little smoke ring to the right of the coil
this following pic is 26g, just to show you the gap's you create with the braid
but i wouldnt use 3x26g braided or even 3x28g, it seem's that the thinner the wire you use the better it is, 30g isnt bad but 32 is better, i have a dual 5 wrap, 3x32g, 1/16 id at about 0.4Ω & it chucks thick plumes i cant get with anything else, its some crazy stuff for sure

Dual 6/5 wrap w/ 26 gauge kanthal. Came out to .29 ohms. Hits pretty good for it being in a nimbus.

Atmomixani 3D with dual vertical 26 Gauge coils at 0.3 Ohms and Rayon. I think this is where Rayon really shines. IMO
no, it bends easy, what i do is cut off three lengths of 32g A1 kanthal about 6inches each, then using two set's of pliars, hold all three with one set about 5mm from the end, while twisting together with the other pliars, just to keep all the ends together so they dont move while you start braiding.
With braiding say you have the three wires and you start from the left first, so you grab both the left and middle wire together and you twist the wires so the left comes over the middle and the middle comes under the left, then you grab the right and middle, twisting the right over middle and middle under right, and you would continue this untill youve braided but i find that doing it this way makes some inconsistancies in the braid so i normally just run through the length by alternating from left & right wire moving it into the middle position.
when the braid is finished grab both the pliars and twist off the end so it doesnt loosen off, then run either your thumb nail or a bit of plastic up and down the braid to tighten up the braid, then your ready to wrap your coil's.
It may seem like a lot of effort but it really isnt, takes about 5mins to braid up about 6inches and tighten it all.
besides, its well worth it! IMOFor me 32g is the only one worth braiding, you dont get the same results with other gauge wire. And between 4 & 7 wraps on each coil of a dual seems to be the magic number for me, 3 is to hot and 8 is to slow
.5-.18 ohms with 32g is the range ive used.

I have been using 24g for a few weeks now trying single, duals and parallels but havn't found anything I have been satisfied with.
I switched back to my favourite 26g nichrome below with a 5x2 wrap parallel coil at 0.21 ohm's and am really pleased with it.
In comparison to the 24g it heats up quicker, produces more vapour and flavour IMO.
I may be doing something wrong with the 24g as I know a lot of you guys love it.
