    (CC doesn't get my humor.)
Sorry, I can be a little thick sometimes.

On a side note, I used to live near you. I was on Van Buren, off of Young's Circle.
Now I'm in Taxachusetts. In the winter. It sucks not being able to go to the beach on Christmas.

I still don't know why a Scottish Wick Roll is called a Scottish Wick Roll. Or whatever it's called. Or whatever it is.
I don't know why it's called that either, but I tried it for the first time last week. You can hit it over and over, and it still has juice in it. It takes a LOT of juice to prime it, though.

And now you're surrounded by Patriots fans. The worst fans of them all. Because the Patriots never got caught cheating. Not now, not ever. In fact, they don't cheat and Rodger* Goodell didn't burn the spygate evidence.

I believe it was a Scottish gentleman who first posted the video on YouTube a while back before the hype caught up.

Very simple, dual 2x26/34 fused Claptons. Wicks great, has great flavor. I usually add a staging wire. This time I didn't, and I used all nichrome 80. Thing vapes fantastic.

Chef, what's the ID and ohm on those. Just did the same ones minus a wrap and the coil was clipping the rda sleeve. Took some jiggering to get it right. I went 3 mm and 6 wrap and ohmed out at .18. Not getting quite the hit I was expecting on my Dimitri

This one is 2.5mm and 0.17Ω

Thanks, I had a pair of kanthal fused 26's in there previously at 2.5mm ID and they were fantastic at about .2 0hms. Went to Ni80 to take advantage of my Dimitri's battery range without pushing to hard so I increased coil ID and ended up at .18 ohms. I'll rebuild this weekend and see if it's improved.

So I did the whole Scottish roll wick thing and wasted a full pad of cotton, & it pretty much holds the same amount of juice as my normal wicking method. It's fluffier though I gotta give it that.

These framed staple aliens really are awesome. Takes a lot of prep work but it's definitely worth it. So much flavors.

What's your normal wicking method? The Scottish roll made a huge difference to me. My normal wicking, without utilizing the juice well, lasts about 7-10 pulls. With the Scottish roll, I gen get over 25. Plus, I believe the cotton (just because of it's mass) will last longer in a Scottish roll.

I usually take the pad, cut the strips to fit my coils, rip off the top and bottom layers of the cotton & roll it against my hand, cut one side at an angle so it's easier to fit through the coil and pull it through. Pretty standard I'd think.

Edit: side note. Just saw this the other day on vapingcheap.com.

I think it's being sold for like $16 on gearbest. Not a bad deal but I don't like pre-twisted or pre-claptoned wire.
It's funny, the "6 dreams come true" part.

Since I'm not seeing any current Ni200 builds on ECF ... just thought I'd add a couple daily use Nickel coils as I don't see many pure Ni200 claptons. I've not done much on ECF for a while and sort of checked out last year when TC came out. I like nickel wired coils and while some hybrids have been ok with Ti core clapton nickel wrapped (Ti is much easier core) I prefer the cool vape from all Nickel.

2 strand 29ga wrapped 36ga both tempered (0.1 ohms). A tight fit in the Nuppin and this wire works better in an atty with a bit more room.

29ga single wrapped 36a in a Divo (tiny space but great flavor)

Hobo has a pretty good space for coils...

It might not be the prettiest, but it is DEFINITELY a "working wick and coil setup". This thing has both great flavor AND vapor!

    Framed multi-strand Clapton (lightly hammered)
    30x40N, 2x26N, wrapped in 40N

Have you fired that coil without the top cap on to see if any wraps glow while juiced, have you noticed your gap between the wick and last wrap? coughcough :D
