I helped do a threat assessment on their campus.
It is insane... I have not been on it since completion, but I saw the maps and numbers. I moved here in anticipation of the money coming into the area. Exxon employees pay a large chunk of my bills.

I’ve had two go right over my house. One Took the trees out by the roots right across the street, and threw a dumpster into my lilac bush, but we had no damage. That was a multi million dollar storm. Took out half of the next town. The other one was multiple tornadoes, hit at night and took out several neighborhoods and a big school.

That’s the only thing that freaks me out, the nighttime ones. I may not get a warning for those. During daylight hours I get five minutes to hide me and the pets.
I'm sitting here glad that it stopped snowing reading about spinning clouds of death.
I'll take a few months of wearing a parka and shoveling fluffy water.
God love ya.

For those that use multiple mods in daily rotation.

Do you have them all charged up and ready to run, or do you put batteries in them when required?

Probably for the safety aspect, batteries should be removed from mods that sit on the shelf for a day or two. But the convenience of grab and go with not having to put a matched pair in a mod is nice. The storage for all those batteries is another thing too.
I usually have 3-5 mods in regular rotation. I have sets of four of each battery for each mod.(I try to match the battery to the MOD when ordering, red Sanyo for Red Hex-ohm, purple Samsungs for the black and purple Hexohm, etc) I change them as needed and what I take out immediately goes into one of two 4 dock chargers. It is behind my desk and I see it all day. When charged these go into a cardboard box next to the charging station. I usually change out anytime I am at 50% or below. I have mods all over the place, mostly around my desk. If one is not in rotation it is battery less. I rarely carry batteries with me unless going on vacay (and then it is a ridiculous amount of EXCESS) but I always do grab at least 2 mods to leave the house.
Hey... shallow obsessing all the way right.....:headbang:

Did a couple other spots as well, and went over to do some in Lake Charles.

I drove a couple sticks, one was a 20 year old Pinto. No power nothing. I live in town, stop signs every block. It was like a rowing machine. On the plus, I was fit, I mean super fit lol!
I always preferred a stick. But, I've heard the newer sticks can't be push start! (I used to always park on a hill.)

But, when I was a courier and driving a stick, I developed a click in my left ankle from all the rush hour traffic using the clutch.
Buy it! Heck, buy two!
Whenever I hear that, I remember my mother. That's what she used to say about anything seriously overpriced.
If anyone is looking for a cheap triple battery mod, e cig city is selling these COV mods for $9.99. Tough to beat that price provided the mod works.

My least favorite thing ever, that fluffy water. If I ever get out of Ohio, I’m going where I never see that stuff again. Not even in a snow globe. I survived the historic blizzard of ‘78. Put me right off winter.

Western Mass gets microbursts sometimes.
We get amusing little lumps of water and some wind in Central Mass
Last June -

Speaking of micro-bursts:
My poor youngest grandson! About a week ago, on an otherwise nice sunny day, suddenly (while he was walking home from elementary school) it got dark and started to thunder. Then the skies opened up. Heavy rain and hail. When he got home he was soaking wet and crying. He said the hail hurt. And, by then the rain had already stopped!

I know FB is mostly a pretty piece of spyware filled with people that you wouldn't hang out with barfing their opinions and like-addicts desperate for acceptance but I find enough distilled oceans of inspiring awesomeness to make it worthwhile. YMMV
