Killer 705, FC-2000 1/8th ceramic wick, 32g Kanthal, 2 strands 3mm silica tied down with 32g NR wire to direct juice, 1.4 ohms
Smoktech RDA Octopus, 400 ss mesh, 32g Kanthal, 1.0 ohms <-- Sucks, all throat-hit, no vapor, lots of flavor though. It was build for a Provari v2, hence all the wraps. I'm pretty sure I messed something up along the way too to only get 1.0 ohm out of it, but such is life I suppose.

On your octopus you have your wraps far too loose, that is why you are getting straight throat hit and no vapor. 1 ohm is probably about right that means each coil is probably around 2 ohms alone, also make sure they are exactly the same length and same number of coils
^Thanks, but I do know how to do it, it's the actual execution that I have trouble with. The wraps were nice and tight before I had to wrestle the leads into the posts. No matter, I was just tinkering with it out of boredom.
No, and I appreciate it, apologies if I sounded rude. I just meant to state that I get what was supposed to happen, but that's not how it worked out in the end.
11 wraps of 28 gauge Kanthal micro coil. 1.5ohms with a cotton wick in an Igo-L.
How did you find the vape at 1.5ohms and did the 28swg heat up quick enough.
Prior to micros I have been using 3/4 wrap 0.9 to 1.1 ohm and silica
I would say this equals or betters vapour production
I am still striving to find more flavour and may revisit the low ohm's with bigger diameter / fewer wraps or flirt with lower ohm micros.
Huge positives I have found with the micros are:
Consistency of desired ohms.
Ease and speed of changing cotton wicks and dry burning coil in between.
Adjustment of coil position.
My journey continues, primarily in search of flavour.

Will the following improve flavour???
Method of lengthening coil combined with 2 or 3 smaller diameter air holes perfectly horizontal and dead centre of longer coil ?
Lengthen coil and keep ohms below 1.75 ish by somehow reducing posi tail length and possibly 29swg
Method of plugging existing air hole and calculate size of 3 air holes to equal 1.35mm to 1.4mm single air hole.
