Btw, you think that center post/block is C464 brass? Or possibly leaded??

You think right. It is Chromed brass instead of the advertised Stainless Steel. But that's Fast Tech for you. They have a small print disclaimer: " Stainless Steel (minor parts may made by non-SS)"
They also advertise it as having two air holes. But they don't tell you that both of those air hole are on one side of the top cap.
Who knows, to them the center positive post may be considered as a minor part. But, for $7.94... Who's complaining?

Hahaha fasttech should include taps n dies with their little blue screwdrivers!

You are joking, but I've noticed that you are still using FastTech's non Stainless Steel micro Alien Wrench M2.0 - 0.4 Screws in your Drippers. Be warn: It is a health issue ingesting and/or inhaling carbon steel rust.

Please, get these guys 100 for $5.93 Stainless Steel Machine Screw, Plain Finish, Pan Head, Phillips Drive, 4mm Length, M2-0.4 Threads (Pack of 100): Amazon.com: Industrial & Scientific

Or give me your mailing address and I'll send you 10 of them for free. Just to save your health :toast:

The key word in my Repair Kit was: "Fast Tech" :)
Oh, lol. Got it, I thought it was a repair kit sold by FT, not essential tools for buying from FT [emoji3].

On the brass I would do a bath in vinegar and peroxide to remove any surface lead. A quick search will turn up the exact steps. It's an old brewers trick.

Vape safe brotha.

BTW, Origen owners:

The screws that AMDTrucking is calling-out are the same thread spec Norbert uses in his Origens. You just need to get those to ditch that allen key.

McMaster-Carr

Edit:

I believe I did also get the 4mm in length.

Yes, they are the same 4.0 mm in length only $0.85 cheaper.

I have couple of dozens of Fast Tech RDA'a and those screws work in everyone of them.

The 26650 Mod RDA's use M3.0 - 0.5 Screws and Foggers, Kayfuns, Russians are all M1.6 - 0.35 could be purchased here: 10 for $5.87 http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00917TYDM/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Do you like flat head screws or are those just what's readily available?

For the other poster, you didn't come off badly. That's the one big area where authentic vs clone differences can really become apparent. Nonexistent quality control, running CnC machines too long between tool sharpening or replacement, etc. But when you're paying just 10 cents on the dollar for a copy you sometimes have to fix the problems. Its just for some of us, buying an authentic just isn't fiscally responsible so we've got to make do with what we can afford. Granted, you can get clones that are beautifully made too, just the luck of the draw sometimes.

I am not usually a "cloud chaser", but This build is producing some serious clouds for me right now! This is in my Tobh V2.5. 5-wrap 24ga Kanthal with coils perpendicular to the air holes.... .3 Ohms.... I wish I could take a pic of the clouds I am getting, but I feel like all cloud pics look the same....you really gotta see them in person!

Actually no. It's my cheapo Chi You bus atty. I took all my attys I don't really use like Patriot, Nimbus, Chi You and drilled them with those step holes with a 1/16th drill bit.

I want those attys also but might as well try copying the air holes in those I saw and see if they work. Got to be honest this thing chucks after those drill holes. Sound is crazy ripping the air. Straight lung hits and clouds like I've never been able to vape. :)
