so E-juice have to travel upwards quite a long route...

Long route? ;)

Ever seen a Vivi Nova? I don't know whose idea it was to place the coil on the very top of the tank. If there was one clearomizer I really hated it was the Vivi Nova. It burned my lips and I had to constantly tilt it to get those wicks to work.

That said, I do prefer bottom decks--Kayfun style. Unfortunately, svoemesto is going backwards, technologically speaking, and that airflow adjustment in the 1019 2019 is just ridiculous. They want me to disassemble the atomizer and use a screwdriver to adjust the airflow?  Not gonna happen. Been there, done that, not again. I never got the Siren because of that suspended deck, but it doesn't bother me in my SJMY Doggy and/or Fresia.

Oh, @Opinionated can answer this question also. Where has she been, anyway!

:vapor:

It's not very thirsty at all.... I'd call it middle of the road, not too much consumption but not the lightest usage I've ran into either.. (silverplay has a higher consumption)

What's the lightest? I know it's the doggy RTA for me. My thirstiest tank is the serpent mini, it's 2ml of pure flavour, but wow it drinks

@Katya - wait and see on the dovape huh?

@Katya I have the new KF Lite and don't understand what you are talking about. The AFC is a screw in the 510 pin. I don't know how you vape but I set it to how I liked it and haven't touched it since. This new KF is the simplest one to date and has moved into my top three regular attys.

I like to have choices--sometimes you need a little air, sometimes to you need a lot. :D

Besides, I prefer looser MTL--like the K4 has. Max. 1.8 mm diameter is too tight for me.

And K5? The only choices are either too wide or too tight (for me). Why don't they make inserts for vapers who prefer K4 type airflow? Somewhere between 1.8 and 2.7 mm or so?

Hey, all the concern about juice mileage...gotta throw this out there (again) this one, with its crazy solid hits, has just about cut my consumption in half. @Katya , just pull the Kayfun drill bit out of storage and modify it to your liking! Seriously, I don't even touch my doggies anymore. It made me go from trying for a more open draw to trying the doggies shut down a lot...but they still don't come close. After a couple of months, I'm also realizing my mod tops never need to be wiped - no more leftover vapor wafting out of the intake hole onto the mod for some reason. That's never happened with any atty I've had. I seriously love this thing.

Again, I'm MTL, so don't know why I'm on a RLH thread, but I guess just to learn. I had no idea anyone even vaped manbush. But it sure doesn't sound like my cup of vg. o_O
In fact I've built up about a 150mls of my manabush adv since switching to a mini.

Just a suggestion, @Katya, but maybe you should take another look ay the Vapefly Galaxies MTL Squonk RDTA, especially if you’re not too bothered with having only a 2 ml capacity when used on a regular (not squonk) mod.

Vapefly Galaxies MTL Squonk RDTA – VapeFly

Can be run with single or dual .8, 1.2 or 2 mm airholes. The air supply to the coil can be further tweaked with the two adjustable side airflow screw controls on deck. Easy to use top-fill with unicorn-style bottles via an on-deck, press-to-open valve. I get really good flavor out of this tank. If you like it, you can get a regulated squonk mod (if you don’t already have one) for more eliquid capacity. Mine is on a Pulse 80.

It’s kinda thirsty, but it seems to me that all genesis-style tanks are on the thirsty side.

    Currently about $30 at MFS:

Galaxies MTL Squonking RDTA by Vapefly

$16.77 at efun “Flash Sale” - if you trust them:

SM do a pack of inserts for the kayfun v5 to reduce the airflow at the deck. Another option.we used at first was to use a small roll of mesh in the under coil airflow hole to get it to your exact requirements. Works perfectly.

The man is nothing if not persistent. ;) Nope, no more drills for me. And seriously, I'm sure the True is a great atty, but I have plenty of tight MTL tanks--I'm now looking for something with a looser draw, larger capacity, cooler vape, and options to fine tune the AF to my liking. 1.5 mm air intake hole is outside of my sweet spot, unfortunately. So, pass for now.

Thanks, I did consider it, and it's still on the list, but I don't have a squonk mod--those were useful to keep cartomizers wet in the old days, if memory serves. :) For some reason I resisted squonking back then, and I'm not ready to embrace it now. And I don't have any wicking problems with my atties--I vape at low wattages and use simple, single coils.

But it's good to know you like it--and I'll keep it in mind while I'm hunting for my ideal vape.

They do, but not the sizes I want. What they sell is a set of very small-diameter reducers, nothing in the middle (1.8-2.5 mm or so)--I have no idea why, since there are so many vapers who like the looser MTL draw.

Yes, I know; some people also tried to make coils with specific OD and ID and shove them into that opening under the coil to reduce AF. But honestly, I refuse to pay 130 bucks for a tank that I know will not work for me as is. That just makes no sense to me whatsoever.

Me Neither! I'm just not sure you could get any vape out of that..

    hahaha

I'd love to know what I'm missing here.. but my mind is going all kinds of fun places!
