A lot of people use an electric hand-drill. I just grip the ends of the strands with a scissor-clamp, if you know what those are, and just twist it until it's twisted enough.

I also like to braid my 32g and 36g, and also do twists with the braids sometimes. Have found that texturized wires like you get with a twist give more flavor and better vapor than straight wire.

ROFL... I could just see me with a drill, it would probably look a bit like me with a floor buffer. :D By scissor-clamp, do you mean a hemostat? How would I know if it's twisted "enough"?

More flavor is always a good thing, but more vapor, definitely not. I nearly choke to death on what my dripper puts out with a 2.2 ohm coil at 5.5w, and getting the kayfun meant I had to significantly decrease my PG level or *it* choked me to death, with the PG throat hit, but I have to be careful not to go too far with the VG, or the vapor will choke me to death! Asthma is hell. I figure the only reason I was able to smoke all those years was because of all that junk BT puts in the tobacco so your lungs can stand it.

Did you know, in the early 20th century, when cigarettes were first catching on, they were called "asthma cigarettes"? Because if you have asthma, it's important to cough, deeply, to clear the bronchioles. They actually thought that tobacco was medicine, back then.

enough is whatever you think is enough, LOL
:D

yeah, like a hemostat, but without the curve at the tip

by "better" vapor I mean... better. not hotter, more deep and flavorful

I think when I first posted this I said it was my favourite coil but then went away from parallels and don't think I have found anything to better it.

I am going to invest some time revisiting parallel coils.

I remember when you posted that what seems like way back when.. Before they were all the rage.

That build was sexy back then, now it's more so a testament. Way ahead of the curve on that one brotha.
