I even use the dental brushes to extend the life of my Aspire Nautilus coils. Just put the brush in the coil head spin and rinse the brush, dry and repeat until brush is somewhat clean. This extends the life of the coil a few days.

i get that trying to save some time and/or money by trying to save the wick by cleaning only the coil but for a couple of minutes it takes me to dryburn/rewick imho its not worth the time as once i have the tank open i might just as well change out the wick, you might of bought some time but not much.

unless the price of rayon is going through the roof these days because of all the new rayonattis out there, i only have +95% left of my $5 40ft box i bought last year .

    imho, ymmv - yadda yadda

I'm the same way... I only baby them if I'm trying to see how much I can get out of it, but most of the time, I change 'em once a week or so (depending on juice). I usually even go ahead and throw a new coil in, while I'm at it. Dry burning cleans it, but it seems to gunk up faster afterwards... maybe it's just me, but a fresh coil lasts longer than a dry burnt coil... or maybe I'm too picky?

I also find a dry burned coil will gunk up sooner than a freshly wrapped one.

I took the notched coil out of the Theorem and put in a fused Clapton, very nice!

If anyone is having trouble getting the glass tank off the Theorem, replace those Green Gummy Bear o-rings with some 19x17x1mm ones. Much easier without the risk of breakage.

Yep! I'm really interested in seeing how that extra temp sensor works. If it truly measures vapor temp, then it could change things a lot...
Honestly, I wasn't too excited about the coiler because I'm just so used to using my little jeweler's screwdrivers... but it's a pretty neat lookin' gadget!

I don't mind coils too much... the only one that's tricky for me is the Stumpy... getting everything lined up right, and then the leg length for a centered coil. I'm kind of used to it now, though. You'll get the hang of it... just change your coils once a week. Nothing reinforces technique like repetition!
