Some people are tired of the ProVari is crap and outdated troll posts- because it doesn't have 3 buttons, VW, is not made of mystery metal, isn't telescoping, doesn't have a LCD screen, doesn't have Ego threading, doesn't have USB, can't jump start my car, no adjustable post,no puff counter nor vibrating tip... Most of those gimmicks are what makes PRC made gimmick mods fail...

Very impressive stuff, from pretty much every perspective.

I'm not sure I'll be upgrading when come out with a V3, but that's mainly because all of my V2's are still working as well as they were when I first got them (all approx. 2 years old). They've all be wrapped & unwrapped, dropped & rolled, "thwacked" (more times than I can count), and none have been anything close to "babied".

Marvelous videos, marvelous devices.

The next time anyone decides to harp on about the price of the Provari, I'll post Phil's videos.
There are very few items manufactured in this way anymore, anywhere in the world.

It's obvious that the employees at Provape actually care about the product they produce - this reflects in the performance and quality of the Provari.

I guess if I was so abusive to my mods I needed this I would get it. But if v3 has better specs it would be great. But 2.5 doesn't even have close to specs since its a dinosaur. I couldn't vape on it at all except for trying new juices on trusty 357. But to each there own. If it did meet my requirements I would grab one in a heheartbeat after watching the video

3.5 amp limit is perfect for most people (including myself) and if I do feel like low res then I'll use a mech.
The fact that the Provari has been around long enough to call it a 'Dinosaur' is a testament to it's popularity, endurance and performance.

This whole sub ohm thing is pretty recent - and not half as widespread as people think it is.

The provari was (is?) a nice mod, but so was the Model T from Ford..... It just time to update the thing. I'm sorry for the provari faithful (which remind me a lot of Apple fan boys back before the iMac/iPod and apple's current success).

I'm sorry, this hobby/industry is growing as fast or faster than PC's and Smartphone's did a few years ago. At it's most basic, an ego stick does the same thing... you press the button and it powers the atty and you get vapor. None of us here reading this, or contributing to this forum care about that. I think most of us WANT the latest and greatest... we want the tech, we want to bells and whistles, we want to cool displays, we want the cutting edge.... why? I think most of us are obsessed with this hobby - I know I am.

Is Provape a great company? It sure looked like it to me... Do they make a quality product? absolutely. Do they stand behind their product? absolutely. ARE THEY DATED? ABSOLUTELY.

I wasn't as impressed with the video as many were, why? because I expected them to do most of the things I saw in that video... because they do make a good product. But its what? 2 years old according to them.... Think about how far this industry has come in the last year... LEAPS AND BOUNDS....

They can continue to make the Provari in its current state for the purists who will no doubt read this as an attack on Provape and the Provari... which it is not. But release something more CURRENT and up to the standards of todays HIGH END MODS for the rest of us. Their the company with all the employees with aerospace backgrounds, and rocket scientists building, engineering and designing these things.... They've ridden the current board and system for a good long time, built a brand... now develope and release something that "knocks the socks off the market" again.............. don't just paint it, coat it or engrave it and call it a new and improved version... The best provari since Thursday.

Sorry......... but in tech, and this is tech people, years are a loooong time to have essentially the same product, regardless how reliable.

Oh boy as I type this, I can hear the thunderous clicking/tapping on their keyboards by Provari's owners to respond to this:

Some interesting points of view here.

I was just thrilled to be able to give you a look inside ProVape and that most people really enjoyed it.

I think most will really like the new P3 and some of the innovations it contains. I'm happy to say that it remains in-line with the core concepts and philosophies at ProVape.

Those that require a GI2 to make clouds at 100 watts will need to continue to look elsewhere. :)

I think current ProVari owners will love v3, while the subohm kids and those easily impressed with 'vaping technology' will say it is outdated. It seems the core philosophy at ProVape is to make a mod that works and works every time, not add features those who just want a consistent and reliable vape don't want, won't use or that compromise the reliability and durability of the device...

I was only surprised that they get their machined products from another source. I would think they'd have their own machine shop for their rigorous standards, and then eventually start making their own atomizers

I've gone through 3 provaris and find them to be a more than capable device. my personal vaping preferences expanded outside of what a provari can provide. that being said, I would love for them to offer a new or revised product that could accommodate me at where I currently am with my vaping habits

this won't stop me from recommending the product, mind you
