Before you get another Quasar, have tried VERITAS? It's all about the flavor.

NUwOX0t.jpg
That is an atty, the Veritas, that I've been thinking about since the day it came out, I have had a clone in my watch list for a couple days as I've been talking to the seller trying to confirm I would be able to use it w a hybrid adapter, I doubt the pin is adjustable and I needed to make sure it's sticking out enough. He sent me a pic last night and it looked good, I need a couple cheap / Clone attys for my new XXIX, but when I went to order it this morning he raised his price.
Does anyone have a Veritas Clone, can I get some more details, favor is great huh? If it's a clone please let who makes it and if the pin is long enough to be used with the hybrid adapter.

Any other attys for flavor chasing?
That I can possibly get clones of stateside...?
Thanks

Tommy,

It is the clone made by Together-Better-Co-operation. "ToBeCo"

You see that threaded positive stud with two nuts? That's your Positive Center Pin that goes all the way down to 510 connector. It is a solid piece. You can adjust it up and down any which way you want. As far as hybrid connector is concerned, I only know this one: https://www.fasttech.com/p/1666400 that allows you to Hybrid any 510 Atomizer to Nemesis mod. And this one: https://www.fasttech.com/p/1662400 to Hybrid kayfun 3.1 ES to Nemesis Mod. And this one: https://www.fasttech.com/products/0/10009270/1808300-hybrid-adapter-for-stingray-x-mod For Stingray X Mod.

Thanks bud I want sure if that Centre pin ran all the way down and was able to be adjusted so I haven't pulled the trigger yet, I ordered a magma and another quasar today, I'm kinda regretting the magma already BC it's so ugly imo, maybe I can turn it down on a lathe and make it smooth on the sides.

I just got an XXIX BTW, that's what I was talking about, I wanna get some more drippers, clones first, just to see how I like em, I love the way the tobh look but I don't think I'll get good flavor...

Any experience n insight into the different versions of tobh's, and any newish drippers compared to the origin v2. And quasar. Those are the latest attys I've had but I lost them both recently..

Any input is appreciated!

I just got a few clones you might be interested in, I'm doing the same thing (clone first to test and real thing later if I like it).

The Patriot is a solid rda but it tends to get a bit hot. The flavor is competitive with almost anything I have tried so far. I use it mainly for low ohm builds so its hard to hold flavor. For a sub-ohm build I had to drill out the the posts and top cap.

The Plume Viel is a pretty sweet rda, the deck has 2 positive posts (set up in a block similar to a Kayfun) so it makes dual and especially parallel dual builds easier to work with. The air is pretty spot on but not very adjustable and further the drip well is pretty shallow.

My favorite of the group I got lately is the Cerberus, a triple post rda with separate posts and drip wells (kinda) for each coil. The positive block rotates so you can vary the build you are working with to accommodate many different styles of coils and the holes in it will accept 22 ga without being drilled out.

The airflow on the Cerberus is adjustable, but at .3 ohms I love it wide open so it doesn't get screaming hot.

On top of those I picked up a couple pyrex drip tips and have some rayon coming in the mail, so when that comes in and I can get my Japanese cotton ordered I should be in heaven!

My second build ever.
8 wraps 28 gauge kanthal. Parallel on helios clone.
reads at .6 ohms on my cana mod.
Super fast heat up, great flavor. Not as dense vapor as the single micro coil I had before.
I may rewick it to see if I can get a denser vapor.
That's a nice parallel for only a second build. Looks cleaner than mine for sure!

First parallel build on my new tobh clone, 2nd cotton build so far. I've been building dual micro coils for quite a while now, finally figured it was time to get away from silica and basic dual micros, decided to try out a parallel with cotton. I've since re-wicked and used much less cotton than this and it is MUCH better now than this one was. ~.6ohms (bounce between .58 and .61). 28g kanthal, 5/64" bit, 4 wraps. Wish the vapor had better density, but I think i'll try a dual continuous parallel in the near future and see if that helps.

EDIT:

So I just rewrapped a setup, dual parallel with 28g kanthal, wrapped 4 times each around a 5/64" bit. A nice toasty .25ohms :vapor:
