I normally vape around 12 watts, although this last spaced coil I made is doing best at 15.. So I'm a renaissance vaper myself..

I use zero nicotine ejuice. Preference to dessert flavors. Still use a provari among other newer gear.

Speaking as a guy who loves Renaissance festivals, I'm not a fan of "Renaissance Vaper"... Doesn't sound right to me

Incidentally, I'm also not a fan of "Tootle puffer" either, but it's kind of grandfathered in at this point. MTL guy/gal is the sensible, no nonsense name, but i have my own nicknames for the different folks

MTL: Sippers! That's kinda what we do in a way. Tiny clouds and low juice consumption baby

DL/DTL: Cloud Chuckers is alright, but I prefer the term "Power Creeps™". A nice double entendre that illustrates the stereotypical DL user's unending quest for ever growing clouds and wattage, while simultaneously letting me call them creeps for being that way

As for devices, simple 19 or 22mm tube batteries with quality rebuildable tanks for this guy

I always find I don't really fit in anywhere because I can't talk about the same things as others.

I go through so little ejuice and all these people are talking about new ejuice this or new ejuice flavor that and all I can think is I haven't even finished the one 30ml bottle I made last month yet.. hahaha

And gear? I don't go through a mod a month, I just don't vape that much. I still own the perfectly good ego battery i bought during year two of vaping... and here nearly to year 5 of vaping it still works even though I don't use it now..

So it's weird trying to fit in with other vapers I think. I'm all ohhh look at the new Silverplay RTA and people fall asleep... lol..

    Question:
    Does anybody actually "chew" tobacco?

I'm with you on the low consumption thing opinionated. I bought a 60ml bottle of sauce back around Halloween and it's down to about 55% left. And I vape it all day, everyday.

I use a Zero pod and folks mention "a tank will last all day". Heck, I refill it once a week because it's down to half full. I used a Penguin with it's 8ml tank for a month and it was still dang near full when I switched to a Kroma with a Zenith tank.

My non vaping colleagues think I'm puffing on air when I vape on the elevator with them nearby. They ask "did you even hit that?" as I expel nothing.

yeah I know the feeling well  … Even though I own a new mod, I don't keep up on all of the latest hardware like some folks here.... As long as it vapes to my satisfaction, then it's good enough …

To be a Renaissance vape you'd have to post your art, your philosophy, your music and whatever else, and I'm just like, "Oh great, another thread I can't keep up with because I work." LOL.
OOOH.... maybe that DOES make me the Ultimate Reneasance vaper. I vape, I work, I write poetry in my spare time I could post it here. I also cook (now) because I am up in the apartment that I live in, plus I have never killed another motorist (that I know of) and I do yoga at least 5 times a week.

    Anna

    But I like Art ...
    uDLYy43.jpg

    ...and philosophy ..

    .. and music..

But I am not into cooking. Mamaw has all that covered.
Not much on poetry either. Besides, it's call "Rap Music" now.
Does juggling the remotes count for the TV, DirecTV, and Surround Sound count as Yoga ?
    just sayin'...

Still in Christmas Music Mode :D

I worked in a hotel for a while. They started playing Christmas music right after thanksgiving and it invaded my brain 40 hours a week, sometimes 60. They even had a speaker in the hallway outside my workshop in the basement. I get mad at Christians sometimes, but on the other hand apart from the music you guys did give us a pretty nice holiday.
See you in that place where people like me go. Or not. At least they won't have Christmas Music there.

I got vaping gear from the wife every Christmas for years, but this year I just flat out couldn't think of anything I wanted. I asked for a car FM transmitter so I can listen to 70's music in my 98 truck while I vape on my ancient renaissance gear. It has a USB outlet as well so I can charge up my mods.

I kind of like Renaissance Vaper. It will have to be a closet indulgence though. Wouldn't want to identify that way in public.

    Happy Christmas everyone.

yeah I would pull all of my gray hair out if that happened to me. Then you probably come home and turn on the TV and there is nothing but Christmas movies on

    Bah Humbug!

None the less, I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas!!

    I have to say this is funny;

See you in that place where people like me go. Or not.

    "See you in hell!"

Hahaha.. you know, all that Christmas music is about making sure we don't see one another in hell..

Hahaha. I'm sorry, that was just too funny.

Here is some Christmas music for you to ignore...

    Merry Christmas to all..

Renaissance just means rebirth. Rebirth of the classical, which at the time was ancient Greek.

It took on other meanings later. But that was how it was first applied. Or at least that is what art history lecturers taught.

And fwiw, half of them did those closet things mentioned. The Mona Lisa is possibly a self portrait in drag. And the best documentation of Michaelangelo's life was his letters to his boyfriend :)

Oh, so Kat invented the name (I should have known LOL) ….

Actually, not, but irrelevant. I'm drawing a blank on the name (it's early). Frog avatar, I think... (this getting old thing is for the birds, whatever that means).

Who cares! I just vape. Nobody ever discussed methods before sub-ohming got big. We all just vaped.

    "HITS LIKE A FREIGHT TRAIN!"
    "Taste is subjective."
    "Backups for your backups!"
"Start low and work your way up until you find your Sweet Spot."

And who will ever forget >

As for "names", I couldn't really care much less how people categorize me as a vaper. Thinking back on it, I actually never was much for the term, "Vaper" either. Some things just "are".

To paraphrase Al Davis, "Just vape, baby."

Just to add a piece of "nickel knowledge" (because that's about what it's worth)
I read somewhere once that in Shakespeare's time, the Theater was not considered a place for a woman.
If that is true, then the original Juliet was most likely a feminine male actor.

Me personally, I would hate to think we would be deprived of Raquel, Sophia, Farrah, Scarlet, etc....

    me too

and worse: "technically it is not smoke, it is vapour", when technically it is a liquid aerosol, not vapor

LOL … like I said, just don't call me "too late for dinner" :w00t:

I don't care about the name either..... Being tobacco free is what's important to me.
