I too, hope your daughter is okay,
@DeloresRose . These things can be so scary.
I'm sort of the opinion that most people don't "deserve" a Darwin award, unless it's just stubborn, total refusal to listen to what anyone says, but even then.... When my kiddo's "DUI" (it wasn't one, but he was too silly not to mention "the card." which turned it into one) arresting officer lost an eye by arresting a very drunken, stiletto heeled agitated Latina? When my son started to gloat, I had to answer, (repeatedly). "Yes... But no one really
deserves to lose an eye, now do they?"
If I'd gotten what I "deserved" in life, I would not be posting on this board. LOL.
Although, I will say, I exempt Glantz from that, he can come by my house and pick up his Darwin award any time he'd like. Only, I'm not exactly sure he's a human being, really. He sure doesn't act like one.
What we really need are "Political Darwin Awards." To not derail the thread too much, I will merely mention my own CURRENT highest climber toward the PD awards. Maxine Waters and I won't say much more. The sheer hilarity of watching her in action almost trumps the PD awards, but no. She remains at the top of my list.
Of course, the pols aren't playing by the same rules as the rest of us, they have PREMADE bunkers and whatnot. LOL.
