I'm torn between RTAs and RDAs. I love both and can't quite decide which one I like more. The good thing is I don't have to but I do kind of wish I could decide which I like better and concentrate on buying either RTAs or RDAs. First world problems and all that.

anavidfan - Have you looked into a Derringer rda? Very small, good airflow, great flavor. I'd highly recommend it. I enjoy my Magma, too, but the Derringer beats it.

I always use tanks when out and about. I use them at home at times but mostly use drippers. Oh, and uh, my Hobo beats my Derringer.

That sounds better. Go do the conversion on £102. After shipping and tax you might as well go with VapinArt methinks

Oh wait, no tax at VA actually, so most definitely. I just paid for the Chalice through them. If anyone was going to get taxed, it's a Californian

Ha! Well, I live in Florida and have to pay 7% state tax on anything I buy from VapinArt.

Haven't had a chance to try a Hobo yet. Didn't really want to buy a clone because I didn't find any that had good reviews and I haven't been able to find any authentic ones in stock. It's on my short list to purchase along with the Tugboat V2, Ology, Veritas and Aeolus. Then I still need to grab an Estia, Tilemahos V2, Erlprinz, Rose V2 and now with all the recent talk the Flash e Vapor V3 is getting my attention. Too many attys, not enough money.

Had to show my RTA buddies real quick. I finally understand the massive love for REOs.

BTW, you really don't realize how small one of these are until you hold one. (hint: smaller than a pack of cigs or credit card).

Just waiting on my Chalice to ship, or even the Nuppin v2 + black AFC sleeve that I just ordered.

I promise friends, will still love my RTAs, but I just had to get my squonk on finally!!!

I really like that super light LP Reo Grand :) If I ever get back into squonking, That would be my #1 choice :=)
Yeah, and guess what, I already got tracking on the Nuppin 30 minutes later. Wahoo!!!

I wasn't sure on snagging the SL door for a regular LP (wasn't a fan of SL all the way around), but having the door SL looks really nice, gives just enough of a peek at what's going on under the hood, without feeling nekkid

I would love a small setup like that for work but I'm too much of a pansy to use a mech
In terms of possible shorts? Exploding batteries? Ohms law?

All you gotta do is check for shorts and make sure your amps are good for the battery your using. VapeCalc.com

If you already use an ohm meter to check resistance then you'll be fine. I didn't get a mech for a long time, finally did and I love them. They just have a visceral feel, the cold hard steel in your hand (insert Tim The Toolman grunt).

Not to mention, GP mechs are just incredible. This Piccoloid I've been tootin' on for the past few days is an amazing little setup, and its oh so seckzi

I guess the exploding batteries mostly. I use an ohms meter when building my attys. I don't build very low and only use Samsung 25R, Sony VTC 4 (honestly I don't care for them, I just wanted 30A to be extra safe) or LG HE2 so I should be good there but it just makes me nervous. Like, I'm gonna take one too many drags and the battery will vent and there goes my face. Roxy had recommended a Stingray X clone and I like how they look but I can't pull the trigger. I know its silly. I'm not an expert but I think I'm pretty safe with my batteries and building but something just holds me back. I'd actually loooove to get a REO but... I'll get over it one day I guess.

Well, I'm going to call my vertical Tilemahos build my first flop. It can't keep up the wicking. I get 2-3 nice hits and then its a little dry.

Maybe I'll try a dual tomorrow.

Is your juice control open?
I kept fiddling with JC and also would get a dry-ish annoying hit every too often.
I was at like 1.5 Ohms using a regulated around 4 to 5v, 15 to 20 watts tops.
but mine is a V1, yours?
My V1 doesn't have a lot of room for even the single coil in there.

The JC is wide open! I really thought those slots were large enough to feed it. I think its a v1. I had a good size horizontal in it, 2.8mm. I put a smaller vertical in, 2mm.

Oh, the channels are there for something, but dont put wick down there........ Use rayon or cotton, enough to slip thru the coil, then cut it off a couple mm out side the base...... Then run a small tiny tail, a couple mm? down the channel, they stuff the rest inside the base to act as a dam or reservoir........ That should help things along.... If your juice is thick use a little less , around the posts and so depending on the thickness....... Ive seen verticals done and they are very popular, but dont stuff wick down the channels......
