What's the concept behind the holes drilled in that way? I have a couple that I would try it on, easy to drillActually no. It's my cheapo Chi You bus atty. I took all my attys I don't really use like Patriot, Nimbus, Chi You and drilled them with those step holes with a 1/16th drill bit.
I want those attys also but might as well try copying the air holes in those I saw and see if they work. Got to be honest this thing chucks after those drill holes. Sound is crazy ripping the air. Straight lung hits and clouds like I've never been able to vape.

My 2 week old 0.8ohm dual coil in a Tobh clone, getting close to needing a rewick soon, might do that tonight but thought I'd share as in all likelihood I'll replace it with some new coils due to my obsession with coil building lately
They say that it makes some kind of vortex in the chamber on the draw swirling the vape. Also when you are pulling hard more air to feed it. The two bottoms holes are directly in front of the coils. The next sequence of coils just stagger them like stairs. Pretty easy to drill but take your time. That 1/16th drill bit snaps quick. Get some new sharp ones just in case.
Recoiled the Zenith clone yesterday with dual parallels. 28ga, 6/5 wraps, 5/64 ID. Vapes like a champ!
Just something I was experimenting with tonight it came out a little low for my liking tho I might pull it out and recoil it with a couple more wraps... but does it chuck some clouds and the flavor is fricken amazing
Nothing spectacular, removed the triple twisted 28ga 0.6ohm coil from one of my Tobh clones and decided to redo it in a nice dual coil setup.

They look great buddy! Have you tried parallels yet, I have grown to love them even more than twisted 28ga
So far my favorite ultra-low build (Ω < 0.12) to date is the dual parallel twisted 28g... it was just so dense and full without being overly hot.
For pure flavor though I've been diggin just a straight dual 26g ~0.4-0.5Ω

Tried this way of coiling in the TOBH after Drifter showed me his setup. I think this way was pretty cool. Didn't have to tweak it much.
I put a new build in my Stillare, quad vertical coils with 28g .34 overall resistance. The coil configuration works great with the Stillare's big wide slot airhole!

2mm id, 28g A1 but i put some figures into the calculator & worked out i could get .2Ω with 26g, so now i have one virtually the same but 26g, one less wrap each but 7/64 instead of 3/32, i havent used any other atty since i got the W6, its really good 
Parallel dual coil 28ga, I think 2mm 4 wraps each. Worked out.to roughly 0.24ohms. Might be a wee bit too hot for me

15/14 wrap dual 30 gauge around a 2mm screwdriver at 1.76 Ohms wicked with rayon and fired between 20 and 27.5 watts (6 to 7 volts) on my Magma.
