am thinking of getting into gennies... would you say a Prometheus is better than a Kraken? if so why?
Sorry I got to this a little late Jeff lol, I've never had a Kraken so I don't want to give you a wrong answer. But I know the Prometheus is perfect for someone that likes big vapor, and wants a reservoir. If your OK with sacrificing just a little bit of flavor, for RDA-like vapor (pretty unheard of for most gennies), then I'd say go for it.
The Kraken looks like a fine piece of equipment too just going off of pictures, if I had to choose though I think I'd go with the Prometheus just because I like the look of the deck better (just my personal preference). The Prometheus has HUGE airflow stock as another plus as well, the Kraken's is quite small by comparison, but I'm sure it could be drilled. If your an absolute flavor chaser, and need your super dense flavor, then I'd put my money on the Kraken for sure. The prometheus was no slouch at all, the flavor is still great, but was a little less flavorful than your average RDA (at wide open airflow).
If you do go with the Prometheus, and want faster wicking, I drilled my wick holes out and it turned into a whole 'nother animal. I can vape sub-ohm builds on cotton in it no problem, and if it even comes close to dry hitting, a quick tip upside down with the new holes wets it up pretty quick. Here's a post I did on it:
